Great house and great location
My family and I had a great time on our mini Family vacation. The location of this beach house made everything easier and more convenient. We were within walking distance to our beach house. We were also really close to stores, bars, and etc.

beautiful condo & great location
very pretty, modern decor. had everything we needed. easy walk to beach. beach toys available for use but our neighbors had beach chairs and we did not....would have been nice. and a cart to haul stuff to beach.

Family Beach Weekend
This was our very first family vacation all together since the loss of my husband/their father. It was very special to us. The condo was beautiful. Sleeping spaces everywhere and We absolutely loved the placement of television’s in every sleeping space to include the bonus space with the futon. We had a few concerns but the mgmt comp was quick to respond and resolve. If I had to make any suggestions it would be to place a hose in the front or back for ease in rinsing. We would definitely stay again.

A Great Vacation
1. The unit we stayed in was excellent. It was new, 200 yards from the Gulf, bright, attractive, well furnished with items in the kitchen, living room, bath & bedrooms. In all ways, it far exceeded our expectations. The pictures on the website did not capture the greatness of the unit. We were there 78 days. The eastward view off the balcony any time of the day or night was incredible. It does not get any better than that.
2. Padre Escapes Vacation Rentals was exceptional. They were easy to work with, straightforward and honest in all our dealing with them. Their use of technology made it easy to communicate with and receive communication from them. I found it easy to trust them.
a. We had some minor issues – a light bulb going out. One call and within the hour a maintenance person was onsite to replace the burned-out bulb.
b. We had some electrical outages that impacted the Island. Texts from Padre Escapes informed us of the issues and when return to service would be expected.
c. There was a unexpected water outage due to the major water line from the mainland rupturing. Text messages kept us updated on repairs, the need to boil water and finally when it was not necessary to boil water.
d. Throughout the unit was contact information regarding WiFi, TV, Padre Escapes. All you need was right in front of you.
e. Check out was easily done via the App.
The were great to work with and a very professional team of people.
3. Emily was incredible. Warm, knowledgeable, personable, friendly, supportive, easy to talk with and work with. I felt she was on our side and went out of her way to help make the process of getting there, staying there and returning next year possible. We were blessed to have her representing us on behalf of Padre Escapes. It as a joy working with her.
We had a great time. We have already booked a return for next year and look forward to working with Padre Escapes in the years to come.

Our condo was very spacious. We enjoyed the nice big kitchen and comfortable beds. The balcony connected to the master bedroom was awesome! In the evening, we sat outside and had wine and enjoyed the cool breeze and view of the sea. In the mornings, we enjoyed the sunrise. Very convenient to the beach. Just across the street. The roof didn't leak
It was okay. Nothing outstanding, nothing terrible. Just a place to sleep while you spent the day at the beach. Everything it needed to be.

Winter Texans Treated Well During Trying Times
For a second year we spent nine weeks in this unit. The location is great, but wear and tear are taking their toll. Bubbling paint on the first floor ceiling along with light bulbs burning out in the living room ceiling fixture seem to indicate water leaking from the bathroom areas above. Kitchen equipment and utensils need upgrading. The wifi, televisions, and cable choices are great
We enjoyed great weather except for the storm with power and water outages in mid-February. The Padre Escapes staff responded to the outages with great hospitality at their office. We even managed to get both our Covid vaccine doses during our stay.

Good location with good amenities
Overall I liked it . But there are some basics things they need to address. As many other visitors mentioned --
1. The dryer sucks and needs to be replcaed.
2. Locks are unusable including the one in the main door which is not fun.
3. The vacuum I could not use properly --the pwer is gone and a better mop helps.
4. The upstairs bathroom sinks need fixing --one of them had very low water pressure and tin the other one the water wont drain for a long time.

Cute condo
The condo was cute and able to sleep many people. You can see and hear the beach from the upstairs balcony which made it nice to sit out there at night. There is a road directly in front of the condo but there wasn’t much traffic on it.

Great place to stay!!
The place was big and roomy. Close to beach. The place was clean. My only suggestion is to make the numbers on the assigned parking bigger and brighter and put some type of drawers in the closets of the two smaller bedrooms. Otherwise Is great place to stay

2 night stay
Overall we had a great time. The facility was very neat and clean. The pool area needs major updating as far as pool maintenance and my family and I saw several rats in the pool area along the fence line and on a BBQ pit/grill, it was pretty gross.

Great condo for family beach vacation!
Beautifully decorated condo. Great place to stay while vacationing on North Padre Island. The website states there are two bedrooms with King size beds and one bedroom with a queen. This unit actually only has a king in the master and full size beds in the second and third bedrooms. Other than that, it had ample space for family gatherings!

Good
Wonderful with small twick Internet service for satellite TV reception only worked on living room television. With a 3 year old that didn’t work well. I called management, someone came and couldn’t get to work and caused less reception on only working tv. She said someone else would who had more experience but no one ever came. At least Netflix worked but we all shouldn’t have to watch cartoons. We had forethought to bring iPad with loaded movies for child that entertained her but we couldn’t watch regular stations since spectrum kept getting kicked out. Needed tv while it rained and couldn’t be at beach.

