When we got there, the place was spotlessly clean and exactly as pictured. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, the bed was a little smaller than expected, but we made it work. relaxing view of the Gulf — perfect for morning coffee and sunset cocktails.

Great Location, Bed not so much
We stayed at the El Constantine, the location was beach front and was great. The unit was nice and fit our needs but the bed was old and very uncomfortable, and there was always a sound of water running. The a/c vents in the bedroom didn't allow or blow cold air but the living room vets worked and it was freezing. Got a text prior to arrival about the hot tub was not working but would be repaired soon but after 7 days still was not operational. Asked for a late checkout, and was denied, asked for a single hour and was denied. I would likely stay again based on location if nothing else was available for a similar price.

Wonderful Time with Grandkids Nearby
The unit was just as described. Very clean, neat, and comfortable. We were on the beach mostly. Pool was great. Has Keurig Coffee maker (not mentioned) along with other coffee maker. Queen size bed in bedroom. Perfect size condo for 2 alongside the beach. Family rented a 2 bdrm condo near us. Thank you for sharing your property with others.

Nice unit old mattress
This is a nice unit . It has a queen bed unlike most unitd. The mattress is old and uncomfortable making the sleeping part of our vacario very unpleasant.if owner replaces mattress I would have rated higher and recommended this unit.

First time at this place. Loved it. Only downside was my sister-in-law was on 2nd floor rental and the place doesn't have elevator. Normally not an issue, but I'm just recovering from knee surgery. Only other issue - wish rental had a Keurig coffee machine, not used to making coffee in the regular coffee pot.

VEry nice getaway place!!! WE LOVED it!!
Great area! Safe! Clean! Walking distance to the beach..literally steps to the beach! WE loved El Constante- the room, the heated pool, hot tub, walking distance to the beach, the option to sit outside- the seating outside our room, access to rinse our car. We will stay again. The only few negatives were the dust on top of the bedroom curtain and the dust under the mattress frame under the headboard, the shade would not go up/down in the bedroom,and the funny toilet seat that did not fit the toilet--very uncomfortable to use the RR. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Close to souvenir shops, a few shops, and a few places to eat and about 10-15 minutes from CC. I'm ready to stay again!! We were given a code to enter the room. Easy check in and check out was by email. I thought I would have received text to check out but it was in my email so I called the number to checkout.

We keep coming back
Least expensive place to stay right on the beach! Very pleasant--just right for us. The two issues we had (WiFi not working; shower diverter stuck) were quickly fixed.

Great Spot on the Beach
My daily has been coming down here for years. Condo was as always clean and in great condition. I love the the complex is right on the water and easy to get back and forth to the water. No complaints at all and will be back again next year!

Condo 128 was very clean, had a fully equipped kitchen with starter packs of paper towels, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags and bathroom toiletries. The bed was a bit too lumpy for my liking but my son found it comfortable, I found the sleeper sofa comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay and location of the condo.

Great Location
Excellent price for the Location! This room is in view from the beautiful beach and under 2 min from everything you need from restaurants, Bars, groceries, souvenirs, and great fishing. It makes vacation so easy. This room is staying on my radar

Great Escape.
Very relaxing. Nice clean condo. Assistants helped us get into condo on day of arrival when it looked like it wasn’t going to happen due to us not going to arrive there till after closing. We got stuck in traffic all the way to Padre Island. We received phone assistance from Padre Escapes , walked us through phone app and got us our room in time. Very nice and patient when we locked ourselves out of condo on arrival. We were frazzled but everyone was so nice. We’ll be back .

Updated and Nice View
We stayed at the condo and were right on the beach. We'd have coffee on the patio and enjoy our view of the dunes--quiet and tranquil and no sun in our faces. We'd walk right down the nice sidewalk to the beach each day. The place is updated and looks just like the photos. Visitors can tell that this place has been well kept with the mini palm trees on the patio, immaculately clean on the inside, and we always found parking right outside our door.

