The only reason I did not give this rental a 5 star is becuase we were only able to use the pool for 2 out of the 5 days we stayed due to maintenance on the deck. This was an inconvience but thankfully the beach was amazing. This unit was decorated just as it's pictured and was perfect for our family. We rented 3 units and this one was the largest of the 3 and accomodated all of us for dinner.

There was paper under the sofa The ice maker broke The stove was Filthy The kitchen was filled with fire aunt’s they we’re all over the kitchen wall and counter tops and got into are sealed boxes We had to throw a lot of food away. Several of the girls that were cleaning including myself good bit by the fire aunt’s . The lights to the rooms were also not working.I had to call the maintenance which he said the breaker was off outside and this will be sprayed for the fire ants but my morning they were all out again I’m very disappointed in my state it’s time

This was our third time staying at Nemo Cay. It's always clean, and convenient. The company is very nice and professional when I've talked to them. I've had to call a couple times over the years for maintenance issues, and they always send someone out quickly. The pool is great, of course. Definitely a great place to stay.

Check-in and out were a breeze and made the process very easy. Location was nice, though we probably prefer a closer beach experience. Nice sleeping arrangements. Lots of room to eat for our large group. (We were a group of 13 in 2 townhouses in the complex and ate our lunch and dinner meals in this unit.) Our issues were bugs and a very slow draining bathroom sink. We left bug spray for the next tenant.

This condo worked great for our family. We had 4 adults and 4 children. Plenty of room and very clean. A few kitchen items need to be replaced, but overall it was a wonderful place to stay. The property advertises a heated pool, it was not heated while we were there.

The condo was very nice and clean. The ad red 10 people but it would have to be children. We were tight with 8. The 2nd bed in the guest room is a twin, not a full. This pic was a little deceiving. Loved all the space in the living room for everyone.

It was great. The only problem is that we are coffee drinkers and the coffee pot malfunctions. I would suggest a new coffee pot or instruct guests to bring their own

Very clean and relaxing. I had a family of 8, including 2 children.There was plenty of space. The beach was a few minutes away which was another plus. It was really a nice place to stay, I will definitely use them again.

This unit offers comfort with plenty of space for your family. It has a well equipped kitchen and other nice appointments throughout. The location is convenient but has no view. Be sure to visit the German Bakery, right around the corner. Their bread, pastries and other offerings are unequalled in the area.

The place was nice - but there is no parking. Only two slots per condo. if you have three or more vehicles in your group someone will need to park in the street

The house and the location was perfect. The only thing I wish the property management would do is enforce pool rules and parking space. I was supposed to have 2 assigned parking spaces but had other cars park there. I tried to call the property manager and was told there was nothing there can do. Also, the pool had ADULTS blasting loud music and dancing inappropriately. There was multiple groups doing the same thing at the same time!

BC106K was extremely clean and very comfortable. The pool and playground was perfect for children and families, except the dog litter receptacle was right at the front gate of the play area (bad idea) - STINKS bad when you enter!

This condo was nothing special compared to another condo we rented in April. This condo was overpriced, further from the beach and had the VERY basic amenities in the house... Kitchen had plenty of plates, mugs and glasses but only had one small frying pan, no brownie, cupcake or casserole dishes whatsoever, had to go out and buy disposable items to finish cooking our dinners..the time spent together is always amazing but will be staying elsewhere next time.

Thank you for your feedback, we're certainly disappointed in some of your concerns but this is the first complaint of this type that we have seen. The property is priced inline with other like type units in the area and I wonder if you may have missed a cabinet or drawer because many of those items you mentioned were in the property. We will go by there to double check that there are present and get with the owner on any missing items. Thank you again for your feedback. Since your review the owner has sent us the following message "unit now has a square n a muffin baking sheet, XL casserole pan, XL frying pan, XL Tupperware all purpose / salad bowl n a couple extra cutting board" We appreciate your feedback in helping us improve this property and our guest services.

The floor of the property was really dirty! My daughter who was 9 months old, and crawling every wear, was covered in dirt on day one of our stay I will say also that both of the mattresses in the main bedrooms were extremely firm and weren't comfortable at all. If we were to go back we would probably try out a different unit. However our overall stay was nice. Good property, amenities and location.

Our stay was great ,we had a great condo Beautiful weather . The only thing we was sad about the pictures were a little deceiving we thought that the condo was with in walking distances of the beach not true. The pool was nice and not many people there when we was so that was nice, if the rentals were all full there wouldn't of been enough room for everybody , but we got lucky and came after spring break there. All was good and we had a great time . Just wouldn't go back again cause we like the beach to and you have to drive about 10 miles to it and pay to get in to it. But the rental was good. Except for all the other condos we've been at supply the totlet paper and garbage bags and this place did not.

Thank you for the feedback. This complex is about 1 mile from the beach (2-3 minute drive), the National Seashore is about 10 miles away and you do have to pay to get in there. We apologize for any confusion. We do stock every unit with a start supply (2 of each) toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, make-up wipes, and more.

Worked out great! Plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 kiddos!! Place was clean and super close to beach! Fun pool and playscape for the kiddos!! Will definitely stay there again! The only thing that could have made it more wonderful is if was right in the beach so we could walk there!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this resort. I would highly recommend this place.

Pros
The location was easy to get to
Nicely decorated and cozy
Short drive to the beach
Got to see 4th of July fireworks from front porch
Plenty of towels
Washer and Dryer
wi-fi and cable
The communication from Padres Escapes via email and the app was great!
Cons
No access to any cleaning products so that we could wipe down kitchen counters and stove after cooking. A broom would have been nice to sweep up sand tracked in.
The upstairs bottom bunk-bed was extremely noisy. (Like sleepy on aluminum foil)- Not detrimental but kind of an-nuisance

The house is in great shape and very beautiful. The only concern I did have was that before I booked I wish I was told about the construction going on right in front of the house. The subdivision is not finished. The construction workers were there very early on a Saturday and worked all day long. I have little ones, so I had to be very careful just walking to the pool area with them because of moving trucks/fork lifts carrying drywall. A discount should be provided for the rental while construction is underway. WiFi did not work the whole weekend we were there. Also, bring dish soap. I have stayed at other rental houses and they at least provide you with dish soap.

Mam we do provide dish soap as well as dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper and more at every property we manage. If you were missing or ran out of any of these items you should've let us know and we would've been happy to bring them to you. We could have also addressed the wifi not working if we would've known. Unfortunately the construction and people moving into other properties is out of our control but it should all be done soon. We hope you come stay with us again next year and enjoy the property in it's fully completed state.
