First I’d like to say padre escapes is managed beautifully; however this particular rental was a disappointment. First impression it smelled of moldy old carpeting. The kitchen was absolutely filthy. We had to get the code maker out of the upper cabinet & the top of the refrigerator was gross - the ceiling had food stick to it and the silverware & glasses were disgusting. This place needs a thorough cleaning! Ceiling fans filthy - furniture old. Glass table top merky. The property it self is always maintains well. The fate to the beach was bextremrky tight to hold opem. Need to loosen the springs. Beds were comfortable but you had to lug down extra 2 foldaways to set up anywhere downstairs as there was no way they’d fit in existing bedrooms. Kitchen needs more than 2 towels as they get Sandy and wet after first day. I usually DO NOT write REVIEWS but this unit needs some help. Still would recommend El Constantine for its closeness to the beach.

Every thing was good till my wife saw water dripping from ceiling. Call maintenance to have check. Maintenance was not able to fix leak coming from upstairs guess bathroom, was told to not use guess shower and would have to contact plumber on next business day. Payed lots of money for suite To only have one shower for my whole party to have to use on our mini vacation.

As the leak was reported late in the evening on the last night of the stay prior to your departure, after discussing the situation, we opted to have the plumber to come out the next morning after your check-out so as to not interrupt your stay, as our maintenance staff was able to stop the small leak until a plumber could be called out. When we arrived, we hoped to get in early, but the apartment was not ready. When we got the text that it was ready, the door would not open. The battery had died on the key pad. It was over 100 degrees. The condo front desk let us in within 10 minutes and maintenance took care of the replaced battery within an hour. I got a number of unnnecessary automatically generated emails “answering my question” about Padre escapes. The online/text system could be improved. Check out was easy though. I got a text and an email with a link to check out. That worked as it is supposed to.

You do have to walk up stairs to get to the entrance. No elevator.

The apartment is functional, clean. Has dishes, working oven. Good TVs in the rooms. Location to the beach is excellent. It is located at the end of the sea wall. If you get up early enough you can put your shade, blanket, etc. on the beach.

This is not a luxury apartment. At least one of the pictures on the walll is in a frame that is falling apart. The faucets in the bathroom are starting to rust. It’s dated but comfortable. I thought it was over priced.

The overall visit was good but I didn't make it to the picture of the 2 cots they considered beds for our guests. All the appliances and decor was outdated compared to other rooms ove stayed in. A leak showed itself under the stove during the heavy rain we had. I would not pick this room again.

It was out first ever family of 4 get away. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen all very clean and provided everything you could ever need in the kitchen. All we had to do was buy food and ice. The location of the condo had amazing access to the beach and pool to keep our 3 year old toddlers happy. All we needed was our wagon, chiars and cooler and headed to the beach. The one and only complaint that we had was the washer and dryer needing $2 to wash and $2 to dry and apparently they had a coin shortage. So with having 2 toddlers with you we did have to wash 2 different times while staying in the condo and it was inconvenient and expensive to try and find someone who would give you change as the office was closed. Also the office does not accept cards to get coins so we had to get cash, it was just a annoying. Maybe put in a small washer and dryer would be an amazing addition. Other than that it was awesome and I thank you for keeping it clean and feeling like home. We felt safe and saw the security guard walking the entire time we were staying.

The rental was very clean & spacious. The couches and guest room covers had been replaced, so the pictures need to be updated. I’m very happy with this location. Only a short walk down to the beach and they have a place to wash all the sand of your feet before coming back into the complex, which was very handy. The pool always had dirt & hair in it, but it’s hard to complain once you see how many people are in & out of there. The staff in the office was so sweet and helpful. I would 100% stay at this location in the future!!

We loved staying in this unit. It was immaculate and exactly as the pictures showed. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us to spread out. The furniture and bedding was all very comfortable (my kids preferred to take the mattresses off the rollaway beds and sleep on the floor).The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The office staff were very helpful with any question we had. The best part was being able to walk downstairs, past the pool, down a few stairs right to the beach. We did notice that the air conditioning didn't seem as efficient at cooling the upstairs rooms as the main floor. Convenience store was just up the road, and major grocery store was about a 15 minute drive away. Plenty of things to do in the area if you need a break from the beach: aquarium, art museum, science museum, shopping, water park and more. We will definitely try to come back next summer!

Love this condo’s location, that the entrance is within the pool gate, and the door entrance is on the corner of the balcony so you feel safe to leave your stuff. You can also see the ocean partially. I also liked that one of the upstairs bathrooms was outside the bedroom so you had another option while kids napped. It’s carpeted throughout, which we liked but the carpet was old. Definite signs of water damage on the ceilings with part of the ceiling peeling off/hanging down. There were an obviously broken lamp in one of the rooms which we thought was interesting that no one replaced prior to our stay. I would love to stay there again, my only complaint is with the cleaning crew, there were chicken bones under the bed and trash behind the TV stand. It just didn’t feel clean. The office staff were very receptive to any issues/questions we had. The pool is huge for that small complex.

My family loved the condo that we stayed in. It was very cozy and felt like home. We loved the pool and that we were right on the beach. I also loved that the complex wasn't huge so the pool was never overcrowded and the unit was quiet. Out of all the condos and hotels we have stayed in this by far is our favorite and our new go to.

HOT - we arrived late on 7/12. On 7/13 no electricity from about 2pm to 6:30 pm and again from 7:30pm to about 12:30 am. On 7/15 at about 8am, check out day at 11am) we are cooking breakfast (8am) and getting ready to leave by 11am (check out time) and electricity goes out again. No breakfast cooked, hot while moving out. We left at 11 am and still no electricity. No back up generators which I thought was odd being on the coast. No offer to reimburse or provide incentives to come back.

Was there for my mothers 90th birthday, really liked the condo. Nice and close to the beach. The garbage disposal didd't work, but that was not a big issue, also one of the tv remotes was missing upstairs. Was nice and clean .

The condo was in good condition. We didn't spend much time in it, but was glad to see that it was stocked with plenty of kitchen ware and plenty of towels/toiletries in the bathrooms. The rooms were decorated very nicely and the beds were comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

process for rental was easy, but required to reserve by phone. at the time I booked, Website were not operational yet.the location is nice and overall I'm happy with the stay with some caveat : unit was a bit outdated, but renovation works are under way in the condo. lots of noise due to construction worker, a lot of dust /debris in the pool prevented us to use it until the workers were out for thanksgivingand subseqent friday. wifi capacity is clearly a problem when there is more people in the condo and would require an upgrade. but wifi was restored during thanksgiving day, so great support here. I'm looking forward to see the condo renovated next year.
