Our trip was fantastic! The location is PERFECT! You literally could not be closer to the beach! The condo was very comfortable! Highly recommend!! And we will return next year.

Great location! Clean condo with updated bathroom. My only disappointment was mattress sank in the middle, had to sleep on edge. Bring extra towels, they only provide 1 per guest.

We had a wonderful stay at El Constante, unit 103, with Padre Escapes from September 18–21, 2025. The ground-floor location was perfect—right off the seawall, facing the beach, and just steps away from the sand. The unit itself was very clean, well prepared, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and easy.

We brought our two dogs, and they loved it just as much as we did! Having quick beach access and the grassy area for the pups was a huge bonus. It made the trip especially enjoyable for our whole family.

We also want to give a special mention to the Padre Escapes team. The reservation and management staff were excellent—Cole was especially helpful and professional. During our stay, we met James from maintenance, and he was so pleasant and accommodating.

Overall, everything about our experience was smooth, relaxing, and fun. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Our 3 night stay in unit #103 was excellent. We had everything we needed in this beachfront condo. The view was great and the condo is well stocked and comfortable. I would suggest a more generous supply of towels, but everything else was great! We will definitely consider a future stay.

Property description was accurate. View was amazing!!
Unfortunately my neighbors in 104 decided to throw a party didn't end until 4:30 a.m. along with a lot of banging when someone was left outside. Saw property damage outside their room the next morning. Next night same thing along with one of the girls knocking at my door at 6:30 a.m asking for a ride home. I didnt know them at all, it was just plain crazy, I did report incidents to the front desk. as a first time visitor it was not the best getaway. I thought for sure after the first night they would be asked to leave or I would have been offered a different unit. This situation should have been handled differently by management. Around 10 am on checkout day a guest walks in (she had the code) she said I just received a text that this room was ready. We had not even checked out!! That was disturbing. HOpefully if i do visit in the future my experience will be different. I hope to receive some sort of compensation for the inconvenience.

The condo on the 1st floor was great! Step out and see the sand and surf, and sit on the chairs on the patio. There is a nice pool in the complex that is taken care of daily.

The condo is wonderful for a couple, and Padre Escapes checks in on you (via text) to make sure everything is going well. When we visit CC again, we will be using Padre Escapes directly.

We had 4 wonderful days & nights on the beach and we loved every minute! Our condo is always a clean and well cared for domain. We feel completely at home and very comfortable. Great a/c and No Bugs! For the beach those are two things that often aren’t true. We love beach combing early each day and that is right out our front door. We also sit on our porch watching the waves and all the other things happening on the beach. We are already planning our next trip to the coast! We stayed at a beachfront condo for a quick family visit to the beach. The view and convenience to the beach were great. We were happier before with other condos at the property though, ours was in need of repairs and replacement of outdoor furniture. The noise on the bottom floor from upstairs was also difficult to tolerate. The space was clean but in need of general maintenance and repair.

Beautiful, well maintained property in & out. Groundskeeper was very kind & helpful, always tending to the beautification of property. Inspectors smiled too, as did a guy in the office who I wish I'd spoken to instead. The girl on 4/28 was kind, but 2 girls I spoke to at arrival 4/26 & departure 4/29 were not. As repeat guests who've worked at hotels, we were very put off by their "service." Their version of professional was stobby annoyance, seeming as though I had no right to ask my questions. I understand policies change, which is why I asked, despite no changes to the contract. Previously, if a room was ready, you could check in early without a fee. I was checking if mine was ready just prior to arrival at 2:30, to avoid receiving notification moments after opting to occupy my kids & dog at the beach. I would've considered the fee if I hadn't been spoken down to when asking, but then didn't trust I wouldn't be swindled out of $25 to just enter my room 15min early. I confirmed on 4/28 with a kind girl that there was still a courtesy noon check out policy & there were 2 $25 extensions after, until being charged a full day at 3. The next day I wanted to confirm the specific time, since I recalled it being 12:59, with $25 fees @ 1 & 2, & full day fee at 3, but the day prior it sounded like noon, or a minute before or after. I didn't want to have my toddler or dog couped up in the car longer than necessary while loading & following th rules. I also wanted to confirm the noon late check out request was noted. The girl I asked sternly told me check out was 11am, & to not be charged we needed to be out by 11:15am. I explained it was different than what I was told the day prior & on previous stays, as my room wasn't booked the day of departure. She softened her response slightly & advised probably 11:30 was okay. Please get all staff & guests on the same page with policy to not hinder guest experience at start & end of stay, as our efforts were well intended, but ill met

With that being said, I did go back and listen to the call on 4/26 and our team member welcomed your questions with an upbeat tone and provided responses that went along with our policies we have in place for early check in. Our policy for late check outs as per our rental agreement states "Check-out time is 11:00am. You may arrange for a late check-out, if available, for a fee of $25/hour. Any guest staying past 2:00pm will be charged for an additional day of rent." Again, thank you for your feedback! We will speak with our team members about the importance of policies and to state them properly. We hope to host you again in the future!

