Escaped the cold spell at home
Loved the location just steps from the beach. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed was comfy and although we didn’t use the pool area due to cooler temperatures it looked inviting. We stay here every year & love the place & location. However, we may be looking for another place. The condo wasn’t very clean. The mirror in the living room still had hand little kids prints and smudge all over it, the stands in living room had food stuck on them, and the vent by the recliner was nasty. Wasn’t cleaned very well at all. In addition, they used to text and let us know when the room was ready. That didn’t happen this time. In fact I had to call and check at 3:00. PET Friendly Constante Condominium
We really had a great time staying at our Constante condo. It is perfect since it is pet friendly. Our small dog Luna had access to the grassy area to lay and watch the beach as we sat next to her. We enjoyed our walks on the boardwalk too. Family and friends rented six other condos. One other condo was with their dog. ElConstante stay
We have booked through Padre Escapes numerous times. We would not choose any other. The experience is always positive. Our units are always clean upon arrival. Any issues we might have are quickly responded to and resolved. Staff is always friendly.

Perfect Padre Island Rental
Could not have enjoyed our vacation stay more. Location was private and off the main roads. Condo had everything stocked and available. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Steps to the beach.
Unit 115. Great location. We enjoy easy access to parking and the beach. Suggestions -replace the mattress and the tub. The mattress is lumpy. The tub is old, has a crack with tape over it and it is very stained.
We needed the laundry room but no signage indicating where it is. We finally found it back in the corner behind the office. A sign on the front corner right if the office would be nice indicated where it is. The water output in the first washer doesn’t work as well as the second one. The dryer worked great.
Grass area beside beach - I removed a bunch of stickers.
Overall, we would stay again. Pet friendly units are appreciated. Staff in office were exceptional with booking and onsite questions.

Good time at the beach
The unit was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a short stay. It could have worked for a longer stay as well. Almost Perfect
Booking, check in and check out was effortless. Clear and concise communication also delivered timely via email and or text. 5 star.
On another note, we did leave our ice chests and other sandy items on our porch both evenings. Our neighbor did the same but to our surprise our ice chest were gone Sunday morning. Beach front get away
The rental unit was great! A very quiet location with a nice front porch with a beach view. Very clean, and the decor was nice and beachy. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the nice pool area. Great stay for multiple family vacation
We stayed in 114-116 and each condo was great. Only
Thing I heard complained about was the sofa mattresses not being comfortable but that’s it. Other than that,

Water leak in bedroom
We were told that there was a previous water leak but it was fixed. So we were ok with renting this unit. We woke up to water leaking with a fast drip leaving a large water puddle on the floor. It had been raining hard and we took a video of it leaking from the window. Padre Escapes will not give you a discount from the inconvenience of the leak. They will just ask if you need more towels to soak up the water and if you want maintenance to check it but it had already stopped raining so there was no point. They didn’t offer to switch us to another unit either. There is a very apparent awful smell in the living area coming from the a/c vent behind the recliner chair in the corner. Great location, ok condo

Very easy access to pool and beach but no frills
This condo was very easy access to both the pool and the beach. You were about 200 yards away from the sand and it was right by the pool, but did not face the pool so you did not hear noise from the pool. You could however hear footsteps constantly from the neighbors upstairs. Not sure if they were heavy footed or the insulation is weak here, but this was the most annoying part of the trip. The condo is no frills, but proximity to everything is nice. It could use a deep cleaning in the bathroom and shower handles, vents, and on some appliances. Also needed a cookie pan for the oven. Super Summer Suite
Overall the unit was satisfactory and a definite return to property for another Padre Island escape. When you first arrive and ‘inspect’ what you have rented it passes. After a day you start to notice little things that could be improved upon. After all, the unit was rented not to be stayed in ALL day but a stopping point from being at the beach ALL day! Great quiet beach getaway
Condo was clean, great location (could see the ocean!). Beds were good. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was nice. Our front porch was out of the wind and in the shade most of the time so very nice. We had a senior dog with us and he was also quite comfortable. Decent
This was a nice location with good amenities nearby. Great access to beach and the beach is very nice. We loved the heated saltwater pool and hot tub. Plenty of kitchen wares to making cooking easy. Parking was convenient as was check-in/checkout. Good communication from property management. But this unit needs some updating. Particularly in the bathroom. The shower head was underwhelming and felt more like a sink faucet. There was rust and other problems with the tub/shower liner that should be addressed. The shower curtain was awful. Bedroom fan needs to be balanced. There were some spots that had clearly not been cleaned, but was not worth contacting the office about, we cleaned some of them ourselves. Like the description says, this does not face the ocean, but is very close. Overall we were happy. Relaxing get away
We stayed here two nights and enjoyed every second. It was really cold and windy so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach but it was nice to be so close. It was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Bad experience be careful when arriving

Nice setup and love Dog Friendly

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at El Constantine. Being able to sit on the porch and listen to the waves was a dream come true. Great Location with a nice view of the dunes
My wife and I needed a beach fix so we booked a three night stay. Sweet 16 on the beach
My husband and our 2 teenagers stayed at this condo to celebrate their June birthdays. (Sweet sixteen & our son turned 19) Since this property only sleeps 4 we brought a little tent we set up in the living room so our daughter would have her own privacy and our son slept on the sofa bed. After searching and searching for a place that had great proximity to the beach without a hefty price tag AND allowed our pet...this was where we landed. We had a blast. We jeeped the beaches...(the boys each have jeeps)...went horseback riding (horses on the beach is just a couple miles away) and spent the days soaking up the sun and surf and the nights walking for miles. We brought all our own food to cook right there in the I don't really have any advice on restaurants...but for us it was perfect. Rejuvenation

Not so good
Too much work going on and no tidy up after work done. Dangerous for children I had a two inch nail through my shoe scraping between two toes. Reported to the reception staff but NO manager contacted me to see how I was. The condo above us was having major works done so was very noisy. In a 37 day stay not once was the flat cleaned or bed linen changed. Inlike previous years where flat and linen was cleaned every week on a long stay. Affordable Pet Friendly Condo in a desirable area!
Updated condo thats within view of the beach that's also pet friendly! This was our first time staying at El Constante and we really enjoyed it! We stayed in 115- while you could see a portion of the beach from the front porch, it wasn't an ideal view since the condo parking spaces obscured the view most of the time. The view wasn't worth the extra money, next time we will either stay in 'beach front' or do without completely. M The beach was an easy walk. Every single employee I dealt with extremely pleasant and helpful. Other folks mentioned they were particular about towels, but we didn't experience this at all. We had plenty of towels in our condo and I was able to change them out at the office as needed. There were two things I wish were slightly different; that there was a double/queen bed in the bedroom. Our unit had two twins, with a pullout twin underneath one. The couch converted to a full size sleeper, but it wasn't as comfortable. So me and my husband resorted to sleeping in separate beds. Also, I wish there was more dog waste stations (bags and disposal). We only spotted one on the beach front side. The only other downside is that the internet service was completely unusable the first two days we were there. The beach was very crowded, so I'm assuming it had to do with the amount of people using it. After folks started clearing out on Sunday it started working fine. Family vacation
Although our first condo 203 was a disaster (falling apart) management was able to move us to two other condos that were nice, comfortable and clean. Very happy to report management was helpful in righting the situation and saved our vacation.