Not responsible if your vehicle is towed
Had issue with the parking I was assign for the unit I rented. Every time i return from the beach my parking would be taken, call rental management to resolve the issue and they say they will send some one that never came, so i park on the next available spot. Woke up the next morning with a note on my vehicle saying that i was park on a assigned parking and I will be towed, call rental management that same morning and I explain the situation and I was told that they are not responsible if your vehicle is towed

Great stay!!
Everything was easy and fantastic! Across the street from the beach and the view from balcony is nice. Street is a little busy but you can’t hesr much from inside. The only issue was connectivity with the cable. You can use your Netflix account if you have one. I would definitely come back!

Bad Trip
I will never be back to Padre Beach View. We had been there before and I was especially looking forward to the heated pool. We get there its not heated. After talking to your office and reading between the lines it became apparent to me the pool heater had been out since the Sept hurricane and hadn't been fixed because the HOA didn't want to spend the $6000 plus that I was told it would cost. If it wasn't going to be fixed I should have been told and allowed to back out of the rental.

Beautiful Beach Rental
We loved staying at Padre Beach View ! It was very quiet, comfortable, and convenient to the beach, as well as to Corpus Christi & Port Aransas, plus many good restaurants. And the view from the master bedroom balcony was amazing, especially when the full moon reflected off the ocean! We could even hear the sounds of the ocean. The kitchen had everything necessary for meal preparations. The pool was beautiful, and quite warm, however, we were disappointed that it was not larger. (The pictures of the pool made it seem much larger than it actually was.) The owners were accommodating and the staff at Padre Escapes was friendly, available, receptive and helpful in providing information and assistance. We would definitely stay at Padre Beach View again !

Last stay with Padre
We have stayed with Padre in the past and the whole trip was wonderful. This time it was little frustrating. 1) called to ask to rent a day earlier since only 1/4 of the group would be in on Thursday night. They wanted us to pay double the cost for one night. needless to say we stayed at the Omni . 2) Early check in. The lady who I talked to both times said they would call if we could check in early. She was very unfriendly and short. She never called, so we checked in at 4:00pm. 3) The sofa in this place is like sitting on boards. If you have kids they can hurt themselves on this item. 4) beds are very unconformable.

Great Vacation.
New, Clean, Decorated cute & "beachy", comfortable beds, & 5 TV's you should never use because your at the beach. Good kitchen. Functionally. Really can only sleep 7. 2 in each bed plus 1 downstairs. Great for teenagers to young kids. Complex is nice & new. Safe. Fenced area with gate. Great for storing beach equipment. 2nd floor balcony off master bedroom. Would highly recommend.

Padre Vacations 2016 - amazing!
This was my first trip to Corpus Christi and first time to stay in Padres Escapes vacation home. The trip was absolutely amazing! The home was clean and beach accessible. Locked Out!
After the first day,th e stay was very good. The first day,one of our group got locked out. The office was no help except to tell us to call a lock smith at our own expense of $250. I have rented many condos and never seen a situation where the rental agency did not have access to their own units. The location was great. Unit was very clean and well supplied . Might mention the the stairs were very steep and small.

Great place!
Excellent property, very clean, great location. The only constructive comment is that you cannot fit 10 people is this property as mentioned on the website. We were 7 and slept comfortable, but if we would have had another guest, they would have slept on the couch downstairs, which is not a pull out or good for sleeping. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

Great to hear you enjoyed the property. I think you may have missed the fold-out credenza bed in the living area, it's actually much more comfortable than a sleeper sofa. You can see it folded out in the pictures. The upstairs futon also folds down so the property can sleep a total of 10 guests. Padre Weekend
We had an enjoyable short vacation in Padre Island and very much enjoyed our stay at Padre Escapes with our family. We were a little disappointed with the small pool...we thought it was going to be bigger as per the pictures on line. Only other concern was that we had sugar ants in our kitchen and living room (we called management and they quickly sent us some insect spray). Other than that we had a great time and would definitely consider coming back.

Short Family Vacay
Overall good experience. Rental company was quick to be helpful. However, felt nickel and dime for what we were already paying. Check in was 4p when most major hotels is 3p. Check out was at 11a (most major hotels 12p) and when I asked for a late checkout was told it would be $25 an hour. Additionally there is a $50 fee to use the pool. Just seems a little much when already paying the daily rate and cleaning fee.

Initially we did say there was a $25 late check-out fee due to incoming guests but when we realized it was available we offered you a later check out at no additional cost. Great place for a Family!
Our stay was great-except for the 14 hour power outage, but hey, the unit handled great in the storm! Loved the decor (and would love to find out where some of the items were found)! Accommodations were perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids-plenty of space not to get on each other's nerves. The view from the balcony is perfect, especially for morning coffee! Loud neighbors (till 5 am) were a bit of a bummer for the master bedroom, but can't control that!

Unfortunately you do get the occasional noisy neighbor during Spring Break stays. If you guys would've let us know about it during your stay we would've had no problem contacting that owner (it wasn't a property we manage) about those guests and gotten it taken care of. Family Time
Our family really enjoyed out stay. The first day we had an issue with the breaker box but the next day it was fixed! The pool area was a lot different than the picture but overall the kids had a good time. We definitely will return.