We have stayed at this property for years! Love the location and the condo was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem we had was water seeping under the door and window during a tropical storm. The management gladly gave us extra towels to sop up the water. We also lost cell service and power for about 8 hours.

We have a family of four with two littles. We stayed for a quick trip of 3 nights/4 days. We picked the first floor for the convenience of carrying all the beach toys etc that they would need. However, the people above us were so loud! Between walking, running up the stairs, running from one side to the other side and back again, closing doors, even knocking on the doors; we could hear it all! On the first night, 12:30am we finally had to call the after hours phone number to complain. The after hour person said if the people upstairs didn’t calm down in 30 minutes to call back. By 1:00am they finally calm down/went to sleep. Second night got a little better only because the people up stair calmed down by 12am. The room itself was fine. It had everything we needed. Extra fans in the closet was a bonus to help drown out the noise from upstairs. The one bedroom was hotter than the rest of the space. TV with Roku was great for the kids for the Disney+. The fold out couch was a futon mattress and was ok for my kids but I don’t think an adult would be that comfortable. The beach was super packed at the time we went. We had to wake up early and go down and CLAIM and spot on the beach by 7am. If you waiting past 8:30am good luck trying to get a front row spot/water view. Overall our stay was good with the space and easy access to the beach, but if we didn’t have the inconsiderate people above us we would have had a great trip.

Thank you for the feedback! We apologize for the noisy neighbors upstairs. Fortunately, these are short-term rental properties so the guests change frequently and this is not typically a problem. Thank you for calling our office to let us know about the issue, we are always happy to assist at anytime and make sure that quiet hours are being respected. As Whitecap beach is a public beach it can definitely get pretty busy over the summertime, so we work with several beach rental equipment companies who will stake out a spot for you on the beach and set up canopies, chairs, and everything you could need for a fun beach day! We are glad you had a good trip this time, and we hope to host a great trip for you in the future!

It was a great view and loved the it was pet friendly. Management was friendly and helpful. Checking in and checking out a breeze. The furniture was dirty and uncomfortable. One chair was comfortable. The place needed a refresh and deep cleaning. It needed better pillows on the beds. Kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals.

This was my 6th stay at El Constante, but we have never stayed in 103. Room was dirty, hair in the bath tub, broken coffee table, broken dinner table, couch needs replaced, no cushion in it anymore. Bed room need darker shade to keep light out.

The beach is your front yard and staying at this property. Well some of the features and furnishings were outdated, the property was very clean, the views were spectacular, and you had easy access to everything the island had to offer. I would definitely stay here again!

Our second stay. this time during the memorial holiday. Beachside unit. Awesome View and literally just steps away from the sand and water, very convenient and lovely views. A couple of minor issues. The bathroom was clogged when we checked in( guess the previous renters left us a parting gift. lol ). But maintenance was there within 2 hrs. Only real issue was the noise in the above unit(we were in a bottom unit) There is a curtesy number to call for after hours disturbances, if you want to be a *** about it. We tried not to be a "Karen" and "Dave" and complain but the upstairs renters had 3 kidos and they were running around at 3 am above us. Not cool. So theres that. Otherwise a nice stay. If your looking for a party condo, this is not it. Its very family friendly, which we love and they do have a cop patrolling right out front on foot walking over the whole property by each unit. Felt very safe. But beware there are coyotes in the dunes at night and early morning hours.( we spotted one down the ways a bit one early morning) Our dog smelled them too and would not go near the dunes so be mindful when your out really late or vert early in the morning. It didn't really change our opinion of staying here( we knew about the coyotes before we booked the first time) We had a great time.

The accommodations were clean & comfortable at a beautiful & convenient location. We loved the room's decor! The staff was very helpful & friendly, and the pool was a great temperature. My only recommendation is adding a secondary lock for the safety of small children & smart dogs, since the door handle lever is easy to open from inside.

We loved the ability to walk right out to the beach. Condo was clean and pleasant. The only thing I didn't love were the spotlights coming off the building... They kind of were a bit much when trying to enjoy the beauty of the nite.

The couch and chair need to be replaced. I would not sit in the chair as it was disgusting! The air conditioner dripped water and was noisy. Anytime I cooked anything, the smoke detector would go off! The mattress needs replacing also. The refrigerator is also very noisy. The location and view are magnificent!

Stayed 2 nights for a solo trip and it was fantastic. Easy access to the beach, lovely porch to sit on and ruminate as well, everyone was friendly, kind, socially distanced... The room had everything I needed and was never lacking for anything. I'd read the previous reviews about too much light in the bedroom (it wasn't bad at all ..when you're tired, it doesn't matter!) and the noise from upstairs (that WAS a little bit of a bother at times, but the objective was to be outside, not inside all the time, right?) but hey, its an affordable beach stay with great waterfront access. AND important -- it was CLEAN. I've been in many hotels that are less clean, so this was great! Pretty perfect all around.

