Beware of the stairs
The room itself was great. However the stairs to get to the room are a bit much. We are in our 60’s and having to carry our stuff up and down was not fun. Especially when it came to our ice chest.
I would think twice about getting a room next to the pool only because of the loud music that was being played.
I would stay at this property again just a different room.

Quick trip to Padre
Enjoyed 3 nights in Padre in this condo. The unit is in great shape and the balcony over looking the pool was nice place to enjoy my morning coffee. The king size bed was comfortable and the pillows were plentiful. ( You don't always get enough pillows in a rental! ) The location to the beach was a plus. You can see the gulf from the bedroom window. We will definitely return on our next trip.

Right on the beach!
This property is in an excellent location if you love being on the beach in less than 5 minutes! If was clean and bright and had everything we needed. Only silly little thing was that it is right above the office, community room and laundry room. We could sometimes hear conversations from downstairs

Great Condo!
Nice condo! Great balcony overlooking the pool. Pool was surprisingly very nicely warmed for cooler weather. Great location to the beach. Only negative is mattress was not the best. Other than that...great stay! Would come back!

299k secret
299k is one of the best units imo.. its standalone, no neighbors, got the biggest balcony, and has the best view of the pool. If a beach view is not a priority, book 299k.

Memorial Weeknd Trip
Overall we thought the unit was decent for the money and location. The unit itself has no neighbors because it sits above the office which is a nice perk. You can hear the people in the office in the morning but we were already up by that time. The balcony oversees the pool area. The complex is right on the beach so it made travel back and forth very easy. The unit does not have a washer/dryer but you can exchange your towels in the office. The office also has beach/pool towels available so you don’t need to bring your own to the beach and you can exchange them whenever you want. This info about the towels was not made available to us. There were few negatives that I believe most could be fixed. The king bed is very hard and uncomfortable. That was part of the reason we did not get any sleep. There is only 4 total useable pillows so I would recommend bringing your own if you require more than one. The air conditioner blows cold but the air handler is in the master closet and is very loud when it is running. The living area gets colder than the bedroom. There are blinds on all of the windows but the complex keeps the lights on all night so it feels like sunrise even at 2am. Blackout curtains would be a great addition. The pool was nice but it didn’t seem like anyone was policing the wristbands so there seemed to be a lot of people swimming that were not staying at the complex. Overall, we might stay at the complex again for a short trip because of its location.

Convince on convivence

Only complaint about this condo is that it needs updated. Trim in bathroom is in poor condition. A good overall is needed to update but we loved the location in the condo complex. Above office and right next to pool. Condo location to beach is perfect!

Needs updates
We’ve stayed in this condo before and like that it has a nice pool view. But it needs a few major fixes, especially in the shower. The mold inside the fixtures is unsightly, but that’s not the real problem. The water pressure is barely more than a trickle. I understand water conservation, but it takes 3x as long to shower. I had to go buy a tub stopper to take a bath instead. There is only one decent frying pan; the others look 20 years old. The patio furniture is so gross you don’t even want to sit in it. The condo is spacious and has comfortable carpet. But overall, I don’t consider it up to El Constante standards.

The condo was as good as advertised. It is on top of the office so the balcony over looking the pool is twice the size of the other condos. The stairs are located insides the door so that helps beat the heat a little. There is a gate next to the entrance that quickly leads to the parking lot. This was our third time at El Constante so the rest of the condo/pool experience was as good as always.

Condo 299K refiew
Overall, it was great. However, the condo itself needs some upkeep. The toilet seems to be unlevel at best, and sitting on a rotten floor at worst. The paint is chipping away in multiple places, and the door to the patio is very difficult to open.

Still, the location is perfect, the staff was very nice, and the code locks on all the exterior gates are a great addition.

We’ve been coming to El Constante for 20 years, and we’ll be back!

Fun in the Sun
1 Bedroom, 1 Bath over office. Spacious and clean. Kitchen could be better stocked and stovetop takes a long time to get hot. Otherwise it was perfect!
Pool is well maintained and beach is a short walk out. Beach clean. It’s a great location and excellent for families. I told my friend about it and she’s planning a trip to Padre and wants to stay at El Constante.

Bad experience
Had to wait for rental to be ready. Once inside found the kitchen ceiling had a large size square plywood cover hanging down not fully attached to ceiling. Also right next to that,the a/c return vent was filthy and full of spider webs. Bad smell from kitchen also. Notified front desk in person and asked to please make repairs. Also asked for adjustment on rental price or future credit on future stay. Was asked to take pictures of complaints and send to front desk which I did. Checked out on time and I'm still waiting for a response.

