Our yearly visits to Nemo Cay are priceless. This year a couple of the showers had low pressure and not as warm as usual but we made it work.

The place was very clean and spacious. Great Location to the beach. The only issue we had was that the AC blew very cold upstairs and the downstairs bedroom was warm at the same time it was very cold upstairs. Pool was great for the kids.

Overall, we really enjoyed the unit at 15105 Nemo Cay. We had a few issues, (crack in dining room table made before our stay, tear in sofa also before our stay, hot and cold water in downstairs bathroom shower) but the rental personnel took care of those promptly. This is the second year my wife and I stay in this unit. We sleep in the downstairs bedroom. This bedroom is always warmer than the rest of the unit. I guess this is not a fixable problem. Severe storms in the area may have caused leaking at the base of our bedroom. I did notify the Padre Escape know about this problem.

Overall, this was an extremely clean and comfortable unit. We did have issues with the kitchenware in the unit. There were too many steak knives but not one paring knife. There was too much clutter in the cutlery drawer! The pans had no lids that fit them properly. We used two covers that did not fit well and were awkward to use. The Nemo staff members we met were very courteous and a joy to talk to! The one man told us he would be trimming the palms. He spoke to my grandson about good fishing places. It was a pleasure to meet and talk to this man!

Overall the weekend was good. I definitely recommend this resort. My only complaint about the condo is that the first bedroom down stairs is very uncomfortable to sleep in. It is very hot and the bedrooms up stairs are very cold. I thought the pool area was very nice and very clean. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to friends and family.

The homes are always clean. They usually have extra sheets and amenities for 12. Bottom bathroom had no water pressure and the top two seem to have issues as well. Kids like to spend the day at the beach and when parents are tired, we can come and relax at the pool while kids continue to have fun.

Rental was nice overall. My only complain would be that the pillow tops and roll out beds have fresh pillow cases and linens. Especially the roll out bed.

Overall great place and location and we would like to go back but maybe a different unit.
Check in was rough, I was guaranteed 4pm check I'm, didn't get to check in till 4:45pm.
Some dishes were dirty which was crazy because we got a late check in because they were cleaning.
The roll outs beds had urine stains and they caved in when you laid down.
Then on our last night the A/C goes out for about an hour in the middle of night.
I spoke to Amber and although she was really nice there was really nothing she could do until check out..

Lots of space! Only the upstairs shower worked. I had to carry my disabled daughter up and down the stairs to take showers. A/c does not work in the bottom front room. The ventilation is bad, you will wake up sweating. The rest of the rooms were ice cold. I have stayed in many of these rentals at this same location and none as bad as this one. I did not feel the need to call and complain, we made it work. Place was clean and stocked with the normal things we needed.

We don't see were you made this report during your stay, please be sure to always make us aware so we can do everything possible to remedy the situation. As you know, selling the condo is out of our control but we hope we can find something for you that is comparable for you to enjoy during winter.

Is just as described, the place was clean, and in a good location. The family really enjoyed going out to corpus for the weekend and enjoying the beach. Checking in and out was so easy and there was no issues while staying.

Listed below are issues we found with Nemo Cay D105K:
• The TV in one of the guest rooms did not work. Maintenance did fix.
• Low shower pressure
• Cheap plastic toilet seats for use of occupants in master bedroom
• There should be more useable utensils in the kitchen. Who needs two wine bottle openers? Have useable knives, like a paring knife or butcher knife.
• Fry pans had loose handles. This could be safety issue.
• Dresser draws stuck and hard to open. Felt like cheap furniture.
• Back door stuck and was hard to open. I had to push my body into door for it to open! In addition, closing it was ridiculous!


Overall issues:
• Either get more trash dumpsters or get recycle dumpsters
• I walked through the complex and only found two blue trash dumpsters
• Both dumpsters appear to spill over with trash, when guest leave on a weekend.
• Many complexes in SATX have recycle dumpsters
• Recycle dumpsters would cut back on trash
• If installed, mark the recycle dumpsters clearly, so guests know NOT to use for trash.
• I noticed many
• Clarify with guest that any visitors are not to park in paying customers parking slots. We had a young woman park in the 105 parking and I had to ask her to move.

The townhouse was nice and clean. However, we were able to hear our neighbors throughout the night. The back door was difficult to close. The AC was extremely cold in one of the upstairs rooms, and rest of townhouse was not as cool. Pillows were not comfy and very used.

This place was very spacious & nice. The only drawback was the size of parking spaces. They're too tight making parking or leaving a little difficult. Would recommend but would warn of parking spaces.

