The rental was exactly as described. We loved being ocean/gulf front view. This was our second trip here but first for this unit. The views were amazing and peaceful. We needed a little relaxation before the hustle and bustle of Christmas. We only had a couple of minor issues but they were addressed by someone on site. We would most definitely stay here again.

This was our fifth stay at El Constante, the fourth time in this unit. It fits the two of us perfectly, is always clean and comfortable. The easy beach access is exactly what we were looking for. It's well stocked with dishes and bedding, and the furniture is moderately comfortable. Our only complaint or request would be to repair or replace the bed frame as the slightest movement leads to creaks, pops and shakes. Even this is not enough to keep us away, and we have already booked our week in 105 for next year.

My husband and I annually make a trip to Corpus. We always stay at El Constante. This is our first time in Unit 105. This unit is dog-friendly and I'll be honest, I was curious if there would be hair own the furniture and have an odor of dog - neither of which were apparent. Unit was clean.
We spend most of our time outside enjoying the sound of the water, watching the sunrises and sunsets! The rocking chairs were nice, easy to get in and out of. The extra added treat - chair cushions were provided! Thank you. The unit was clean, plenty of dishes, cooking items and utensils. We use an espresso maker at home, that being said, my husband did enjoy the opportunity to make single cups coffee on demand in addition to making a full pot of coffee in the morning. We don't watch much TV - just a heads up - there is a ROKU box hooked up and it apparently loses connectivity. We discovered that all you need to do to reconnect is to disconnect the cables at the box and reconnect and it resets. Problem resolved! Overall - great visit.

The view is wonderful! The condo was perfect for us. The main issue we had with the room was the stove. The front right burner would not adjust and stayed on high. The pans need to be replaced. The dog hair on the furniture and dogs barking was bothersome! Would be better if the rooms were pet free. Overall the room was very enjoyable for us!

Our only complaint was the condition of the grill to the a.c. vent. It's corroded and very dusty. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, everything was great!!!

We stayed in a great room on the first floor. That meant no stairs for me to climb. We were there 2 nights and we really enjoyed it! The beach was near and we could hear the waves. I can’t wait to go again. The apartment was clean and comfortable and I don’t have one negative thing to say.

Our experience was almost perfect. We visited Corpus to handle some heavy family business and wanted a stay on the beach to help decompress. This unit was perfect for that. We had some issues with the wifi and guest services had someone out within the hour to help fix it which was awesome. The only thing that made this unit less than perfect was the bed. It was super creaky and moved quite a bit every time we’d roll over so we didn’t get super restful sleep. This could be an easy fix for the unit owner though.
Other than that minor issue, it was a great unit and El Constante & Padre Escapes were great to us.

We always love staying at El Constante. We were a little disappointed in the room. It's very expensive to stay in the front, which is what we love, but not worth the price. Our dishwasher had standing water in it that smelled like rotten eggs, we killed several very large roaches, and there were flying bugs in the bathroom. We had no water pressure in the bathroom sink or the shower. I just wanted to make you aware. There were also people letting their dogs use the grass right in front of our room and not picking it up. The staff is always so nice and helpful, but the room wasn't good this time.

We were extremely satisfied with our accommodations. We are glad we brought our portable wagon to carry all our provisions as the condos on the front of the building doesn’t have direct access. But we preferred the amazing view front our porch. Excellent employees, very responsive and friendly. We would definitely book with them again.

My husband and I came for an anniversary getaway. We have stayed at El Constante before but a different unit. We chose this unit (105) as it accepts dogs too. When we arrived and entered, everything in this unit was very nice. The unit was clean and welcoming. All the info and items we needed (parking form, kitchen needs, trash bags, towels) were laid out and organized well. The unit is nicely decorated and very pleasant. The only thing I wished there had been was maybe some TV trays or a couple of end tables by the rocker recliners. We used the chairs from the dining table as tables by those chairs. But not a complaint at all-just a suggestion. Also, the owners provided nice rockers on the patio. Easy chairs to get in and out of. Really enjoyed this unit and will come back. The company prepping the unit did a fabulous job!

We have stayed at El Constante many times. This was by far the worst experience, in regards to the rooms we rented. They were dirty, unkept, the toilet paper holder was broken off, the trash can lid didn’t work. After being there for 15 minutes, our baby’s feet were black from walking around in the room. The dishwasher smelt like a dead animal in it. Simple things that needed to be fixed but are not. For the price they charge in the prime season, they sure should have this place looking better. The view and beach access made it worth it, but the rooms need serious work. Would love to submit pictures.

