El Constante 123

We stayed El Constante 123 and enjoyed our time there. The condo was comfortable and clean. We found the furniture to be comfortable. The cupboards were stocked well with cookware and everything we needed. The communication with Padre Escapes was wonderful. We would definitely like to come back.

It was great to see the water from the living room. The weather was fantastic. The unit is comfortable but needs a little attention to the kitchen area. The door on the refrigerator is still broken and the burners on the stove sometimes work and then don’t. But these are minor inconveniences. The furnishings are comfortable and the shower is great.

This was my 3rd stay at this location. Always a wonderful beach visit. One thing I would suggest is having more kitchen supplies. Possibly more pots/pans and storage containers. Bathroom was amazing, great furniture.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! Only thing I would change is being able to take my 60lb dog with me and private beach area would have been great on the weekend. Overall we had a fabulous time.

Arrived on a Sunday early check in was awesome was informed they where going to be working on the parking area in front of the unit I was staying in ok a work all day so ok was hot informed the the unit above mine was doing floors ok not home during the day but they worked some days till 9pm I guess they bit off more than they could chew gave them a brake a couple day because I no what it’s like they where supposed to stop at 5pm never did and calling the office did absolutely nothing to top that off Saturday night it sounded like he was jumping on the floor he distributed my hole time there plus you have four minutes of hot water to shower the unit Mike was working on was 226 I was down stairs in 123

Overall, my experience El Constante was good. The location was perfect for me. The rental and complex in general was clean and well kept. Manangement was very helpful and the rental process was convenient. The only negative issues were 1) that the couch/pull out was worn out and uncomfortable and 2) the bedroom mattress was very hard. This said, my quest and I didn’t sleep well and had body aches. Will try again next year with blow up mattresses.

The stay was good but very loud in the room. Loud noise was caused by water line for building runs through that room making it very loud in bedroom whenever someone in complex turns on the water. Other then that it was what I paid for.

I am very pleased with El Constante overall!! However, the unit I stayed during my February 2022 left a lot to be desired. Door jam needed repair immediately upon arrival. Door doesn’t fit in the frame - with the extremely cold temperatures and high winds during my stay, I resorted to “plugging” the gaps between the door and frame with plastic grocery sacks in order to block the wind from blowing into the unit. Bottom line - door and jam need to be replaced. The condition of the bathroom floor trim leaves much to be desired. The water from the shower ran between the bathroom and bedroom walls leaving wet floor tiles and water coming up from beneath the closet floor. I have pictures if anyone is interested.

We wish you had a better experience with this unit but I can confidently say the leak that was occurring has been repaired, and the bathroom has recently been updated with a walk-in shower. El Constante unit 123 is a very nice updated unit. Comfortable furniture and great bed. We have stayed in this unit before and will return. Convenient to the beach and packery channel jetty is within walking distance. Also love the heated pool. Awesome to be swimming in late December. Highly recommend, wished our schedule allowed us to stay longer.

The overall cleanliness was great. The tub is what I had concerns with. The shower curtain looked like it had dried shampoo from a previous guest and the bottom of the tub is stained appearing dirty. Other than that I had a great stay! Very comfortable and cozy and close to the beach.

First of all, I knew we were coming right after hurricane Hannah. Padre escapes notified me that power was out, so I knew things would not be ideal the first few days. We were accommodated in another unit for the first few days until this unit was ready. This unit, 123, was much nicer than the temporary unit we were in the first few days. Anyway, by the time we left the beach was cleaned up and open for vehicles again. We planned the vacation months ago, and unfortunately the hurricane hit, and the beaches were closed to vehicular traffic due to the Covid outbreak. Regardless, we had fun fishing and boogie boarding. The beach was packed with happy people under canopies. The weather was sunny and hot. If you have never been to North Padre island, the water is brown, but not dirty. Just silty from the Mississippi Delta runoff. The further south you go, the clearer the water. I would recommend.

Perfect experience at this spot. SO close to the beach, clean nice room, almost everything we needed in the kitchen, and everything worked. Oh, and the covered community gas bbq grill area was just great! Highly recommend staying here!

We wanted a getaway to relax and enjoy the beach for coffee in the morning. When it got too hot there, we enjoyed the pool!!! Cleanest pool I have ever been in! The condo is super cute, homet and had everything we needed. The only thing I would add to the bedroom would be blackout curtains. The parking lot lights made the room very bright. And an instruction sheet for the TV, cable and CD player would be helpful for the technologically challenged person!

This was our first time in Corpus Christi and we were looking forward to enjoying the beach. We enjoyed easy access to the beach and long walks as we explored the beach area. The condo was on the ground floor with an a angled view of the beach and provided easy access. The lack of comfortable chairs on the sitting area in front of unit was a disappointment. The unit had comfortable sofa and bed. The lack of kitchen amenities was a disappointment as there were limited dishes and supplies. Overall we enjoyed the beach.

Have been staying at El Constante for 30 years. Fabulous location right on the beach. We love the convenience of everyone being able to go back and forth from condo-beach-pool. We also enjoy walks on the boardwalk. This unit was well furnished and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Long time favorite!

When we go to Corpus Christi, we always stay at El Constante pretty much since they built the Condominious. We never had a bad experience. This is so convenient for my kids and family; have fun in the beach and in a few minutes you are inside your room and you can cook what you want or use the bbq area. Very nice

Cute unit, enjoyed our stay. View of beach and quick walk there perfect. AC wasn’t great in master, too warm. Coffee filters would have been nice (understand no food, s&p etc can’t be in unit). Beautiful, clean pool. Overall good experience. We decided to tune out of distractions and we didn’t carry our phones with us always (was vacation after all) and got locked out of the unit twice after management hours (pic of code on phone). Was difficult to get ahold of someone late in the evening to reset and had to ask other guests to borrow their phone. Maybe there’s a better way to code the doors?

Unit had obvious Hurricane Harvey damage, though some repairs had been made. Overpowering smell of ammonia in the unit. Saw one "critter" during my stay. More than two washcloths would have been nice for my 3 day stay. For the price, I think I will look elsewhere next time.

I’m a firefighter and my wife and I decided to take a last minute mini vacation with our two daughters. We decided to stay at El Constante for a couple of nights. It was our first time staying at El Constante and we were not disappointed. The room smelled freshly cleaned, the A/C was blowing cold, the pool was very nice and clean, and best of all we were right up by the beach. If I had to complain about something it would be the fact that the condo only had glass cups. Having my kids I never use glasses, and sure enough my 4 year old accidentally dropped one and ended up getting cut needing 3 stitches. From this point forward I will always bring disposable cups on vacation with us. I would highly recommend staying at El Constante.

It was excellent! All rooms were very clean and very well maintained. The staff ( especially Larry and Kristy) were amazing going above and beyond to help with our weekend. We had 30 family members for a graduation party and half of them were staying on the premises. We used the club house 2 times for our elderly and family members with infants to gather and eat and as I already stated the staff went out of their way to help. The property was perfect and the location to the beach was perfect. We had a large beach wheelchair for a handicapped person and it had to stay outside the room. No one ever bothered it and I felt the staff did a great job of watching over the property, you could always find someone on the property even at 3 in the morning. We have stayed here now twice and both times received the same wonderful care. We will definitely stay again.
