The condo is in a very good location, can’t get any closer to the beach, however the guests in the condo next to us were very rude by staying up on their balcony talking, screaming and playing music until 4-5 AM every night of our 3 night stay! I called the after hours number all 3 nights but nothing was done about it. They had more than the standard amount of people that could be in a condo—multiple families in one condo. The only positive is the condo was stocked perfectly and the rooms were great for our family of four.

We would go to El Constantine, specifically condo 202, for years every family and I loved it so much. The location, the condo was perfect but we couldn't make it out until this summer again. Because of the location they do tend to upcharge, but it was always worth it. We were so excited to go this past week but since the moment we got there things just took a turn for the worse. Check in is supposed to be at 4pm. We arrived at 5pm and were told the condo wasn't ready because they had an unusual amount of checking that day. So we weren't able to get into the condo until an hour and a half past check in, which was quite disappointing after a 5hr drive. I can understand if they don't have enough cleaning staff for the delay, but once we got into the condo it was halfway cleaned. You could just tell they did the bare minimum because we found trash and beer cans once we opened up the sleeper sofa. Either way, we used to love it here so much we tried to look past all of it and enjoy the rest. We went to the pool with the kids and it was quite dirty. I didn't feel comfortable swimming in it. I understand its hard to keep super clean with constant use, but it was pretty gross. I definitely don't remember it being that bad about 4 years ago. For the price you pay you would just expect for it to be more taken care of. We were playing cards the last night there around the dining table when my son accidentally took off one of the hanging pictures on the wall and we discovered what looked like black mold. My son has very bad asthma/ allergies so I was very concerned with him being near that so we hurried up and put the picture back on as to not disturb it. . I honestly was ready to leave and go home early because I just started noticing all the potential mold in there. I understand its right on the beach so its difficult to control the moisture, but the whole stay ended up a huge disappoint. It just seems to have gone downhill over the years sadly ��

We had stayed in the complex about a year ago and really enjoyed the property so we thought stay there for our anniversary this year. The condo was very clean and well appointed. of course the location and beach front view was awesome. And there is no lacking for reading material! A great place to stay.

We have stayed in this complex (El Constante) 4-5 times in the last couple of years and noticed there seem to be people who show up after the office closes who are not staying there and use the pool. On this stay, Sunday night six teenage boys showed up after dinner and were playing football and having "chicken fights" in the pool, making it un- appealing for the paying guests. No supervising adults were in the area. Security after the office closes would be helpful.

We always love seeing y'all here at El Constante and look forward to your next stay! Pool use after hours can be an issue, and we always recommend to call our after hour number so we can dispatch our on call security to do a property walk through to ask trespassers to leave. Security is scheduled during high occupancy weekends and nightly from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The facilities and staff at El Constante and Padre Escapes are the best. We have stayed here for three years and each year gets better and better. I like to fish and this is one of the best areas in the US. I did several charters in the Gulf of America and loaded up with snapper.

My family had a great beach weekend! This is our third trip to Whitecap Beach and El Constante #202 is our favorite rental so far. The unit is nicely updated and has a great layout with plenty of space for myself,my husband, and our 2 kids. The guest bedroom is why I chose this unit. It has so many beds and a crib! My younger child is 2, so I knew he would have a place to sleep, either in a bed or the crib. It was really great that I did not have to bring a pack n play. We will definitely rent this unit for our next trip!

The unit was a nice, well equipped gulf-front property. A lot of pots and pans and real glasses. The cleaning was above average and we like the no-pet policy.
A couple of areas for improvement would be to fix the drywall damage in the master BR from a leak and a little more emphasis on cleaning the carpets.
Overall we enjoyed the unit.

Unit was clean, pool was awesome. Early in stay unit was quiet, as week went on and neighboring units got occupied you could hear much activity and noise, must not be sound proofed very well. Staff was really good, nice location on beach.

Drove down from Houston for last minute getaway. Was lucky enough to get this perfect condo. Was the best location and nice and clean and two blaconies overlooking the gulf a bonus. The house was well equipped and clean. The only down side was kids in the hot thb and unattended youngsters in the pool even thougj signs clearly posted.

We loved this beach condo! It was decorated beach and very clean. It had everything we needed. Thr kids loved the room with 2 sets of bunkbeds and it even had a crib but we didn't need it. The 3 balconies were wonderful and much used. This condo backs up to the beach so I could sit on a balcony and have eyes on my older kids out on the beach. It was easy to walk out of the gate and onto beach. The ladies in the office were helpful and friendly. The pool was beautiful and clean. We would definitely recommend this condo and location to our friends and hope to return.

This was our third summer in a row to stay at El Constante. The location and price is perfect. I’m impressed that every year the condo is nicer. So many times these places can go downhill. Not the case. We love Padre Island.

The kitchen remodel was needed and great surprise since our last stay. The only request I would have for the owner is to get rid of that massive wooden crib in the guest bedroom!!There are portable cribs, that are very safe and can be stored in the closet out of site. The room is very small and the crib just takes so much space!!! We always have our Grandchildren with us and they do complain about it every time!!

