Finding the unit was easy and plenty of parking. The unit was clean for the most part besides a couple cockroaches that we killed over our stay. The bathtub was a nightmare and by far the slipperiest with about a 5 inch flat spot on the bottom. If you have kids, definitely don’t stay here, as they can’t even take a bath because there isn’t a drain stopper and after our daughter face planting the first night in there, she scream scared to get back in. Accident waiting to happen.

The water front is nice but the air is filled with marijuana smoke at all times of the day with people smoking it on their balconies and standing around fishing and smoking. Not a good spot for kids.

As for the concerns regarding smoke in shared outdoor areas, we understand how that can impact your stay, especially with children, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Great extended weekend stay for my husband's birthday. The rental was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy including the pillows. The place was very clean. We only went to the pool once for 1/2 hour, but seemed nice. The location was nice. Perfect location--centrally located to either drive to downtown Corpus Christi which was enjoyable or to Port Aransas. Also beach parks close by: Whitecap beach was very nice and enjoyed the beach next to Packery Channel. The water was beautiful, especially next to the channel, even saw many sea turtles hanging out at the channel because the water was so beautifully clear. After checking out, we cruised on down to Port A to Winton's Island Candy Shop (highly recommended) and then to the Sip Yard for lunch and drinks...wish we could have stayed for the band. Very popular and very cool music venue with 3 outdoor levels, covering from sun on the first and second floors with beautiful views of marna. Very highly recommend and will be back to visit the Sip Yard when we can stay for the band. Probably best to stay nearby, traffic can get thick. Final stop on the way home was the Boiling Pot for Shrimp, sausage, corn and cold beer. All in all....a great trip with great accomodations.

I met up with family members renting a few other units. We had a total of 4 units. They were all clean and well kept. The area is awesome and fishing off the back boat docks while waiting on others to organize was a great distraction.

As always, it was super easy to book and find the property that was in a great location. My only issue is the sofa pillows did have some odor and could be washed. The parking was clear in the description, however, the marking of certain spots could be marked with bigger signs.
The space was perfect for the two of us along with pool and fishing location. I'd stay again and would recommend.

We experienced several issues with quality of cleaning from utensils, dirty in the drawers to dirt and build up on the stove and other areas, of course water bug roaches on the wall the shower stall liner is very small and unsteady no rails to catch hold of uneven bottom of the tub sink drain not working properly in bathroom. I notified management group that the signs for tow away If not properly part, had midinformation on them.
And we misleading, which I called the management company about and reported why it was never remedied before me was unexplainable

At check-in, we inform our guests that open parking is available in the angled parking area not labeled or assigned to specific units. The HOA will tow any vehicles unauthorized to park in assigned spots. We will work to improve our communication to prevent any confusion moving forward.

The only issue was it had lots of nats and an Oder from kitchen sink. I put bleach in sink and smell and nats disappeared. Other than that I loved it.

What a fun little condo! We took our grandkids for the week and upon arriving the condo was nice and cool, with music playing. Check in was an absolute breeze. The condo itself was very clean had everything we needed and more. We were a tad hesitant to rent after reading the last review, however I am so glad we took the plunge. Whatever issues the last reviewer had must have been taken care of as we thought the whole place was great. Even with the 4 of us staying there for a week, it never felt like we were on top of each other, for a one bedroom it was actually pretty roomy. The pull out sofa bed was very comfortable and our grandkids slept all night - in fact the even slept in. They loved playing in the pool with their grandpa while I cooked dinner. One of their favorite moments was getting up early for the sea turtle release, what a great experience. Grandpa and I loved sitting out on the patio watching the kids fish right in front of the condo, they even caught a few fish. I found it so relaxing to sit outside in the early morning with cup of coffee watching the sunrise! Our entire stay from booking to checkout was super easy and the team at Padre Escapes were exceptionally friendly. We highly recommend this condo and can't wait to come back with the kiddo's next year. Thanks Padre Escapes!

1. if you enjoy watching movies at the end of the day, bring a roku or fire stick as the condo only has local channels.
2. bedroom TV had no cable reception
3. Dryer doesn't work well, had to run it 5 times to dry our clothes
4. We had a problem with late night noisy neighbors for 3 nights in a row which was not addressed by the hoa despite complaints
5. found trash and dirty socks behind the dresser in the bedroom
6. visible mold around AC vents

Thank you for your feedback, this is certainly not up to our normal standard. There has been an issue with the cable which have worked with the HOA on addressing and has since been addressed. We have had an appliance repair person address the dryer too. Fortunately the neighbors change out regularly so the noisy neighbors were there for just a short time. We have addressed your housekeeping concerns with that department as well. Thank you again for your feedback, we will do better going forward.

There are not many complexes on the island with boat trailer parking but we do offer parking at a storage facility here on the island. The item left in the washing machine was an oversight on our part and will be addressed with the housekeeping department.

My husband and I stayed for a few days to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. My husband loves to fish and I thought it would be a great way to get in fishing in the early morning and late eve and then spend the day at the beach. It was perfect! He did pretty good fishing and the place was clean and comfortable. No complaints at all. We had what we needed and then some. We are allready planning a trip for my husband and son to use the same

Our stay was great. Condo was very clean. Walked into a cool condo with music playing. Padre Escapes was very easy to book through. The only disappointment was I received a text and email informing us the condo was available for an additional night and to respond if we were interested. We responded by both means but never received a reply back so we checked out on our scheduled day. Other than that, it was great and would rent again.

Loved the condo stay. Great place vert comfortable and cozy. Comfortable beds even the sofa bed had new mattress which was quite comfortable. Located near the beach, restaurants and stores. Nice pool, great place to fish. Friendly people. Will definitely go back.

We traveled from Colorado for a quick beach trip. Our two kids loved fishing from the multiple piers right out the back door, and being only minutes from the beach it meant we could still quickly make it home for dinner. Plenty of restaurants and stores in the area for when they’re needed, but the stocked kitchen was wonderful! Extremely comfortable king bed in the bedroom. Would stay here again and again!
