We have been staying at El Constante for more than 30 years for our annual vacation. We are always very pleased and have a great time. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great updated room with new walk in shower.The living room couch is comfortable with a large TV that’s great to watch...your able to see the pool from room & the laundry room is across the sidewalk...I’ve been renting this room for My Winter Away for years,& I will continue

Rm 132 was everything we expected and chose from online registration. Property was clean and nicely decorated. Amenities all complete except for a much needed blender to make our margaritas. �� We did notice one other set back....the pool. 2 plastic water bottles floating around plus young adults with glass beer bottles which really shouldn’t be allowed by pool area. Aside from that...a comfortable visit.

I was very pleased with the condo. It was cute, clean and just what we were looking for. I loved that the door opened right to the pool and we were right on the beach too. My only complaint was that during the night the bedroom light would randomly turn on multiple times each night.

The rental was very well appointed with nice furnishings and accessories. The aesthetic was very pleasing for the beach. Wish they had a Keurig for coffee would have been easier. We had everything else we needed. There was a mosquito issue when we arrived they were swarming the front door, they were in condo also and bit us. We had to go buy bug spray at the local CVS and spray around the door on the porch. We called the management office and they chuckled said it was from rain, but everywhere else we went there were no mosquitoes. We were bit a lot and I had a huge bite on my face for the whole trip. It was not pleasant and they didn’t seem to care or offer any assistance.

Thank you for your detailed review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the condo's furnishings, but apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the mosquitoes. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, it can be difficult to control bugs entirely, and we're limited to the HOA's schedule for spraying the grounds. However, we understand how frustrating this must have been, and we’ll work closely with the HOA to try to improve this in the future after heavy rain. Been coming for 10 years now I love my room,especially since it’s been updated it’s Beautiful & comfortable, the only thing I would love if it had a lounge chair & also a good floor lamp for reading in the living room...I’ve already booked next year

Very much liked the location and the complex was excellent. Pool was well maintained. Gas grills worked great. Excellent beach access. Only issue at check-in. We checked with the company as we arrived on the island at 2:00. They said unit was ready and we could check in but it would be an extra $25. Just seemed petty.

We loved the El Constante 132 unit. Staff at the condo were great and accommodating. Upon our arrival, the power was out at the property from a storm, obviously at no fault to Padre Escapes. However, had we received communication from Padre Escapes that morning when the power went out at 10 AM (according to the AEP link that was later sent in a text from Padre Escapes for tracking the outage), instead of at 3 PM that afternoon, we could have postponed our arrival (coming from San Antonio so not too far) instead of showing up unknowingly to a condo without power and having to find a different hotel that night.

This condo was wonderful. It was fully stocked with everything you need. It faces the pool but was never noisy. Pool was always clean. Pool bands were available but not enforced. Close to the beach and an easy drive there. Office staff was always friendly. I would recommend this complex and this condo.

It was a nice surprise to see apartment 132 totally upgraded . We like to come every summer with our kids to El Constance and we used to stay in this room too . Nice bathroom, nice kitchen nice ambience . The table I thought it was too small having in mind that we are 4 people in my family .It was hard to all eat in the same time . The only problem it was that we notice one of the drawer was not put together and when we mention it they were very prompt and called back to schedule a time to repair it .

We love El Constante! The room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked! The room was decorated beautifully! The staff at El Constante was so friendly and helpful. They provided us with extra towels daily and the common area came with coffee, puzzles, and a deck of cards which we borrowed! We had a short vacation but our experience was top notch! On the beach. We were poolside so Everything was convenient pool, laundry room and office were right outside my door way. Everything was great up until lunchtime. Only 2 burners worked in kitchen. Apartment was very limited on cooking Utensils, there were only sauce pans,silverware. Disappointed on kitchen supplies. Otherwise, I would have given à perfect score.

Unfortunately when we got there the room was overpowered by smoke smell. The office put an ozone machine and smelled better. HOT TUB was a joke. Needs to be resurfaced badly, rough rough gunite. Was out of order half the trip then Colder than the pool. Had to flip eggs & pancakes with a butter knife. No spatula. Pans were old & scratched. Bed was way way too soft. Nice new sofas. Needs a new sharp potato peeler. Thank goodness for the short walk to the beach. No ice maker. No coffee filters. Have to change your own towels and trash bags. Close new IGA Grocery store. Overall felt we should have been compensated for the imenity hot tub couldn’t use & horrible smell of cigarettes but at least the staff tried to solve the problem.