The room has a perfect view and is very relaxing. The hospitality from Padre Escapes is always great. My only complaint was the room was very warm. The AC did not work properly and the room was 80 downstairs. It was even hotter and so muggy upstairs where the bedrooms were making it difficult to sleep. If you stay here, bring some box fans!!

The location was so convenient. The view from the master bedroom was so relaxing to watch the sunrise. Access to the beach right outside was perfect for our family. The furniture was very nice and comfortable. Also, a small deck to watch over the pool area was so nice. Would no doubt stay here again in the future. My family enjoyed it so much.

Second time I've stayed at El Constante and it does not disappoint. The only thing I wish this unit (202) had was it's own washer and dryer. I'm not sure why the premium beach front units wouldn't have them when the side unit I stayed in last time did. If I were there for a week or more, I would opt for one with them. Overall, a great location and condo for the money.

View was awesome. Condo too crowded with furniture. Staff not enforcing rules about alcohol in pool area, or limits to people allowed in pool area. Not enforcing use of armbands in pool. I witnessed several people arrive carrying only pillows to "crash" with others at a large gathering.

We were warned about a late check-in and were indeed delayed approx. 45 minutes getting in. I found some evidence the unit wasn't "deep-cleaned" (pool toy wrappers under furniture and dusty surfaces) but it was clean.

We really enjoyed this condo and would stay here again. It is nicely decorated with plenty of dishes and utensils. The sliding door to the balcony off the dining area is very clouded so it blocked the view but we spent most of the time out on the balcony when we were at the beach. The location is great and the view was perfect! Walk right on to the beach or the boardwalk. It was so convenient to also be able to drive onto the beach with all of our things.
It was nice having a laundry basket to put our dirty clothes in. The bathroom near the second bedroom is missing half of the shower curtain rings making it a little challenging. A new set of rings is an an easy fix.

unit was nice, but there were like 10 workers up on scaffolding over the pool, cussing and yelling and carrying on nonstop the whole time. made it very uncomfortable for my family with children to be in that space

We love the location, great views and the way the condo is decorated!! It does need some updates on the kitchen small appliances, pots and pans...And dust off all the bookshelves. The crib in the guest room and rocking chair in the closet is taking way too much space. There are portable cribs these days... after all ,we decided to come back next year. Hopefully some of the issues will be taking care of.

My two sons and their families stayed in El Constante 202. The condo was immaculate and very nicely appointed with furniture. In addition, the pool was extremely nice and convenient. We were really impressed with the two ocean front balconies. All in all, it was a wonderful family vacation.

Our stay was wonderful! The condo was equiped with everything you could think of to make it feel like home. The view from the balconies was stunning! The location was ideal, right on the beach but short drive to restaurants and shops. It was so hard to leave!! I highly recommend Padre Escapes and El Constante!

beautiful updated unit. VERY comfortable beds. even though the pool area and neighbors balcony's may get a little loud, the unit stayed pretty quiet inside. The floor tiles in the living space need to be reset and secured to the floor. Other than that this unit was perfect and I look forward to returning. Cant find a better location for beach access.

Beautiful location right on the Gulf. We were able to watch stunning sunrises and listen to the waves each morning. It was convenient to walk right out into the beach. Property was close to restaurants, shopping and activities.

We were fortunate enough to be able to spend 30 days at El Constante #202. The 2/2.5 unit was comfortable and beautiful. Although bad weather kept us off of the beach for several days, we found plenty to do and enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub almost daily. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were just steps away from the water and the beach access for vehicles was right next to the property. I’d definitely stay there again.

Our family loves staying at ElConstante Condos in Port Aransas. The staff is absolutely the best. They are so pleasant, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about the areas activities and restaurants. The condos are always immaculate and comfy. They are each decorated differently (because they are individually owned), but are beach themed and create such a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The ocean is just steps away, and their pool is always sparkling clean and refreshing. We've vacationed many places, but ElConstante is our #1 favorite!

Upon Arival the condo had a smell of covered up cigarett smoke. Being a non smoking family we were not happy about the smell. Bed sheets had a musky smell. Pool was good, also nice to be close to the beach.

All of our properties are non-smoking so it would surprise if someone was actually smoking in the property but sometimes people smoke on balconies or at neighboring units and the smell can carry over. We haven't had any other complaints about this but we will keep a close eye on it. Thank you for reporting.

The experience we had in unit 202 was great. The living conditions were very comfortable. The unit had everything we needed, in fact it probably had more then we needed. It is decorated really nice; the downside is it had too many decorations. i.e. pillows and trays on the table/dresser. Also with 2 bunk beds and a crib the extra bedroom is crowded. Overall it is a wonderful unit with the ocean view being the best!

Thank you for the feedback. We understand it may not be the ideal setup for the two of you but many summer time guests prefer this setup. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, we look forward to having you back next year.
