    We have owned beachfront property and have stayed at various condos with Gulf views. This particular unit has the best-unobstructed view of the Gulf.

    The exterior has been recently upgraded and looks good. The balconies have a nice finish. The layout inside is fairly good with 2 very separate bedrooms with ensuite baths. There is a half bath downstairs.

    We arrived on a Wednesday with weather forecasts predicting rain, dangerous high tides, and beach flooding. Well, it didn't rain and other than contractors working on the units, we were either the only guests or one of few.

    So, it could have been the timing, the weather, the construction or a combination but the location alone should have been attractive enough to at least fill the Gulf view units.

    For the money, you expect more than a cheap finish out. The flat screen TVs were nice. However, cheap old and undersized ceiling fans, $10 shower heads that probably never worked well, Gulf view windows with broken seals, original builder grade shallow sink in the kitchen and very low-end appliances take away from the experience. We own quite a few properties and they are our retirement investments and so we don't say "It's just a rental" as we make money by having a waiting list.

    For comfort, the beds were spongy and the window coverings did little to block out the light from outside making it hard to sleep.

    As for the complex? Parking is good. It appears that the exterior of all the units are getting makeovers and that is a good thing.

    The onsite management was nice. The pool was well maintained and inviting.

    Most will not read this review and only look at the star rating but this review is meant to be constructive to the owner of unit 205 as he/she/they have a wonderful unit that could have a waiting list if only they would upgrade a few more things. Most of which cost only a few dollars to a few hundred.
