Dog breeds not permitted at El Constante due to HOA guidelines: Pit Bull-type, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Wolf-dog hybrid, or Husky-type (including Siberian)
Pet Fees: For stays of 1–29 days, the pet fee is $100 per pet plus a $50 cleaning fee, and for stays of 30+ days, the pet fee is $300 per pet plus a $100 cleaning fee
For long-term stays, mail may be forwarded to the property address and retrieved from the front office during the guest’s stay

Fall Break Family Fun
The place was perfect for our family of three. We didn't need a big space as we spent most of our time at the beach and with friends. My only complaint is that the people staying next to us smoked outside their place and we could smell it coming and going and sometimes in our place.

El Constante #119
Condo was as described. We had stayed there several yrs ago when we had our black lab, being as it is a pet friendly unit. We decided to stay there again even though we no longer have our beloved fur baby. Bed was comfy, extra pillows available. Love having access to the closet for extra room and storage. Really like you can now check in (and check out) online and get door access code, rather than stand in line at office to get physical key, as was the case yrs ago. 2 minor issues... we had NO hand towels for the bathroom in unit and when my husband went to office to get one they gave
him a hard time. Also, trash disposal did not work. It attempted to engage when we tried it once, then just did not respond at all. So we were sure not to put anything down there. Love the location of the complex, so nice to get up and walk the beach with a big cup of coffee and wait for the sun to rise. Also location of this unit is farther away from the pool area, so none of that noise.

Great location with Beds that need new mattresses
The beach front room was not what I consider beach front. I had to be outside my room to see the beach. The room could use a refresh. It’s showing its age. I would recommend this property but would suggest bringing a mattress pad and some throw blankets

Quick getaway
I love booking with padre escapes however this was the first room I was disappointed in. The room was dinghy the couch was dirty and one of the dining room chairs was broken luckily no one fell.I do highly recommend el constante though it's very convenient and a great property this room was just not it.

Would definitely stay again
Staff was super friendly! Location was great. Property was very clean and amenities were as described. Only downfall was the TV in the bedroom didn’t work (not a big deal we didn’t even bother to call and inquire about a fix) and two of the chairs at the table were in poor shape. One even broke when we sat on it. We reported it to the staff and they apologized. I would highly recommend this property. Location was great as we were right on the beach. We were only 30 minutes or so from a lot of attractions like the USS Lexington and Whataburger field. Pool was a great alternative to the ocean as well. On site laundry was $2.00 per load and super handy.

Memories New and Old
When my children were younger, we spent many summer vacations in El Constante #119. I have the most amazing memories here. The only reason I had not been back in some time, is that now I travel with my dog and I did not know until recently that the property has become dog friendly! Now this great place is even better! The bed is a little high for this now older traveler, but I love this place with all my heart. This is the perfect place for families or the more mature traveler. Even during Spring Break there was none of the craziness that you might find in Port A, and extra security was provided in the evenings. Thank you for all the memories and the many more to come.

My winter beach month in Padre
We had an amazing stay at El Constante. The residents and workers at the complex were delightful. Loved the layout and cleanliness of the complex. The heated pool and jacuzzi are amazing. My one huge complaint would be that there is no usable couch to sit on in unit 119. I read on reviews that the pull out couch was broken which was fine but the couch itself sunk down toward the middle about 8 inches when seated. Impossible for 2 people to sit on comfortably which is unacceptable when your there for a month. The owner refused to replace when contacted by Padre Escapes. I would not rent this unit until couch is replaced!

Average service
We have stayed at El Constante more than 5 times now, we have always found little details that disappoints us, this time the only sofa in the living room was broken and management only left a sign underneath the pillows saying it was broken. Like I said little details since we stay there for the beach, not to sit on the living room. Which is why we always return here, the location is great, steps away from the beach and a few miles away from stores. As I mentioned in the title, the whole stay isn't always excellent, but it is definitely a good place to stay when visiting.

Enjoyed our stay the unit for sure needs to update living room furniture couch is broken down and that other thing is something you would find on a patio just 1 other thing there needs to be some attention to the noise from from units above you can hear every step.

Great Location
Great location on the beach. The condo was adequately stocked with what was needed. The couch was pretty worn and stained and the wicker type chair was not comfortable, but everything else was great. Working with Padre Escapes as the rental company is always 5 star. We use them for rentals all over the island.

Great little escape
First time staying here but it came with great recommendations from friends. Room was in good shape and only a short walk from the beach. Pool was also pretty nice.