The HOA is working on having the hot tub resurfaced this offseason, so we hope that is completed by your next stay to enjoy.

Loved being walking distance from the beach and the pool was really nice. We expected to have noise issues with our room so close to the pool but our room was nice and quiet. We expressed some concerns about the stove and cleanliness of the bathroom and the front desk took us very seriously and assured us it was not their standards. Would stay again!

We stayed in this condo before and liked it, so we stayed there again. The experience was different this time with so many other guests in the units beside and above us. Partying late into the evening a couple nights. We are retired, so we probably won't stay in this condo again due to its proximity to the pool. We may try a unit that faces the beach.

We had a GREAT time at our stay! It was clean, a great location, very friendly management, awesome AC, and updated furniture!! The CONS: the unit overall was very outdated (we would still return), and the bed was horribly uncomfortable. Super hard but bouncy...which meant every time we rolled over or moved, the other person was tousled. Even just a mattress topper would help!
Otherwise... I highly recommend!

We had nice two night experience with family in other condos as well. We did get delayed from checking in by a plumbing problem that needed to be corrected. After checking in we discovered that unit 132 was clean but WELL DATED. This unit should not be rented for the same rate as comparable sized units until it is updated with better furniture, plumbing fixtures and just a a general fix up. Other family members had very nice units and we felt like we were in the Motel 6 version for our unit. I would recommend the property but not unit 132.

Love the community feeling with a lot of events to engage. Also love the pool the few times it wasn’t warm enough it was checked & temp adjusted. I just wish my owner would update this was my 3rd stay for winter,Seems this room hasn’t been updated since the 80’s..I visited a lot of other rooms there that was much nicer.I think they should all be about the same upgrades in all. The office staff is great very helpful.

We checked in on a Sunday; the property was clean and well maintained. However, the condo above us was rented(for the third year in a row) to a family who brought along their pet buffalo herd!! Never heard so much running, stomping, yelling, etc. We called the office and complained and it would stop...for a while! Secondly, the mattress in unit 132 was horrible. I had to get up every morning and sit for a few minutes until my back could support me standing up.

Very nice space to reconnect with you and the nature. The bed and sofa in living room were very comfy and allowed us to rest from many trips to the ��. The walking distance to the beach make my kids very happy. Every morning we went to the ocean and back in to the pool in front of the property . The location is perfect for our family with 2 active boys. Is the 2nd time coming to this room and we plan on coming back.

First and foremost the furniture is outdated and the bed is uncomfortable..BUT that's nether here nor there!!The condo was clean and simple, limited dishware but do-able. A/C worked very well and there was hot water. The location is perfect, right by the pool. No complaints, but 1, upstairs,I'm pretty sure there were kids because you could swear they were sprinting back and forth throughout the night. And then again in the morning. And when leaving the condo, we have to make sure the door closed. But none of this warrant dissatisfaction. Me and my family had a wonderful time. Check in was simple as well as checking out! We will be coming back. Location was right on the beach. My only complaint is : there was no full body shower on property, only a foot shower to rinse off.

Wonderful stay! The room was cozy and perfect. The only thing I would recommend is instructions left on how to navigate the television. There were 3 remotes!! I ended up having to go to the office to have them show me how and which ones to use.

We love coming to El Constante, have been coming for years! We notice though that some ammenities like coffee filters are not provided anymore, it's not a big deal but it would have been nice to know about it ahead of time. Also the place could stand a thorough cleaning. Other than that it is great!!!

I really enjoyed my stay. Great location (right on the sea wall) & pool. The complex was going through a renovation creating a construction site feel (but it is nice to see the up keep happening) I do think the management should mention or post this. (reason I am giving 4 stars because of construction) Nonetheless, I really endjoyed condo 132 because I could relax/layout right in front of my door & steps away from the pool. I liked the long pool hours. The front desk folks are great and accommodating. The condo itself had a huge tv and huge bed which makes the stay even better.
I will be going back.
