This waterfront townhome is located on North Padre Island in Corpus Christi. Mustang Island State Park is approximately 7 miles away. Padre Island National Seashore is about 15 miles away. Downtown Corpus Christi is roughly 20 miles away. The USS Lexington and Texas State Aquarium are approximately 26 miles away.

great location
Very nice location with easy access to the beach. Canal behind homes was nice for easy fishing/crabbing access. I don't remember seeing anything warning us to bring our own propane bottle if we intended to cook outdoors on the grills. There are signs down there stating you have to bring your own propane. That's a bit of a hassle but i understand. Home is very typical for corporate owned properties. Repair standards were a bare minimum to maximize profits. Our stay was very affordable so I'm not mad, but the dryer did not work so we couldn't finish laundry, only one burner on the stove will stay on, the balcony door knob fell off during our stay, and the hallway carpets up stairs definitely need to be cleaned.

Fabulous for Family
All our basic needs were met and the place grew on us pretty much immediately. Loved the layout and ambiance. We appreciated being informed in advance that there would be nothing but minimal necessities.

Plenty of Space!
There was plenty of space. A good layout for a larger group. The kitchen/living room area had enough room for us all to be together. Garage...small but nice to have to unload. Not a bad walk to the beach.
Wishes/suggestions:
1. floor level shower never worked. called maintenance and they text us something to do but i finally had to send them a picture for them to come out because it was obvious a piece was missing to make the shower work. said it would take several days for part to come in. we never could use the shower and that was hard since it was a perk to have a house with 3 showers for our large group. kinda a hassle.
2. water hose to rinse off sand and would help you too from tracking it in the house.
3. full length mirror somewhere...anywhere just at least 1 so we could see. we had 8 girls nowhere to view.
4. doubt there is anything you can do, but water pressure is not good. super hard...calling for long showers to get longhair wet, washed and repeat. 8 girls with longhair. again, nothing much to do but renters need to plan on the time.
5. check-in and out was easy.

Great vacation place to stay
Great little house to stay at. Location was perfect. Wasn’t on the beach but it was super close. Property management was real helpful with the few problems we had. Good communication skills and got things resolved quickly. Would stay here again.

Save your money
I’ve stayed in Padre Escapes homes and have generally had a great experience; however it seemed that no one had checked on this property in quite some time. From the faucet in the sink, to all of the showers not working, the dirty carpet upstairs, the closet door falling off the railing, etc this his house left much to be desired. When discussed with property management I kept hearing the same thing “I’m so sorry; this house is not up to our standards”. So why it is up for rental is beyond me.