This is our second stay at El Constante and was a good experience overall. The property location is great and the surf facing room is also very nice. The unit was clean and sufficiently appointed. Our mattress was a little uncomfortable but not sure if it was worn or if the mattress topper was just too firm. We had heavy footed upstairs neighbors who seemed to never sleep but that is a chance you take getting a lower unit.

Condo is right on the beach and also right next to the resort pool. Condo itself was clean and had mostly everything we needed. Parking was tricky some times due to the condos that face the ocean don’t have actual parking spaces so some times we had to park farther back but it wasn’t terrible. The grounds also have a lot of grass areas for pets. The only reason u gave 4 starts instead of 5 for overall satisfaction is because I think for the money being spent to stay, the condos could be updated with newer appliances, furniture, etc.

We were able to easily exchange our towels etc for fresh ones each day. There was a big closet for hanging clothing with shelves in the bedroom. The bed seemed very small--not sure it was a queen; perhaps the info said double??? and I missed it. The pillows weren't very comfortable. The location was wonderful. We had one of the two story condos the past year, but it has become more difficult for two 80's to shlept all our belongings up the narrow stairs. The one bedroom was quite adequate and we did not experience any noise from above us. The two TV's worked and had adequate choices. The refrig was spacious. The right front burner on the range was an issue--uneven. I would suggest to run some cleaner in the dishwasher. It had an unpleasant odor as did the sink in the bathroom. It looked as if something like dental floss was in the bathroom sink drain. There was also a smell from the drain. If one enjoys a tub bath, there was no stopper. Bathroom did have a very nice closet with several shelves to hold makeup and many other items. The vanity also had roomy drawers. The top right drawer, however, did not open or I just didn't know how to open. Except for the minor suggestions, the property was very clean. Loved sitting in the rocking chairs and people watch. It was unbelievably windy with high waves which caused water to come up to the concrete barrier during high tide during the night, however, a grader was out early in the morning to take care of eliminating this water by draining it into the Gulf. The beach is a good one.

We had a great time at this little gem of a condo. The direct access and view to the beach is perfect. Access to the community pool is steps away from patio. The property is kept immaculately cleaned all 24/7. There is even a security guard that patrols property at night. Highly recommend and will stay here again. We enjoyed our little getaway to the beach at 105. This is our second year in a row (not the same room) staying here and have enjoyed the beach being walking distance. The only downfall we had was arriving a day before a tropical storm was set to hit. We were out of power for almost a full day so that put a damper in our stay. We had to request for more towels due to the strong winds pushing the rain into our room but understandably no one could help with that until the storm passed. We still plan to be back again next year with the hopes of no tropical storms!

Unit #105 is in the PERFECT location! It is:
1.closest to the stairs to the beach 2. right by the foot sand shower 3. neighbors the pool entry gate, 4. has a view of the vehicle entry to the beach 5. is one unit away from the parking lot (still bring a wagon). Very clean (except from all the sand WE failed to wash off, noted for next time). We felt like we were right in the heart of where everyone was driving to. Memorial Day weekend was too short. Definitely would book again!

Awesome place, staff and location. This year was probably the longest period of cold weather but next year maybe the warmest hopefully. Condo was nicely equipped, and grounds have a table area at end of parking lot for rinsing off cars and we use to clean fish because we catch a heck of a lot of fish. Love the Winter Texan vacationers we meet every year as well. Our 5th year best property on the seawall!

Love this particular condo-it is next to the entrance to the pool on one side, it faces the water, & it has rocking chairs and cushions outside to relax in while closing your eyes and just listening to the waves.

Location and view were outstanding. People in the office were very polite and friendly. Pullout sofa was past it's prime and not very comfortable. Wouldn't want any adults sleeping on it. Unit was mostly clean but a few small areas could use some attention (cobwebs etc.).

Best location ever - The beach is right in front of the condo. There is a small area of grass and then a small boardwalk area and then steps down to the beach. Parking was good - we were always able to get a close parking spot. Beach is beautiful with wide area of sand, which was pretty clean. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the late afternoon through dark just watching the people. Pool was wonderful to cool off in. Condo is perfect for two or two with children. Condo has chairs out on patio, but don't forget your beach chairs, as we did, to sit on the beach.

