4th of July Weekend
For the amount of time we spent in the room it was great. But you might check for bed bugs or fleas. My wife was itching all over her body all weekend and my brother in law had 5 fleas in his socks.

Overall great experience, location cannot be beat!
Some major downsides, access to the in-room washer and dryer was locked out with no guest access. The balcony sliding glass doors did not lock. The neighbors smoking marijuana traveled into the HVAC leaving our room smelling like dope. The fire alarm for the unit went off several times, the front office shrugged us off saying it was someone in the shower, maintenance was called and showed up almost two hours later, also triggered when we were checking out reason we were told the door was left open too long as we loaded luggage into the car.

Upstairs bedroom, mattress too firm for comfort. All else was good. I wish there were washer/dryer in condo.

Very satisfied with this condo. Had everything we needed. Very clean, sofas have been updated from the ones on the picture, which are very comfy. Do need a new mop because the one there was very stinky.

Condo was clean and had all necessary items. Only item i would suggest is to give more trash bags and dishwasher soap. One issue arose during our stay and while the initial contact from property manager was unacceptable, the manager immediately reached out and made it right. Appreciated that! Second time we have stayed and will probably stay again.

My family had a great time at El Constante 223! Very spacious, clean, well stocked as advertised. Items provided were sufficient for a 4 day stay (family of 6). There is a dollar general a few blocks away and HEB+ 15 minutes away which was very convenient. My only complaints are that the fridge didn't get cold until the middle of the second day and the stove burners were very loose and tilted forward. ** Just a reminder for those who have elderly or mobility issues, there are no elevators. There are lots of stairs to climb if you are on the second floor. Doable but with caution. (Living area is on the second floor and bedrooms and showers are on the third floor.) Overall it was a great place and location with excellent service and staff! We'll definitely be staying here again!

Beach Time
We had a wonderful time. The only complaint I have is that the cable TV system was very unreliable and only worked some of the time. I don't think you can blame this on the property.

Great Getaway
Everything is as pictured and description very clean great location right next to beach. Only downside they are doing construction ( I wasn't told prior) but if you don't mind being woke up at 8am by loud banging on walls.. I would just ask before going they are doing updates. Other then the loud construction Everything else was great.

Overall good - the stove top was in poor condition (almost non-functional) as the electric burners did not plug into their sockets well. Upstairs is a bit worn out, strange extra nails in the wall and other wear. Otherwise very functional and comfortable.

My only suggestions for improvement are more shower towels because 1 towel/person is not enough when there isn't a washer or dryer in the room, and a dust pan with a broom would have been nice, so we could very easily clean up the sand. I would definitely stay here again for a weekend trip.

Property was great; beach was a disappointment
My family has rented a condo at El Constante for decades and have always had a wonderful experience. This year was different. The PROPERTY was just fine and the staff was great. It was the BEACH that was such a disappointment. Cars, cars, CARS! We pay the premium to stay at El Constante because of the wonderful access to the beach, but our beach time was a disappointment. If we go again it will be after Labor Day and not on a weekend.

Perfect for families
The condo is a great space for a family - plenty of room! You can go to the beach and never have to use your car, so no vacuuming out sand when you’re finally home and tired. It’s a short walk even for little ones. They have a few games in the living room and about every kitchen tool you can think of. If you want coffee, there’s a pot, but you do need to bring your own. There are stairs leading to the front door so take note this unit actually takes up the second and third stories, which equates to fantastic views! Whoever decorated did a fantastic job - I would move in here if I could! We came the first weekend they opened after covid closures and we had to wait a bit for our units even though it was after the check in time of 4pm. I would have thought the units would all be completely ready to go since no one had been staying there, but, truly, that was the only downside to our visit. Irritating since we had to sit in the car waiting, but overall, no regrets and we’ll be back.

Loves It!
United very clean and comfy! Location was excellent!Kitchen sink was a little slow to drain.. but eventually did.. view from the balconies was great! Can't wait to come back!

Spacious. well maintained 2 story condo
Family of 4 stayed for the weekend. Spacious, clean and very close to the beach. Kitchen equipped with everything you could need. Plenty of extra sheets, blankets, towels. Great customer service from office representatives. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Perfect beach stay!
We had a great time at the Padre escapes El constante. The place was very nice and the management was very helpful with some minor issues. Everything we would need it was there including bath towels however it is limited to one per guest. Pool towels are provided at the office.

This is a great location for hanging out at the beach and then having a nice swim in their wonderful warm swimming pool.

The only real issue that we have was the couch as needed to be cleaned. if you are traveling with older people or anyone who struggles with steps you will need to make sure you're on the bottom floor.

Convenient Location, Decent Price but...
We've stayed here with family a few years ago and really liked it. I booked this rental not knowing there was construction going on. I was informed at check-in that that it was online on the description, but it was not when I made the reservation. It really wouldn't have been an issue if the construction wasn't RIGHT up to our door and there wasn't debri at our front door that was drug inside constantly and A PILE of debri and on the front balcony. I have pictures... The location is great, there is a fantastic pool and complex in general is good.

Mini Vacay Getaway
Qe enjoyed our stay in Room 223. My only complaint is the water never did get warm (for showers anddishwashing). I reported it to the front desk in case there was something wrong with the water heater. Other than that, the stay was very nice! Cold A/C, nice kitchen! We will definitely stay again!!

Wonderful Time
Got switched over to this unit after major issues with our beach front. While it’s not a beach front, this unit was absolutely perfect. Dune views from balconies, but you can definitely still see/enjoy the ocean. Bed in Master is very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Martinez Memorial Day Weekend
Basically, everything was wonderful except for just a couple of things. The sheets smelled sour on the master bedroom bed. It would also be nice if there was a coffee bar set up or let people know there is no provided coffee, salt, pepper or other basic items.

Excellent location and though they were working on replacing the stucco on the building by the pool and it was noisy and not very private, the staff made it a very pleasant stay.

Labor weekend beach getaway
Hello
Our 2 nights beach getaway over Labor Day was fabulous. The location was perfect, pool was outstanding as well as staff!!!
My only complaint would be the actual unit. It’s in desperate need of updates. Such as furniture but most of all mattresses! My hubby had a very difficult time sleeping on the bed. The coffee machine was leaking didn’t work either. :-( I would select a different unit next visit but I will definitely return. I just feel given the price you pay per night that the units should be comfortable for guests to enjoy and relax. I mean that’s just the responsibility of the unit owner in my eyes.

Family Beach Trip
We have been staying here for the last 4-5 years and we love it. It's right on the beach and it's quite, clean and we love just it. The only issue was the AC which I understand. It was not cool upstairs in the bedrooms as we would have liked but they do provide you with an extra fan in each room to help. Which was nice. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

July Family Reunion
We have been staying at El Constante for the past 12 years. Have stayed in all the rooms with the different views. The staff in the office have been friendly and helpful when needed.