Perfect Getaway
Lovely beachside condo for 1-2 people. Condo was ready early. Upon arrival the ceiling fans were on, the temperature was set very comfortably and the tv’s were playing a soft jazz. It was an amazing presentation of the unit. So inviting and relaxing. Condo was clean, maintained and well stocked with everything I needed. I had treated myself to a solo getaway to read and relax on the beach and by the pool. My only minor frustrations were with the management of the property. Parking permits are issued and to be displayed in the vehicles, this does not happen. Others park there and when I called the office to say I had trouble finding a parking spot on my side, nothing was done. Pool bracelets are issued and not enforced. Not one person wore them, again, why bother? Anyone could be using that pool. Lastly, and this was the most annoying, people save chairs at the pool by throwing towels on them, sometimes all day and the management does nothing. This is a pool for everyone to use, first come first serve. Saving chairs to the detriment of others because someone wants a chair should they decide to go to the pool later is ridiculous. Management needs to handle this and the management office is literally 1 step away from the pool area!! Had to get that off of my chest. All that being said, the unit is great. Great location on the “end” of the beach, doesn’t get super crowded like other sections. Easy access to shopping and restaurants, Doc’s is my favorite casual dining spot on the water. Trying to go 1x per month this summer and will be returning. Rates for this unit are very reasonable comparatively. ����

It was a great place! We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The room had enough furniture for lounging and utensils to use for cooking. Beautiful pool as well.

Not the same...
I love this location and have stayed here multiple times over the last few years. You really can’t beat walking on to the. Each within a minute or two from your condo. With the older buildings, I get hearing your neighbors on ocassion but having the pleasure of staying underneath a group of kids on their senior trip is an experience like no other. The property management does not address these concerns and instead suggests a call to non-emergency police department. Without on-site 24-hr management or a dedicated and available staff to call for after hours concerns (not just an answering service), I don’t feel guest satisfaction is top priority.

Also, cleaning the A/C vents and dirt off the walls around the vents was another bummer, but I digress. There are plenty of other options to choose from and I will be choosing another location for our future stays.

Thank you for your feedback! We have made our on call agency (third-party) aware to please dispatch noise complaints to us. If we received the notice we would have definitely done something about it. We care deeply about each guest experience and moving forward noise complaint calls will be dispatched to us! The following day, we did send a reminder to guests about quiet hours. Great time at the beach
We have been coming to El Constance condos for many years and always enjoy our stay. This year was a little different because there was lots of rain during the 3 days we were there so we did some exploring in town in addition to playing in the water. They thankfully turned on the pool heater so that we could enjoy the pool while it was drizzling but the hot tub was broken. Our rental unit was awesome! They had a dresser drawer unit with mirror in the wall in closet which Was very helpful!

The floor hadn’t been swept. There were pieces of glass under the cabinets and behind the trash can. I couldn’t take a bath because there was no plug for the tub. Beach access was inconvenient because of the construction.

I Love these Condo’s
The property was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. All amenities were available as promised (need a can opener in kitchen) Then furniture was very comfortable but, not the furniture in the Condo advertisement. Very quite, with the exception of the children in the upstairs Condo running and playing. The Staff is amazing and very friendly/polite. Locked myself out of Condo at 10pm, called office and with in 3 minutes they called me back and got me back in my Condo. I love this place and have stayed there many times over 30-35 years and will continue to return. Very satisfied with my stay.

Everything was just old. Having to check out towels from the front office is annoying. The sheets and towels smelled funny and were stiff. Bed was small and VERY uncomfortable.

Mid-week 2 day stay
This beach location is great. The room was clean and well supplied. The small bedroom has no bedside tables. The elec outlet is on an opposite wall, so your phone etc charges on the floor or in the kitchen. Furniture is a bit worn. Bed pillows are very thin so we doubled up with the extra linen provided. Pet$$$$ are allowed, but a grassy area free of thorns to relieve themselves is hard to find. We really appreciated the water spigots along the beachfront of the hotel.

North Padre Getaway
We spent our first season as "Winter Texans" in February. Our condo was well laid out, but the kitchen was tight and was a challenge to work in. The condo was quite clean but we had no vacuum for the month of our stay despite putting in a request for one. Furnishings were adequate but rather uncomfortable. The location was incredible--on the beach on the ground floor! Management was friendly and professional. However, we found out more from other condo tenants than we did from the pros. One huge advantage was that this condo was pet friendly as we were traveling with a small dog.

Room and decor was very nice. Queen sleeper sofa needs a new mattress. It was almost useless. Disappointed in "hot" tub. It was anything but hot. Pool was warmer. I've been staying here for 30 years and will continue to stay. Great price. Great location. Can't wait to see the new updates.

Potential is there
The location of this resort is great. Right on the beach, very short walk. The only problem for me was i booked this resort in October while temperatures were mild. They front desk assured me to pool was heated and would be warm. It was not, and i requested front desk turn the heat on for my 3 year old, and they would not. So dont book this place for a heated pool, otherwise place is OK
