Cozy, but a couple of things...

I enjoyed staying at El Constante, as always, but the outlets by the island in this unit weren't working. Also, the bedroom could have be benefitted from blackout curtains or shades to keep out glare from the pool area lights.

Great spot right on the beach

This condo has amazingly close access to the beach. The walk is so short that you can spend the day on the beach but retreat to the condo for bathroom breaks and meals. The walk in shower is really nice! Clean, comfortable and with the office staff on site to help with anything this place is perfect. The pool is amazing as well. We loved our visit!

Vacation trip

I loved the location of the rental. Very clean/ very affordable. Would recommend it to everyone. The only thing i was disappointed in was that they didn't have a ramp to the beach area. I had very enjoyable time other than that.

Nice little unit

The apartment was very clean and all the furniture in great condition. AC and heat worked fine, and the king size bed is very comfortable. The location is wonderful - just steps away from the beach. We appreciated being able to bring our pup. It's small, and the photos make it look a little more spacious than it actually is, but it is just right for two adults and a dog for a few days. We could have used an extra towel or two in the bathroom.

Easy beachfront access

The condo is located directly on the beach with an awesome boardwalk for long walks. Very relaxing. The attendants helped us figure out how to work our TV and were prompt and lovely.

Disappointed

We come here every year, love the property being so close to the beach and water. The people are friendly and generally very helpful. This year we weee disappointed in the condo we stayed in. We loved the location of it, but the unit was not clean upon our arrival. The floors were not swept, the counters and tables were not wiped down. When using the shower, water ran out onto the floor, when we reported it we were told someone would come look at it, they never did. This was the first time in our many stays that we had issues.

July Summer 4 day stay

Clean nice comfortable stay. The platform bed was a hazard. It stuck out to far causing knee & shin bruises.
Smaller platform that would not cause a tripping hazard would be great.

El Constante 108

We've stayed at El Constante for many years, and always enjoy our stays. The staff is always courteous and friendly. I was a little disappointed at our last stay because they wanted to charge us for our ESA Animal. He travels everywhere with us, including to El Constante for years with no issue. I received a call a few days before our arrival letting me know that Service Animals are the only pets that do not charge a pet deposit for. I understand the difference between a service animal and an emotional support animal, but I always list him on the contract with no issues, until this last visit. I was upset that they decided to call at the last minute to let me know I would need to pay an additional $150 non refundable fee to bring my dog. The woman who called to let me know was very nice, but it was too late to cancel and get our money back. We ended up leaving a day early because of this.

Good location

King bed was a tad soft but a ok. lots of pillows & blankets available. Sofa was a bit worn down - not real comfy to sit on. Kitchen well equipped. Liked the walk in shower-very convenient & e-z in & out. Great location for pool/beach access. Would stay again

The stove and microwave ��

Love come here.
Have for a few years now, new favorite place. The condo overall is nice.
First time renting this particular one. Only complaint is the stove seems like it’s from 1985. The burners do not set level on it, the trays underneath seem to be the wrong size so they lean and makes cooking interesting. Its so close to the wall scared to use two of them, heat/grease splatter.
The microwave is so close to the wall you can only open the door about a quarter of the way. Hard to get a plate in/out.

Construction from above

Noise from condo above started Wednesday, sounded like heavy furniture being moved, Thursday from pertruding above balcony furniture and stuff came over and down to our patio area. Had to stay off our patio area and we felt restricted from existing our condo. Very noisy. Friday noise was more intense and major construction material came from above patio: cabinets, sheet rock, sinks, etc. Existing our condo even more restrictive.

September 2023 2 night visit

Condo was nice and clean - however we could not figure out how to get the TV on in the bedroom and had to get someone to assist us with the TV in the living room area also. Minor issues that I'm sure someone more electronically savvy could have figured out.

Great location! Awesome condo!

My only complaint was the pool. It was not clean at all and we did not use it after the first day. We realized the next morning it had not been clean and looked like it was never cleaned while there. The aparment itself was spotless, smelled amazing upon arrival. Great place to stay and would give them another chance.

Mini Vacation

Spent a few days at El Constante just my husband and I and our daughter before she went back to college. This was our third stay at El Constante and we continue to enjoy our stay each and every time. The rooms are always clean and nice. The beach is so convenient and clean, just get there early to get a spot. We look forward to our next visit.

Bucks moon 2023

On arrival, our room smelled moldy. I started to look for a source and found mop in pantry smelled. I washed mop and left outside to dry. I changed the AC filter but smell was persistent. Honestly, it smelled like skunk. I purchased candle to help with smell. The kitchen sink had corn hair and greasy. Neighbors upstairs cooked and smell somehow penetrated to our room.

I have stayed at this place for many years because I love the location. Hoping there are changes in cleaning crew and overall image of El constante.