Clean and nicely updated unit; friendly staff
The unit was clean and updated, and the padre escapes staff were very friendly and helpful! I’ve been staying here for over 30 years, since childhood, and it still has that same relaxed feel. Word of note: much of the gulf side view condos are being renovated which cuts off your access to the beach. This was only a minor inconvenience (I was more annoyed with the port a potty blocking the view). The construction crews were courteous and weren’t disruptive. The people who live upstairs are extremely heavy walkers however, and like to get an early start. This was the biggest issue, which I understand there really isn’t anything to do about it. I just have never noticed this in other units. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back. The unit itself was clean to our standards and had everything we needed. We loved being able to utilize the beach wagon!

Good enough accommodations. Could have been warned about construction on adjacent unit earlier than 3 hours before arrival. Attention to clean up from construction minimal(insulation and other materials regularly blowing into the pool, etc.)

Amazing! Plan on Staying Again!
Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, the place was clean, and it was easy to get to the beach. It was not too small and not too big. Perfect for 2 people to have a get away!

Over all condo was great. I do feel like cleaning could be a little better but not a major thing. Condo had everything we needed and we loved it. Can not wait to return.

Great condo within steps from the beach and pool!
We staid 3 nights but wish we could have had more time. The condo is updated and has all you would need for meals there and only a short walk from the beach and pool. We would definitely come back and stay again at El Constante 128K.

Had a great time. Problems figuring out the television. You used to have directions in each unit describing use. Each unit is different. No regular drinking glasses in this unit.

I wish we hadn't lost power
We stayed in two different rooms at El Constante and preferred this one, even though it was farther from the beach. Sadly, the island lost power about an hour after we checked in and didn't come back on until midnight, so it's hard to fully judge the place given our circumstances. All that said, the apartment was clean, I liked the pull-down shades, the bathroom was nicely appointed, and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend it. The exterior of the building was old, however, and needs repairs.

Could have been perfect if it wasn’t on the 1st floor.
We stayed in this condo from May 23rd to May 31st. We’ve stayed at ElConstante several times over the years. This was the first time we opt’d to chose a room at the end of the condo. We usually stay in 208 and have also stayed in 118 before. Overall it was a nice clean (minus the sand����) condo. The bed was soft(not firm). We loved the updated shower and high tub. We had to call PadreEscapes and ask the to bring some baking pans, which they brought right away. We did not like that we did not have any panty space for our weeks worth of groceries. Panty was locked. The people upstairs were very heavy walkers and loud. The AC unit for upstairs was even louder and right next to the bedroom window. It kept us up and woke us up every night. Ended up taking several naps on the couch after not sleeping well in the bedroom.

The rental process was very easy. The condo itself was nice and comfortable. However, the coffee maker needed instructions as we tried everything we knew and still couldn’t get it to work properly. The condo was a very easy walk to the beach and it was very quiet!

Close to paradise
This one room condo was in the most perfect location! If you're looking for something within walking distance to the beach/gulf, this is it. You can hear the sound of the waves from the front door. The condo inside looked brand new, there weren't too many amenities inside, but a quick trip over the causeway (about 20 mins) to HEB I filled the fridge/freezer (if you drink coffee, need to go buy it!), and bought kleenex and extra paper towels. There are many great local eateries, desserts and was even close to Schlitterbahn for their weekend brunch. The property is going thru a lot of remodel/building, but that didn't interfere with my stay what-so-ever. The office staff is friendly, helpful and I will definitely keep this location in mind for any future trips.

location was good but the bed sheets did not fit and as such I ended up sleeping partial on sheets and partially on the. mattress. I would thus not wish to stay here again. Also the TV remotes only worked after one of the employees came and spent about 40 minutes trying different things, connecting and disconnecting cable. Hearing footsteps on the unit above was also not to my likings.I was also surprised that a dog was allowed in the jacuzzi.

We hate to hear your disappointing experience. Pets are certainly not allowed in the hot tub. We'll also look into the sheets issue. It sounds like the cable went out temporarily but we will check on the TV remote setup to see if something needs fixed. Thank you for your feedback.

Beach Vacation
I would request this unit again. I could see & hear the ocean from the porch. The unit has beautiful finishes with quartz counter tops. It was a perfect vacation!
