Nice room but Master Bedroom Mattress needs to be replaced.
The mattress in the master bedroom was caved in upon our arrival. Maintenance looked at it and disagreed according to the office. I do not understand because it is visibly concaved on the end and middle of the bed.

Perfect Family Summer Vacation

Our stay was relaxing. Rental was clean, very equip with items needed for our stay. View was acceptable. Only issues were the labels on bedding, a CD player that did not work correctly (would not eject CD) and the mattress on the fold-out couch is hard. They were promt to answering calls for any issues. Clean Cabana
The cabana was clean. The room temp was very warm when entering. An ac tech needed to be called by customer service to review the thermostat and get compressor to start.
Beds could use an upgrade. Our bed was very low to the floor.

Very Equipped
When we arrived, we noticed the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms had a little more than the other Cabanas we have stayed at in the past ex, extra beds/towels/box fan and kitchen utensils. It was nice and clean, it also had cameras that showed the outside parking lot and cabana yard. A couple of negative things is the couch was very worn, felt little to no fluff in the cushions. One of the chair legs for the dining room table was very lose, so we avoided sitting in that chair while dining. And the bed in the master bedroom needs to be replaced, very uncomfortable, felt like the springs were coming through the mattress. Very hard to get a good night's rest. The front door was swollen, you had to slam it to close and push really hard to open it. As we loved most of everything about this Cabana, we will not be renting it again, because both my husband and I had to get adjustments and massage on our backs to get them back to normal. Cute cabana
This cute cabana has a nice layout and was clean. Now the beds and sleeping couch was a different experience. Sleeping there was torture! The mattresses have dents and make noise with every move. It is so loud that you think the bed is falling apart. The sleeping sofa is so bent, it does not fold out straight, that it is hard to find a good sleeping position.

Always a nice stay!
We have stayed at this complex twice now (different units), they were both very nice, clean, well appointed. The communication from property management is also very good. The complex is only a 5 min. Drive to the beach, and walking distance to an ice cream shop, donut shop, coffee shop, and CVS

Out dated
Stayed for an extra long weekend with family and friends. We’ve stayed in a different cottage before and loved it thought we’d stay again and give another cottage a try!

This cottage felt very out dated. The kitchen table had a glass top that would spin. And with kids that gave me anxiety- all they wanted to do was spin it. The bed in the master felt like it was two beds put together and if you’d sit at the edge you would literally slip off due to no support. The front door was extremely hard to close you would have to really push hard to close it. Overall it was just ok - but would have to pass on it in the future, especially if we know the other cottages are nicer.

Gave it 4 STARS only because the pool is super nice!

Cabana Flamingo Review
This was our second stay at this property which we love! These 2 bedroom 2 bath cottages are nicely appointed. We did have a couple of comments. The TV was difficult to operate (both times) but with a call to the property management we were able to clear that up. The Cabana Flamingo in particular could have been a little cleaner though. The living room couch and chair being cloth were visibly dirty and the baseboards noticeably grimy in the bathrooms. But again overall we love the property which we found to be very quiet and we also enjoyed the pool.

Home away from home!
The best place I've ever stayed other than my home. Much better than a hotel. Love all the amenities and extra security. Box fans were a nice surprise. Host was very considerate of our needs, had everything you could
have asked for and more. The cottage was spacious enough and very clean.

Perfect family retreat
Very nice property. Kids loved it. Spacious with a private yard. Management was very responsive and helpful. Made it easy to check in and out.

Satified renter
We came with 3 adults & 3 kids. Enough beds for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed. If I had a recommendation for the owner it would be to upgrade the beds.

Spacious Cabana
Check-in was easy, the rental was very clean and I loved that they have a washer and dryer to clean your clothes and towels after a day at the beach. My only reccomendation would be upgrade your bedding and mattresses. They were a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a great time and felt that the rental had been sanitized and thoroughly cleaned!

No Coffee Table
This unit could be so nice if only the owners gave it a little TLC. We are vacation rental owners ourselves, so we know the little touches matter.

Pros: Comfortable beds, handicap accessible, quiet
Cons: No coffee table, there was a nice little patio, but no landscaping or sitting area with table. Kitchen was adequate, but needs new non-stick pans as these were peeling. Kitchen faucet spray broken, shower heads very old and need updating. Closets stuffed with things so that you have to move mattresses, etc. to unpack and hang clothes. Dresser in guest room is in the closet for some reason.

Cute with a side of furniture replacement needed
Overall it was a good stay....The house was clean, the location was nice and close to a beach. The house is less than 5 minutes to a CVS, Starbucks, and places to eat. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us. My 2 issues were with the bed and couch. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when on it. I moved a pillow and the bed made noise! The bed almost felt as if we were sleeping on a futon mattress. We are in our 40's and sleeping on that type of mattress made for very restless nights and painful mornings. The furniture was also pretty uncomfortable. It looks to be in great shape but when you sit on it, the cushions no longer support as well as they must have when it was newer. I feel like replacing the mattresses and couch would go a long way for this place.

Great vacation rental
We stayed at cabana flamingo for a short 3 night trip and it was great. Nice location easy drive to beach and food. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Fun birthday weekend getaway with friends and family!
Our cabana was clean, roomy, perfect, and PINK! We had such a great time, we decided to extend our stay. It's close to the beach, shops, water park, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Beach House
The location is near places to eat and the beach. It's perfect for the family because there is a pool and you have your own little patio/backyard area.

Best Fishing Weekend
Our Vacation Rental was one of the best experiences we have had in quiet awhile, the Cabana Flamingo was set up perfect for us and our friends, there was plenty of Room, the Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, it was like being at home, we will Definitely be back.

CABANA FLAMINGO TMRRQ203K
We enjoyed our stay at Cabana Flamingo. The housekeeping done before our arrival was dismal. Kitchen appliances looked smeary and unkempt and the floor in the kitchen and living area was dirty. The bed in the master bedroom doesn’t have a spring under the mattress and my hands are bruised from trying to make the bed. There was only about one hand towel. There wasn’t any cleaning rags or cloths. The maintainance man brought me some cloths.. I called about many things that needed repair, I hope that it was appreciated. We are home owners and former landlords so we liked to stay informed about our property. Bottom line: get a spring under the master bedroom bed.

Great For Seniors
Cabana was well appointed. Bathrooms clean and had grab bars. One walk in shower and the other tub shower combo. This was important for me because my 93yr old father needed to be safe while bathing. Great location.

Great vacation cottage
Perfect property for two families on vacation. Convenient to beach access. Clean interior with lots of kitchen amenities. Office staff was very friendly with excellent communication.

perfect size
The cabana was perfect for our long weekend. We did a good bit of cooking and found the kitchen well appointed with dishes,pots, pans and baking dishes Our kids are older with 2 over 6 feet tall. The space was well organized and had 2 cots in addition to a pull out sofa and a bed in both bedrooms. Linens were plentiful and good quality. 3 TVs that I didn't think were would use, bit did as World Cup and US Open were both on. We explored the 2 beaches pointed out at check in, but used the art the Padre National Sea Shore for $10 per car. It was cleaner and not as busy. We really appreciated the alerts shared of things to do in the area and attended a Sea Turtle release. We enjoyed the property as our home base.
