Signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check-in
Pet Friendly Property: Maximum of Two Pets/Weight Restriction of 50lbs or Less
Dog breeds not permitted at El Constante due to HOA guidelines: Pit Bull-type, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Wolf-dog hybrid, or Husky-type (including Siberian)
Pet Fees: For stays of 1–29 days, the pet fee is $100 per pet plus a $50 cleaning fee, and for stays of 30+ days, the pet fee is $300 per pet plus a $100 cleaning fee
For long-term stays, mail may be forwarded to the property address and retrieved from the front office during the guest’s stay

Time Sure Flies when You're Having Fun

Clean, well maintained condo by the beach. Only problem was trying to operate the TV controls, which aren't very user friendly. Ate at Captain's Diner twice as it was excellent!

Great vacation spot in Padre Island

We had a great time at this propoerty El Constante 122. Location is perfect, right on the beach, easy to go back and forth if needed. The unit faces directly the side parking lot which is very convenient as you can park right in front of your door. The unit was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen very well stocked, it had everything we needed for the weekend. The condo was well maintained, the pool was good, not to busy. In general it was really good, perfect for a weekend trip. We are definitely coming back another weekend during the summer.

We have been happy guests for many years and never had issues. The only problem was a very large group of high school band kids were not supervised and were loud inside the condos playing music and drumming on the floor upstairs and jumping around. We were disappointed mainly because there were no adults around paying any attention in the rooms. The rentals do not allow teenagers alone in the rooms under age 25 and clearly, they were past 8pm. We will still recommend the condos and will return.

Perfect stay in a perfect spot!

We were able to get into a condo in a short notice. Amber in the office was wonderful and so much help. The condo was very clean and everything we needed. Unit 123

Short trip, but relaxing. Place was clean and maintained. Booking through Padre Escapes was easy and effortless. Only complaint is the lantern light on the parking lot side is right outside the bedroom window and the bedroom needs room-darkening drapes in a bad way. Close to beach, far enough away from pool to prevent disturbance. Great trip.

Rental at ElConstante

Our unit was in great condition upon arrival. It was very clean. We have chosen this property repeatedly because of the great location. The Boardwalk is a plus for us to enjoy daily walks. We love the pool and hot tub. The property was very quiet. We have had a great experience with Padre Escapes in the past. Very responsive with any concerns or questions we have had. We will return!

Great place to go!!!

Great location!!! The apartment was fully furnished. We brought our air mattress. TV in the family room was broken (but we don't watch TV). We made management aware of. We found the the floor could have had a deeper cleaning (this it is something to have improved in the next time). Furniture was not moved when brooming or vacuuming.
We would love to be back to this unit.

Weekend getaway

The condo was nice and was in a great location. About a 3-5 minute walk to the beach. The only downside was the sleeper mattress was too thin and not comfortable, luckily I brought an air mattress.

Great Location

This place is in a great location right on the beach. The road runs behind Padre Scapes and only the sand between Padre Escapes and the ocean. There is vehicle beach access right next to Padre Escapes. They also have golf cart parking if you choose to rent a golf cart you haul your family and things around. The condo we stayed in allowed us to bring our two dogs. The condo was clean and we had an enjoyable experience. I would recommend to anyone with kids that would like to be right on the beach. They also have an outdoor salt water pool and provide pool towels for the pool. Also, customer service was excellent!

Beach Fun

We recommend this unit at El Constante. When we go back next year we will select this unit. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen had most everything. We didn’t find a blender but since we have run into this before, we brought our own. We loved the decor. We didn’t use the sleeper sofa so can’t comment on the comfort of the air bed.

Loud teens above us

We had no idea there would be a school high schoolers above and around us. Stomping and partying all night. Constant stomping morning and night. Worst weekend getaway ever. When I saw the teens on the balcony yelling at eachother from one balcony to another I asked if there was an adult with them and they said no. So how are they allowed to rent ? Also our room had no cot in the closet like last time I guess that was taken out and used for the high schoolers rooms. So disappointed in this being allowed.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent with us, this group had an adult chaperone with them so we apologize if they were loud. El constante

Everything was great. The only issue was the deadbolt for the front door was very hard to lock and the main light in the kitchen was missing the plactic cover. On the day we were to check out someone knocked on the door at 8am and came in and immediately left when they saw we were still there. Checkout is supposed to be at 11am.

Thank you for your feedback, Brian. We apologize about the door being a bit stiff, the saltwater nearby is usually the culprit for these types of things. We have notified the appropriate department regarding the plastic cover on the kitchen lighting; thank you for letting us know. We would have gladly addressed this during your stay. Check-out is indeed at 11am. Sometimes we have guests accidentally click on the check-out link which prompts our Housekeeping Department to go in and clean. It is my best guess that this may have happened in your case. It is an easy fix and our office is able to revert this status with a quick phone call from the guest. One Small Problem

We stay at El Constante a lot and have stayed in many many units. Unit 122 is a great unit-huge tvs, great kitchen with amenities, comfortable bed, relaxing shower head with nice water pressure. There was one problem—the bedroom at night is lit up like it’s daytime. There is a super bright light outside the bedroom window and the plastic blinds do not block out the light. I would wake up at 2 am thinking it was morning. We had to go to CVS to buy some eye masks. Now that we know the issue, if we stay in this one again, we’ll make sure to pack our eye masks.

Great stay in El Constantin 122!