It was fine but the bedroom needs room darkening curtains or shades. It was so bright we hung 2 blankets and 2 beach towels over the windows. We don’t need “black out curtains,” but it was so bright in there from we guess the pool area that it was like being in Vegas. But otherwise the condo was great!
And the remotes were co fusing. Try to read the instructions... the remotes were not the correct ones.

Me and my husband stayed for two nights on a Babymoon. It was wonderful! We watched the sun rise, enjoyed being right on the beach, and loved the heated pool to relax in! The front desk gave us great recommendations for dinner. We ate one night at Docs, the food was amazing, Service was good, and the sunset view was spectacular! Our room was good, the bed not great, and there was a hole around the bathtub shower, but it had everything we needed. I would recommend getting a canopy or putting your car on the beach in front of you early in the morning so you have a front beach spot. Make sure you bring things like coffee filters and wine opener just in case. Over all I would highly recommend staying here and wish I was still there. Also, very family friendly.

I liked the place, specially the view. The problems I found was: 1) hottub was not working for a couple of days 2) my neighbor from room on top of mine had small kids that would make a lot of noise the whole day. I complained to front office and in person and it didn't help.

This property was all about the location for us. We loved being ocean front, there’s never a bad day on the beach. We are accustomed to a king size bed, but the condo we rented only had a queen, but we made that sacrifice for the view. The living room furniture was not very comfortable, the fabric needs a good cleaning & you would be very disappointed if you had 2 adults sleeping on the sofa pull out bed. We had issues with the cable television, our entire stay (4 months) we had to constantly unplug to reset both cable boxes on a regular basis. The property management had the cable company do a service call & they changed a connection, but blamed the issues on the construction company doing renovations on the complex. The service rep said they had cut the main cable & repaired it, the service call didn’t resolve the problems, we just dealt with it our entire stay. The property was kept in great shape, the maintenance man did a good job. The property management reps were also good, very attentive to our needs. We would stay at this complex again.

We really enjoyed our time at El Constante 103. The condo was immaculate and became the landing place for the remainder of my family who were in a condo upstairs. In addition, the pool was extremely nice and convenient. Our only complaint was the noise in the room from people walking up and down the stairs just outside the bedroom window. All in all, it was a wonderful family vacation.

I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to airmailing on a porch and look at the beach. The inside was clean and welcoming, and was spacious enough for our young family. I would recommend brining your own pillows ours had an odor that was unpleasant, otherwise a nice stay and we would consider returning.

The location is excellent, it is located directly on the beach as well as being located close to restaurants and is within 20 minutes of Port Aransas. The grounds are well kept and the Condo 103 was very nicely decorated and had all the necessities that we needed. There was only one downside, the people up stairs were jumping up and down or throwing each other on the floor until 2AM in the morning every night. I am not sure if this is all of the condo's or this one but if you are a light sleeper you might want to consider staying somewhere else. If you don't mind all the noise or can sleep through noise then you should be good!

Sheets were not clean and smelled bad. Water stains on ceiling cause possible mold. Bad for people with allergies. Great location and amenities.

Nice place. Great location. Would definitely stay there again. Only complaints were 1. Bed was uncomfortable-needs to be upgraded 2. When refrigerator compressor turns on, gives a loud humm. Frig needs to be repaired or replaced.

Overall an enjoyable stay. I still think the property management team has quite a bit of room for improvement though.

The good: Location, location, location. It cannot be beat. Easy check in. Pleasant staff. Most rooms have been upgraded to a certain degree.

Needs to improve: Light outside bedroom in pool area shines into bedroom ALL night. Need better curtains. For guests staying on second floor, there needs to be some sort of notice about stomping around. The kid above us was doing wind sprints for the better part of 2 hours starting at 0600. While rooms have been updated in some aspects, bathroom fixtures look the same as they did during my stays in the 90’s. Shower head had no pressure.

We've rented at this location before but in an other unit. We found the unit clean, the staff was helpful and the location was good with views of the Gulf and beach. The main complaint is that the bed and bedding were subpar as were the towels. Would rent from El Constante again but not unit 103.

Good size condo for 2 people. Views and distance to the beach, could not be matched. With construction in the pool area, it was a bit messy, but staff did their best to keep it up. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. The mildew, mold smell was extremely strong. Made the condo feel not quite clean.
LWondering why the overhead fans are not left on? When we owned in Port A we were required to keep the fans on 24/7. Need at least one cookie sheet, and maybe a tray, pitcher for drinks? Major issue discovered the last day was dishwasher was not secured to the cabinet or floor. When I pulled out the filled top rack, the whole dishwasher fell forward. I reported this to the office. A small child could be greatly injured.
Staff very accommodating, friendly. Love the free beach towels.

We loved the view from this vacation rental! Our condo was clean, yet a little outdated. Could use a new microwave because our microwave was rusted on the inside. We loved that this condo is located directly in front of the beach. You can't beat the view. The pool was also really great! We saw them cleaning the pool every morning. We loved the facilities!

There was no hot water in the kitchen sink.
The dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet.
The refrigerator made very loud noise when the compressor turned on probably because it was old.
The bright outside lights made it difficult to sleep in both rooms.
