Cozy - Too many Rules
The condo was beautiful and cozy. But there’s a sign in kitchen saying we have to put the dishes in the dishwasher, take out the trash ourselves to the dumpster, etc., and threaten to send a citation if not done. They charge an additional $150 cleaning fee per night ahead of time, but make you clean the place yourself when you show up.

Thank you for your feedback. We do ask that our guests load and start the dishwasher, along with bagging up your trash, before you leave to help our cleaning team get a head start. We do not issue citations, nor do we threaten to issue citations, for failure to do these items so we are unsure of the sign you are referring to; however, we will check the property to make sure no such sign is posted. In our rental agreement, we do state that if a property is left excessively dirty, additional charges will apply for the additional time spent cleaning. Padre Escapes does not charge an additional $150/night in cleaning fees; it is a one time cleaning fee attached to all of our bookings - rates do vary depending on the size of the property booked. Not much of an ocean view!!!
Was stated that condo had ocean view. I couldn’t wait to sit on the balcony and watch the waves! Barely could see the beach and that was standing up not sitting down. Lots of stairs and steps to climb. We are in our 70’s and was worn out from climbing. The condo was clean. Was a little outdated, but was nice enough. Also assumed there was a washer and dryer. I know now, not to assume anything! Area was nice, not far from beach and the pool area was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Will make sure we have a good view of ocean if we come back!

2nd time we've stayed at El Constante never had any issues rooms were clean great location for shopping & several good restaurants(my favorite Padre Island Burger Company) but the best thing its right on the beach with great views from our balcony

Wonderful weekend getaway
My family and I really enjoyed our 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom condo. It was very clean, well furnished and comfortable. Did have to contact the front desk to report a faulty toilet. Maintenance was sent within 3 hours to address the problem.

Perfect Padre scape on whitescape beach
It was perfect for a family of 4. Checkin process was very easy. Property was cleaned. Few things could have been better like if it would have been more plates and cups and glasses in the kitchen. Also not many towels if you are staying for longer period of time. This property does not have washer and dryer in the unit so if you plan to stay for longer period of time then you will have to manage. Property is right on the beach so you can just walk. It is also very close to a local grocery store and restaurants.

We had a great time here, you are on the beach as soon as you walk out the door passed the pool. We had a great time just hanging out at the pool and everything you need can be delivered from HEB and all the local restaurants. We will be back
Condo exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable and close to the beach. The cable TV was out when we arrived Sunday afternoon and still not working when we checked out on Thursday. They tried to fix in on Sunday, but no success. The grandkids were not happy, but I think no TV was good.

Great place to relax!!!
Excellent place to relax, have fun and affordable. Customer service was great also and their recommendations for places to eat were really good!!! Definitely coming back!!!

Awesome Beach Experience
The staff and condo at El Constante were just awesome - as always! Even with issues on the island due to the hurricane that passed by iver the weekend the staff handled everything! No better place on North Padre Island!

As close as the beach as you can get
The best of the property is the location, you are steps away from the beach and if you need to take a lot of stuff to the beach, just drive around the complex and you are there (make sure to buy your beach parking permit). The unit is spacious. Two bedrooms and two full baths was very convenient for my family of four. Two balconies were nice even if they are not directly to the beach, you still have a good view. Checking and checkout was a breeze. The unit has a keypad lock which is nice, you don't need to worry about a key or card. The pool is on the small size but still it was great for winding down at the end of the day. Overall, we had a great stay...we are already planning to come back

Room 225 needs some LUV!
Rental had several issues and trying to get someone to take care of issues was a nightmare. Sliding glass doors would not lock and with toddlers a bit dangerous. Shower door runners were broke off in master as well as faucet damaged & water pressure sucked. What was really sad it was more comfortable sleeping on the sofa-bed than on the mattress in the Master - such a shame room was just used to store our suitcases. Kitchen is a great design, but burners were rusted and falling apart and fridge door racks were broken half off,so couldn't store anything in door. After the 3rd day repairs requested were taken care of by a very pleasant man named Mike. It's nice to be close to beach, and they have an awesome pool, but condo definitely needs some attention!

Awesome 2-story Condo with a Beachview
This 2 story condo was amazing. Plenty of room for our family of four. Extremely clean, nicely decorated with 3 balconies. Master bedroom was a nice size with its own private bath and a balcony where you could watch the sunrise over the water. Easy walk to the beach and a great pool. The office staff was so friendly and helpful. The outside of the condos are being renovated and will look great when completed. We would definitely stay here again!

Home Away from Home
We are frequent flyers with El Constante! This was our 33rd year at the condos - we rent various units and sizes. We LOVE the fact that the property is right on the beach and that the landscaping is kept up, and there are BBQ pits nearby. The front desk staff is usually very inviting and helpful and they are quick to respond to daily requests. The only problem we had with this trip is that I told them about the disposal in the kitchen wasn't working on our last visit to this unit and on this return visit, it still wasn't working. They wanted to send someone that day, but with little ones, that wouldn't work out.Also the dishwasher wasn't working (releasing detergent) on both visits

Beach view with helpful staff
At first I was very disappointed. Room 225 was terrible. Mold smell, dirty air register mattress was wore out. Carpet needed to be replaced bad electrical covers. Needed a good cleaning. We complained and they gave us room 211. It was awesome. Clean and beautiful. I can't say enough good things about the room. The location is great. Close to the beach and walking distance to a great fishing spot. The wife and I were very happy. Yeah the first room was terrible but they moved us and was very nice about it. So my review is on the good room. Not the bad one. Thank you Savannah for all the help.

Satisfied
Satisfied with our stay. Would have appreciated being told of the city ordinance that all tarps and frames need to be picked up at end of day or risk them being taken up by city workers...we lost 3 tarps! We have been staying at this beach for 30 yrs and this has never happened, very annoyed by this. Please let your guests know. Otherwise all was good. Thank you.

EXCELLENT.
Location, location, location!! Excellent condo right on the beach. Pool was great. Everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. Beds very comfortable.

I love staying here but this time had a problem with the air conditioner keeping it cool enough. Maintenance was very helpful in getting it fixed. The king bed mattress is terrible-you definitely roll to the center of the bed. Time for a new mattress.

Great 2 bedroom units that were available very early for us. Nice decorated and very comfortable. We've stayed here for more than 10 years and have always enjoyed our time there.
