Dog breeds not permitted at El Constante due to HOA guidelines: Pit Bull-type, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Wolf-dog hybrid, or Husky-type (including Siberian)
Pet Fees: For stays of 1–29 days, the pet fee is $100 per pet plus a $50 cleaning fee, and for stays of 30+ days, the pet fee is $300 per pet plus a $100 cleaning fee
For long-term stays, mail may be forwarded to the property address and retrieved from the front office during the guest’s stay

Perfect Location For Access To Beach

We were looking for a quick getaway that would allow us to go for walks along the beach and have some quiet time. This location was perfect! We were on the beach within 2 minutes! We also enjoyed the hot tub each night and the home itself was very nice and clean. We will definitely come back here again!

GOOD STAY FOR THE PRICE

Great stay for the price and location, but the room is in need of some updating! Fans are rusting and don't run on high speed, with blades flopped down. Outlets in master bedroom faulty/broken. Master shower looks like its had a leak at the shower head, looks to be the start of mold growing. Ac took way too long to cool down. Entire upstairs was hot the whole weekend while down stairs was cold. Would stay again, hopefully with a few updates by the time we go back! But otherwise clean unit, great location, great pool, decent parking lot size!

Could use work

Our unit is in need of TLC. New paint, deep clean, repairs throughout. I have been staying at el constante for many years and this unit fell short. I see it’s listed for sale, maybe this is why it’s being squeezed for every last rental penny. We were highly disappointed.

Good but could be better.

Overall a decent location close to the beach. Loved that there was a full kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. Downsides, you are charged a cleaning fee, yet when you arrive the room is not very clean. There was dog hair/sand/dirt around on the floors. So it felt like we were being charged for something that wasn’t going to really be done adequately anyway. Beds were also not very comfortable.

Was perfect for our family and pet. Quick labor day weekend. Easy access from parking lot, and to the beach. Good supply of cooking utensils, etc. Do bring all your own food items, spices, coffee filters (12 cup pot with regular - not cone shaped - filter). Clean and comfortable. A lot of stairs if that is an issue...

Saved our girl’s trip!

Our weekend didn’t start out as planned but I called Padre escapes and they were able to get me into a last minute rental. The rental was perfect! It was walking distance to beach and had 2 balconies. One viewing the pool and the other the beach. The condo was clean and quiet. It was a packed weekend and we didn’t hear any noise from units or pool. Location was great to get around the island. Will use them again!

Nice Rental

Good location. Check in and out was super easy. You will have to memorize 2 codes, one for the unit and one for the pool.
The unit was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable except for the mattress pads being worn and would not stay in place.

Great as always but a few hiccups

El Constante was awesome as usual with location and scenery. However only having a few units that are dog friendly is causing some issues. We apparently can't get a unit with a washer and dryer anymore (even though it was pictures for #236) and half the plugs on living room and kitchen walls were dead. The hose for vehicle wash was broken the entire week, even though I turned it in multiple times. Golf Carts were not parked in designated spaces on rocks and never enforced.

Can’t beat it!

Second year in a row back at El Constante, first time in this condo. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Always love when there is a king bed. Large Tv’s. Would stay in this room again. Can’t beat a pool and walking to the beach.

The condo was just what we expected. Easy access from the parking lot and easy access to the beach. Large tv’s in the unit, even though they were rarely used. Plenty of space in the bedrooms and couch pull-out bed was useful as well. This is our third stay at this complex and the unit met all of our expectations.

Nice condo

Love this place, just a few disappointments.
We had to wait for our room to get inspected until 4pm once in room found sand still in both tubes. Guess it really never got inspected as they said they were doing. Need to request towels for room. Most disappointing was the 7hr black out on the entire island Sat. Nite and NOT knowing what was going on. Apparently Nobody knew Anything of what was going on. Thank goodness it wasnt a disaster..other than that I was a great visit and very nice condo..

Great location. Just a few minor improvements needed

The location & condo was great and had everything we needed for our family vacation. Will definitely be coming back. The only issue we had was that that while the down stairs temperature was great, the upstairs was quite warm, even with the fans in high. Minor problem as the upstairs is where the bedrooms are located.

Other than that, everything was wonderful and check in/out was a breeze. Can’t wait to book next summer.

3 STARS

It was a very cute place it's just no matter how cold I made it the coldness never made it upstairs it stayed really warm upstairs the ac seemed not to blow up there. Late at night into the early morning the swimming pool area you can hear screaming all night. Lots of drinking, yelling, loud profanity music playing. This made it hard to sleep especially for 4 nights. By the end of vacation I just wanted to hurry home so I could sleep.

I'm excited to rent again when the remodel is completed! I was concerned about the cleaning... when I first walked in, there was a drivers license in the middle of the floor from the previous renter. Makes me wonder if the fooor was cleaned at all. There was also a waded up clump of painters tape on the floor in the master bedroom. But overall I was pleased with the condo and it's amenities!