Nice Room, Good Access

Very convenient access to the beach and the pool with the gate entrance just next to this room. The room itself is done well like most we have stayed at here.
Only complaint is the bed is a shin buster since it is a king size bed in a very small room and has a border that sticks out that will smack your shin if you are not careful.
Still a great property and would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful Propoery

We stayed at this condo for three days in May of 2023. The condo is spacious, nicely decorated and updated, as well as very clean. We really enjoyed being on the ground floor with easy access to the beach. The pool is very nice and the complex is well kept. Overall this was a very relaxing vacation.

Wonderful Stay!

We only came for a few days but staying at the El Constante was wonderful. Our condo was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and everything worked great! Being on the beach and watching sunrises and sunsets was the best part. Everyone was very friendly too! Met some really nice people from all over the US.

October getaway

This was our second stay at this unit, our third at El Constante. The location can't be beat! Staff is always friendly and helpful. This unit could have used a more thorough dusting though. The fan in the living room was extremely dusty and a few other areas needed a more thorough cleaning. But overall, we would definitely choose again!!

Loooved Our Stay

The bed was so comfortable. Location was great. The pool was so nice and the hot tub was no joke. We had a small issue that was fixed right away. Communication was excellent. I’m looking forward to booking again in the spring. If I may, I’d suggest new cookware.

Wonderful vacation

This was our first visit to Padre Island, and we were so pleased to find this location. When we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness around the pool area. Our room was comfortable and had a great location. We had one incident with the a/c stopping. We called, and had someone come to the room within 10 minutes to solve the problem. Only issue with the room was the bed frame of the king bed. The way it is made, the frame is larger than the mattress. I hit my shins repeatedly. I did report after my stay, hopefully it will be corrected.
We stayed 10 nights, and enjoyed the entire trip. There were plenty of places to eat and shop in close proximity, we did not need to leave the island.

Rude and filthy...why pay a cleaning fee?

$300/night w $100+ cleaning fee for a filthy room (all sorts of garbage on the floor...look behind the TV once a year) w 40 year-old TV equipment that doesn't work, dead batteries, etc. THEN I called and was told by your answering service nobody is there and then they started screaming at me and hung up. Typical Corpus. Monday morning a guest left their garbage next to our car and it sat there dripping until we left Tuesday at Noon despite a cleaning crew???? 2 towels for $300/night? Ice trays ice maker in 2021? Too bad I can't give a zero score for property management.

Close To Beach

I was excited to stay here unfortunately the property did not have the things displayed in the picture. The south was very stained the floors were dirty the bathroom was not clean. The appliances need attention there’s a hole in the wall in the closet. Too noisy, Overall I don’t think I would stay there again

Nice Stay

This unit faces the dunes and is right around the corner from the beach. There is construction right now, so you cannot park in the lot right in front of the unit, so you will need to bring your luggage around. Actually is worked out nicely as you didn't have cars in the lot to block view. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The unit is small, but perfect for a couple or small family. The pool area is really nice, and even though it was cold out, we could still swim in the heated pool, and hot tub. Everything was clean and maintained. It is an older location, but has had some nice updates.

Nice condo

Great location. We have stayed at El Constante many times but this was the first time in #108. No complaints. For a condo on the beach the price was right.

Bathroom shower glass sliding door was broken, only half the door is there and they hung a shower rod and curtain above it. Bed was comfy. They need to

Convenient Location, Needs a Little Work

Overall, this is a good apartment at El Constante: the place is clean, it's really close to the beach, it has most of what you'd need for a comfortable stay. A couple gripes, though: the floors had a sandy film on them (including the shower), the shower door was hard to roll and it came off track, the doors were very squeaky which was a challenge with a sleeping baby, and the kitchen faucet did not have hot water for some reason. And this is not specific to this property, but the beach was crowded and full of people who play their music over each other and park their trucks all over the place. I never felt relaxed here.

Perfect Spot for A Condo!

Clean and nicely maintained condo with easy access to the beach.
You only take a few steps from the front door and you are either able to walk the sea wall or the actual shore. Pool is around the corner!!
The only negative about this condo is that there is a bright lamp RIGHT OUTSIDE the bedroom window. We like a completely dark room to sleep. Woke up at 3am thinking it was 8 am because of the light coming through the blinds. Lots of stickers in the grass, if you are bringing a fur baby.
Also check the bedding. Found plastic between sheets and comforter did NOT smell fresh. Minor details compared to the fantastic points to this condo!

Wonderful Beach front condos

We have stayed at El Constante condos many times. It's right on the beach and there is vehicle access to drive your car or truck on the beach. The condos are always clean and have kitchens with everything you need to make meals. There are BBQ grills in the complex for grilling and a heated pool with Jacuzzi if you don't want to swim in the Gulf. We highly recommend El Constante. You won't be disappointed. Chuck & Tia

Great location!

This was my 10th trip and my new husbands 1st visit. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommends this location. All condos are different, done have more upgrades and bigger beds do make sure and ask. Our specific room was fair with an older look and broken mini blinds. There were lots of cigarette buds on our patio which i had to clean up when we arrived and hair in bathtub from previous occupants. Not as spotless as I would have liked. We did get a nice care package thanking my husband for his Army service which made up for everything else.