My son and I were on Padre Island for a family gathering for my mom's birthday. El Constantine is perfectly located. We were 10 minutes from her home, a few seconds from the beach, and near many wonderful restaurants. The condo was impeccably clean when we arrived. Furniture was comfortable, and bed was GREAT! My only issue was that the parking lot facing bedroom window only had flimsy mini blinds. It did not feel private, and parking lot lights meant the room never got dark, which affected sleep. I would recommend blackout curtains. That was our ONLY issue. Everything else was great!

Perfect location for a beach get away

The location on North padre is convenient. The condos and complex are older but this one had some updates and was comfortable. We loved the beach view side. The pool was OK but not special and we preferred the ocean. The bed was comfortable and loved that they gave us pillow choices. The sofa and chair were also comfortable and shower head was great. We wish they would have provided a few beach chairs to take to the beach. It is very disappointing that they do not provide more towels and washclothes and also that they don't provide the basics in the kitchen like salt, pepper, and sugar and also don't provide you with some coffee or even the filters.

Ok stay, Probably won't use again

The unit looked nice online but upon opening the door there was a strong, unpleasant smell. Even my kids said "eww this smells!" every time we entered the unit. The management did ozone the unit, but we then had to be out of the unit for 2.5 hours. It helped some but needed to be done again.
There was also hair on the mattress protector of the pull out bed. There were also hairs when I unpacked the clean, plastic wrapped sheets for the couch bed. There were also hairs on the master bed.
The sink also had this black build up around the whole upper area that looked like black mold or mildew.
Less important, there was dry wall damage that looked like water damage.
The smell of the unit was a huge deterrent and we wont book this unit again.
When speaking with management, I did ask for some money back for the issues and discomfort, but they did not agree to this. They did offer a discount for a later stay, but again, we will not be returning here.
Overall the unit was ok-ish.

Vecation 2021

Highly recommend

Our family of four had a great stay. The unit was very clean. Very comfortable king size bed in the room. My kids slept very comfortable on the sofa bed. Plenty of towels, linens and basic supplies. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Great swimming pool! We felt very welcomed at our arrival. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for making this our best trip to the beach yet!

Exactly as Described

Had a wonderful time in this property. The most pleasant surprise, how comfortable the pull out bed was in the main room. I have never this before but it had a air mattress for the bed that came with a small pump. Most comfortable pull out bed I have ever slept on. Hats off to this property.

Beautiful Condo

This cozy condo was exactly as described. Very serene feel, relaxing, homey. It was also nicely updated. The heated saltwater pool was wonderful, and the hot tub was very nice too, but needed a little bit of cleaning. The only complaint about the interior was the shower head was a little hard to use lol, but Im really nitpicking here. Overall a great stay.

Disappointed

Ad described this unit as being updated. Some of it was. Bedroom window blind was in poor condition. People walking by could see right in. Did not filter out any light. Had to buy cardboard to put in window. Living room ceiling appeared to have mold. Outlet arched. Coffee pot quit. Dusty replacement hot plate didn't work. Gave up. Kitchen cabinets should have been replaced when changing countertops. Unit was musty smelling.

Room 122

THE WORST MATTRESS IN THE WORLD. I ended up sleeping on the couch because the mattress was so old and worn and the springs woke us up every time we moved. I never once had a full nights rest because of this. We picked the room on line but didn't think they would have a mattress left over from 1922. The room had a smell we believe was mildew. As far as the staff, they were very nice. The location is nice but if you rent here do not choose room 122. I would have given this place 5 stars but because I never had even one night of descent sleep I will rate it a 3.

Our Favorite Place

We always enjoy our stay at the El Constante. The property is well maintained and the pool is heated. Management was helpful and attentive to our needs. Unit 122 has an updated kitchen and bath but really needs a new bed. Overall stay was great with the exception of the bed, uncomfortable and noisy. We will stay in the El Constante again but in a different unit.

Sand and seagulls

Beautiful sunny walks on the beach with our coffee begin every day at El Constante! The practical first floor condo was well equipt except for the bed. The box springs were so noisy we pulled the mattress off onto the floor to get some sleep! But very helpful management reported the issue and the owner will deal with it ASAP. They also offered us a different unit. If they fix the bed situation we would stay here again unless one of the beachfront units was available.

Great stay!

Very clean, updated unit. I didn't have ANY issues at all. Nice open layout. Easy access to beach and pool even with 2 babies. We forgot a couple of items INCLUDING my 2 year old's teddy bear. I called the office and whoever cleaned the room took it took tje office. They had it and mailed it back to us! Lifesaver!!

Vacay

My family had an amazing stay at El Constante. It was the first time we stayed there and we were pleasantly surprised. We could only budget for 2 nights. But asked if there was another room available to stay a 3rd night. The front office was very helpful and accommodating. Even giving us a discount fir staying a third night. We loved the pool and how close the property was to the beach. We stayed in room 122 the first 2 nights. Only gripe was that the bed was horrible. It felt like a box spring. But third night was incredible. 299. It was spacious and beautiful. We will definitely be back and try to stay in room 299.

A Safe Haven and Respite after Hurricane Harvey

After hurricane Harvey destroyed my roof, I chose to stay at ElConstante Condominium while my repairs are being done. What a wonderful experience During a difficult time in my life! Beautiful beach and dune views, but the best part of this stay was the friendly staff are so kind and courteous and understanding. I can’t say enough great things about this place! This became my personal escape from Harvey’s Havoc!

Great lil place

We booked this condo last minute and it was perfect for our lil family! The location was great, especially with two kiddos under 3 as we were able to walk to the beach. The pool is wonderful. El Constante provides pool towels and will refresh them as often as you'd like. Our room was comfortable with the exception of a super creaky queen bed but overall spacious enough for us.
