Village by the Beach - The Beautiful Place P918

Nice property, needs a few updates on kitchen equipment but overall very nice. Very fishy check in time “rules” according to Padre Escapes. Just because it says 4 they don’t guarantee it...saying it says STARTING at 4. They sure charge for and enforce early check in or late check out but are vague and non commital when families coming in with kids and groceries need to depend on check in time. Their rep was very rude about it on the phone. Also 10 towels total for 16 people and one queen bed made with full sheets that wouldn’t stay on (should have been obvious when made) neither were fixed until Monday since check in was Saturday, Padres grades were not great.

We do state that our check-in time "starts at 4pm" however check-in time is also dependant on the readiness of the unit as such we never can guarentee that 4pm check-in time frame. Our group of four single moms and seven kids stayed at this rental last weekend. Overall we had a great experience! The location was walking distance to the beach (about 7 minutes) and the pool was perfect for our kids (6 and under). One of the televisions wasnt working (which we wouldnt have noticed because it wasnt in the bedroom or main area) and the property management was swift to tell us before our arrival and attempted to replace it while we were there (which we declined since we wouldn't have used it).

Some of the things that could have been better. The back door entrance wouldn't stay closed unless it was dead bolted. So we couldn't enter through the closest entrance from the beach and always had to have someone walk around the entire complex to enter through the door with the lock code and then let everyone else in. The walls are certainly thin, so I recommend bringing sound machines for sleeping. The neighbors next door to us had a great time partying until the wee hours of the morning which we heard a lot of...and I'm sure they didn't appreciate our early rising kids. Haha.

Spacious with plenty of comfortable beds. Clean. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils. Washer and dryer nice to have. Arcade and foosball were fun extras. Turf, picnic table, and hose in the back patio were helpful with cleaning up from beach time.
Great location with a short walk to the beach. Disappointed that the water features in the splash pad weren't working and seem to have fallen into disrepair, but we enjoyed both pools. Clear and helpful communication from management.

The condo was mostly clean, had plenty of room, and was close to the beach and pool. The kitchen is upstairs, which can be challenging, but we didn’t mind too much.

We were unable to do laundry during our stay because the dryer was broken. I notified Padre Escapes on our second day, and they didn’t send anyone out until two days later, and they still couldn’t get it fixed. One of the tvs also had a weird screen issue downstairs in the game room area, so we were unable to use it.

Beautiful home that has plenty of room for 15 people. The only issue was that the upstairs “Master bedroom” only has a Queen bed in it. All the rest are King beds. This should change. The kitchen is on the top floor so be prepared to walk up the flights.

Not recommended for oldies and little ones. my 9 year old son fell in the stair and glad no broken bones. Having hard time to bring all staffs at the 3rd floor. Kitchen and Living room at the 3rd floor