My husband and I rented this condo at the beginning of the summer! We could not have asked for a more perfect location for our beginning of the summer beach get-a-way! The condo is right on the beach with an incredible view of the ocean. It is on the ground floor so NO stairs to climb! We LOVED being able to walk out in the morning, set up our beach canopy, and enjoy the day--especially since we could quickly return to the condo for cold drinks, snacks, and restroom breaks! The condo was clean, well-supplied with cookware (even though we ate out!), and had a coffee maker! We both slept very well on the bed! We will DEFINITELY rent again!!! Thanks!

Great place to stay! Right on the clean and nicely maintained beach with an unobstructed view of the gulf. The condo was clean and nicely decorated in a fun beach vibe, even down to the dinnerware.

The purpose of our trip was to celebrate my husband’s birthday. #105 was the perfect beachfront location. Upon arrival, friendly staff greeted us and quickly checked us in. Property was in good and clean condition. Only problem was that on our 2nd night stay, the AC was not cooling properly in the bedroom making it an uncomfortable night. Overall we had a great stay watching the sunset, moonlight shining on the ocean and best of all the sunrise. I will definitely come back to El Constante. Please fix the AC.

Thank you for your feedback, great to hear you enjoyed your stay. When the AC repair tech came out that evening he recharged the Freon and applied a special dye to check for any leaks. They made a follow-up trip several days later to double check for leaks and address any additional items that may have needed attention. The AC is running great, hope we see you back again soon!

Recently stayed in this unit for 4 nights with my daughter and two granddaughters, ages 4 and 7 and we had a terrific time! We were greeted by the most beautiful double rainbow on our first afternoon! We never turned on the TV the entire stay. We walked and explored both ends of the beach each day. All the amenities are provided. The clean beach was out our front door with the ocean waves starting and ending our days. A wonderful gem of discovery for us with a lasting memory!

We go to El Constante almost every year due to the cleanliness, environment, and safety. It is always such a great experience. We have the comforts of home but with paradise as you walk out the door. Would not stay anywhere else!

Very enjoyable but the bed was very hard. Some of the pans are very old and need to be replaced. We read other reviews online so we took our own pans and a mattress pad which helped immensely! We will return and recommend this room.

As the owners, we wanted to let you know that we read the reviews and respond as quickly as possible to your comments. We were just down at the condo this past week, and replaced the old cookware as well as added a mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable for our guests who prefer a softer mattress. We plan to continue to do additional improvements to the unit during the slower winter months, so come see us in 2020 to see what we've done!

Overall, pretty good. The only negatives were the bed was rock hard and if you are going to cook bring you some good quality skillets because the ones in the kitchen are old and cheap and everything sticks. Beautiful view and excellent customer service.

Was really looking forward to staying here. Absolutely amazing beachfront view. Turned in to nightmare really quick. Shower handle was broken, so there was no hot water use, one of the chairs out front was broken so my wife and I could not sit out together and enjoy the views. Bed was so incredibly uncomfortable, felt like we were sleeping on concrete with plastic covering. Thankfully the property management got us switched to a better unit. Not beachfront, which was disappointing, but at least it was comfortable.

Nicely furnished. Walk right out to the beach. The only downside was the hide a bed was pretty uncomfortable and the extra pillows had a musty smell. Overall great stay though.
Note to owners: The water pressure in the kitchen is low, the mat at the front door is coming apart and has nails poking out.

Magnificent view of the beach. Great location to surf fishing and resturants. Condo recently remodeled. Everything in almost new condition. Good bed. No noise from any neighbors. Friendly helpful desk staff. Maintenance showed up right away when requested baking soda to address fish/bait smell in fridge. With Texas open beaches, the public also likes the beach, right by the water, in front of condos. Beach is about 200 yards deep between condo & water.

Condo is located at awesome location ,patio view of ocean and sunrise is amazing. Condo was clean. Bed is firm. One best thing is easy access to the beach via vechilcle if have bunch of things you wanna drive down and drop off. Also some tasty resturants 5 mins away too.

We have stayed at El Constante many times and this was the first time we were disappointed. Our condo was not up to past standards. The sheets were clean but the rest of the bedding wasn't. We had to sleep on the sofa bed because the main bed was broken. This is the first time we have been less than fully satisfied
