The rental itself was fine, though the carpets could have used a deep cleaning. Comfortable and spacious. Well equipped. The dock behind the house is not really usable for a deep draft boat due to silting in the channel. While we were there, a boat was actually stolen from one of the docks by us, which was unnerving. Also, there is no fencing between docks so the people next door had their kids right outside our back door the last two days, which kind of detracted from the otherwise picturesque view.

Thank you for your review, we are always looking to evolve and improve the guest experience, so we truly value your feedback. We plan on addressing a deep clean for this property soon. A boat being stolen during your stay is unnerving to say the least! We are very surprised to hear that since we have not received any details like this before about this unit. This townhome at Las Haciendas is part of a shared complex with a shared fishing dock, fish cleaning station, and beautiful view. We hope having the private balcony and patio area helped to distance from surrounding guests. We welcome you back anytime!

The townhome was perfectly located; minutes from a great beach, on a canal excellent for watching fish jump and birds strut by. It was acceptably clean, the linens were quality, the maintenance staff was quick to respond, efficient and friendly. The kitchen pans and beach chairs need to be replaced. We enjoyed the decks and screened in porch.

Not much to complain about, just has a bad mold/ mildew smell, wouldn’t want to spend a long time indoors with this but for vacation it’s perfect.

The house was comfortable and clean with a nice dock for our boat right out the back door. I would recommend this to anyone with a boat who wants to fish this area.

This is a great three-bedroom home along the canal with a nice big deck. It is spacious, and very comfortable. Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, and plenty of streets in which to bike. It has a nice shaded screened porch which would be especially appealing in the summertime when the heat is high. I would highly recommend. The only reason I gave four stars to our satisfaction section was because it did not have a grill of any sort. This was a big disappointment, as we enjoy grilling a few times a week. But other than that, every other aspect of our stay would be above avg. We would watch the egrets and pelicans every afternoon “hunting” in the channel. It is a nice residential area, so we were happy not to have any noisy, party type neighbors.

House is in a great location, on the water with multiple decks and a view of the grasslands. Highlights of our trip were birdwatching, walking to the beach and fishing from the dock. The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay at the same location again.

This place is easy to get to and has so many amentities! The kids and adults all found comfort and ease. Great location! Perfect for weekend fishing trip. Lots of kitchen seating and open floor plan made it so comfortable. There was an issue with some wiring in the master bedroom, and Padre escapes came in right away and got it fixed. The only downside is that it was advertised with a personal boat dock, and we were not allowed access to it because there was another boat there. We used one next door that was not in use.

We loved the back deck area. We were able to fish and kayak (note: the only way to unload the kayaks at the unit is through a narrow alley and over the AC units)
Cons: No charcoal grill. Ant problem in the kitchen. Fridge smelled of dead fish. Stains on the grey pillow cases. Unit is a little dated. Coffee maker did not hold water for the pot side-- it spilled out on the bottom (but the Keurig side worked).
Pro: Great night fishing (bring your own green light or spot light). Very little boat traffic. Plenty of room in the unit. Overall very clean (except for the bedding mentioned above). Kitchen stocked with utensils and pots/pans. Towels and soap were provided as well as dish soap and detergent.

Would we rent again-- YES! All the "cons" are easily fixable and did not ruin our trip. We have saved this property for a future visit!

Conveniently located to the shops and beach. The condo was in perfect order. Very clean and a nice sitting area in back over the canal.

Units has ants bad, also the neighbor park big truck in front of the unit so have to park off garage access and no direct access to canal for kayaks.

Thank you for the feedback. Ants can be bad this time of year, since your review we've reported the issue to the HOA to add extra treatments to the exterior and we've increased our treatments to the interior as well. If you'll report parking issues to us we can either reach out the neighbor or if that doesn't work we can contact the HOA as well. Typically just letting the driver know they're blocking you will get them to move but we can always help too. For kayaking there are 2 access points, the closest is a concrete walkway (10 feet away) on the other side of the property fence by this unit. It's used regularly, the kayaks can be floated to and tied up at the property's dock. The second access point is a walkway on the far side of the complex. Thank you again for the feedback.
