As many of you have heard the order from the City of Corpus Christi banning short-term rentals has been lifted, 72 hours early. So as of this morning we can now accept bookings for April 28th and on.
Of course, things won’t quite be back to normal. We’ve consulted with the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA) as well as the Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals (VRHP) and other vacation rental companies and at this time their consistent recommendation is to “wait 24 hours before entering the property” after a checkout.
So while we are accepting reservations we cannot have stays booked that would not allow for at least 24 hours between stays. In other words if someone is checking out that morning we can’t have another guest checking in that afternoon.
In today’s world of uncertainty Padre Escapes is offering guests peace of mind with a “Worry-Free 72-hour Cancellation Policy”. For new reservations occurring between April 28, 2020 to September 7, 2020, guests will receive a full refund for reservations cancelled 72 hours or more prior to arrival, no questions asked.
Padre Escapes has always had extremely high standards for cleanliness in our properties and our goal is always to ensure the health and safety for our guests, homeowners, and staff. While we have always held high standards for our cleaning procedures, we have now put in place even more rigorous disinfection protocols following guidelines laid out by the World Health Organization and CDC.
You’ll also sleep-easy knowing that our linens and towels are professionally cleaned in a commercial grade laundry facility that can provide the high temperatures, chemicals, and sanitization needed for proper laundering. Residential machines and over-the-counter laundry soaps are not the proper way to care for linens used in vacation rental properties.