El Constsante #299
Very nice Condo and convenient for our goals during our stay, which included fishing, dining, beach, relaxing, and visiting friends. The shower pressure in 299 could be much better, as well as a door matt to wipe our feet at the bottom of the stairs when entering. Friday night guest came in whom failed to adhere to the rules by the pool which included loud music and children under 12 in the hot tub. An employee on site after hours could have resolved this issue. Overall our goals were accomplished with a nice condo and an extremely professional and friendly staff. Thank you.

We do have security scheduled nightly during our summer season. We apologize they did not resolve this noise complaint and will get with them to ensure they are walking the property diligently. Thank you for the recommendations as these are great suggestions and we have since implemented.

Great Location right on the beach - pool added bonus
We really enjoyed our stay in unit 299K. It was spacious and well kept. We liked the location as it has a great view of the pool area.

At night we noticed that there is a door under the bedroom/bathroom that was constantly banging closed. Not sure who was going in and out at all hours of the night.


The only thing that needs improvement is the kitchen. It needs a few more items to make it complete: more butter knives (there is only one) cookie sheet, pizza cutter, more ice cube trays, more cutting knives, and pot holders.

Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay at El Constante again.

Beach Getaway
Nice property. Walking proximity to beach. Property undergoing what appeared to be exterior upgrades. My unit needed some upgrades to kitchen especially ceiling, a/c vents, and sink. Overall, the unit was clean, bed was comfortable, fresh linens provided and a fully stocked kitchen. I would definitely revisit this property. Front office was pleasant and responsive.

Perfect location !
This cozy property was the perfect location for a walk to the beach, a nightly swim in the pool and a short drive into town for dinner and shopping. It had everything we needed for a few days stay.

Most beautiful place and time spent there
From check in to check out the front desk clerk was all smiles and absolutely amazing. She made us feel very welcomed and I LOVED that. It felt like we were going to our friends and families houses if I had to describe it. Once we got inside the little condo was so perfect/clean/COMFORTABLE. Everything I could of asked for plus more.

Great location
We enjoyed staying on the beach and having such easy access! The keyless entry was nice to have so you didn’t have to mess with a key. We were above the office and would hear people talking a lot. The unit definitely needed to be updated. There were things that were not sturdy and rusty in bathroom, door mechanism on porch door was simply broken and hanging when we arrived. Appliances in kitchen needed updating. A huge bulge in ceiling that we thought would bust at any moment. Lots of paint touch ups. It just needs a little TLC. We would stay again just simply of location. It fit our family of 4 well! Liked the open space.

Great Location, but needed some cleaning
The balcony was amazing. The El Constante property is our favorite place to stay due to the location and amenities. However, we stayed before and did not have an issue with another condo. This condo looked like it had not been cleaned in a while or not thoroughly cleaned. I was glad I brought cleaner.

Family Beach Vacation
The online description was accurate, the photos showed exactly what the unit looks like, and the unit was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay there again! Only a few minor issues: 1) the shower head needs to be replaced, as the shower was almost unusable. 2) the lack of laundry facilities onsite was EXTREMELY disappointing, as we packed with the expectation of being able to do laundry at the location. 3) the cleaning staff needs to clean the inside of the toilet bowl under the rim, it was disgusting.

Clean and convenient
The apartment is very clean and well maintained. It has a large balcony facing the pool. Our family really enjoyed the close distance to the beach and various restaurants on the island. The front desk staff was very friendly and gave us all the information we need for using the pool and check-out etc. We will definitely come back.

Great spot, didn’t have any issues with checking in or checking out. The pool was right in front of our unit. The beach was a 5 minute walk from our unit. Had a great experience and our family was satisfied. We will book again soon.

A great stay!
We had a great stay! The location was perfect! The unit is great because there is no one above or below us and the large private balcony overlooking the pool was awesome. We were a family of 4 and only got 2 bath towels but I’m sure if I would have asked for more we would have been given some with no problems because the staff was great and very accommodating! Thank you!

Room 299 at El Constante
Not a pleasant experience. Since the room is right above the office we had to take extra care not to make too much noise & with children is hard to do. Office called when kids were running & I felt at that point that our stay was unwelcome. On our 2nd day office requested to view their camera system which was located in our room. Did not like how camera system was in our room or the fact that the room was right above the office. This 4 night stay was definitely not worth $788.

Spring Break weekend
We have stayed an El Constante for years and we love it. We also love seeing all the improvements being made. We stayed in 299 which is right above the office, we have never stayed in that unit before. We loved it but the microwave was not working, hopefully once we return it will he taken care of.