The A/C upstairs was great, downstairs was very warm. They even had a standup fan-a/c unit in the bedroom. Maybe from prev. problems. No hot water downstairs bathroom luke warm at best. Very little water pressure in all bathrooms. No towels in 1 upst. bathroom. Unit was clean and large. Parking was so tight that you could not open side drs to cars. Everyone had to exit vehicle before parking, side mirrors on large vehicles had to be closed to park. Get rid of rocks and plants in each section to allow cars to park & be able to open drs. The street to get to this property was not lit and you had to do a turn around to get into it. A cut thru could have easily been added. With all the machines in the street it was difficult to access.

Thank you for the feedback, we will have to check into those AC and hot water issues. That's not something we've heard before. The city would have to add that cut through and they also require a certain amount of landscaping which is why you have rocks and plants you mentioned above. We had 2 families of 6 staying. The condo was clean, nice, and big enough for all 12 of us. Padre Escape have a wonderful heated pool, kiddie pool, and playground fo the kids. The next day was available, and we were asked if we wanted to stay for a 30% discount. We definitely did! We will book again this summer.

Nemo Cay is an amazing facility. The location was central to the island, but also nestled back in its own private space. The condo was extremely spacious, with plenty of room for family and friends. I love that each bedroom had its own private bath, and that the laundry was upstairs. The facility pool has an island feel, and we enjoyed grilling while kids played (but bring your own bbq utensils- condo has none).
There were a few “minuses”: the furniture was pretty worn, and obviously had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to us staying. *we found baby socks, a bottle, snacks and a chew toy in the cushions, and under, the couch ��. Everything else was sparkling, so I am assuming it was accidentally overlooked- as we have stayed with Padre Escapes properties many times over the years. The other negative was that the downstairs bedroom never really got cool. Our guests had to sleep with the portable fan (thankfully provided) on full blast, and their door open, all night, to keep from getting too hot.

**Overall, we loved our stay- would definitely recommend and will be back.

Some suggestions: the homeowner might add more cooking supplies/utensils/coffee filters (or even the washable basket filter), and seating out on the back “porch” area. Updated and clean living room furniture (primarily couch) would be great- and this location is fantastic, and relaxing..

**also: the premises IS pet friendly- dogs will relieve themselves on rocks- DO NOT TAKE THEM to the grass by the road- beach stickers are no joke. The whole property is rock instead of grass, which was frustrating- until we found out why... pulling MEGA stickers out of a labradoodle puppy was no fun!

Our stay was fantastic! You’re super close to several beaches and restaurants, there is always something to do! You’re a 20 minute drive to Padre Island National Seashore, we were able to watch one of their Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle hatchling releases! It was quite the experience! The pool was amazing for both children and adults!

We decided to select this property of the pictures and they did not disappoint. We loved the location, the pool, the closeness to multiple beach locations, the space in the property and the in house laundry room. I did how ever felt a little disappointed that the property did not offer coffee or sugar, 2 items that are not that expensive and help guest start there day not having to go out and drive to purchase these items. Other than that little detail (Little Things that matter), We enjoyed our stay and will return and recommend to others.

The property management team was very helpful and answered all my questions. The rental was clean and centrally located. I noticed some rentals had back porches and chairs or a deck. I wish I had known when I booked. We could have used the bigger space. Overall, would definitely stay again.

This was great! The unit was clean and fully stocked with everything we could have needed (toiletries, towels, blankets, detergent cooking tools..ICE MAKER!!!!) the only draw back was late check in fee when the unit has a coded door and not a key. that could have been sent via secure email/text and saved us and the poor realtor the trouble.

our place was very nice and the padre escape people were very helpful. We missed not having a seating area outside like a little patio or something.. It was a drive to the beach, which we were understood to be only 5 minutes away. But the pool area was very nice..The townhouse was great for 3 couples and the staff was very accommodating. It needs walkways or more to do at the resort.

Lots to like about this place. The keyless entry was great, no keeping up with bulky keys and I could send the code to the others staying with us. The beds were soooo comfortable. It was a cold week but the condo was comfortable the whole time. Internet and cable was great. Furniture was comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which makes mornings go so much easier. Nice to park right in front of the unit. The kids (4 & 6) enjoyed the playground. Pool was heated and would have been nice if the outside temp was a little warmer (under 40 most of the time). Kitchen had plenty of dishes and everything we needed, nice big fridge. Would definitely stay here again.

Really nice property, we Loved it! Only thing is there were ants every wherein the home...on the stairs, kitchen, in side microwave, dining area and living room. There was any spray under the sink, so someone must have known about the ant problem. These were biting one's too, I got bit twice. Be careful if you are allergic ants.

We apologize for the ant issue. The property is getting sprayed every 30 days and Yes we are providing the ant spray just in case it's not enough. Every year we gather with our children and grandchildren. We rented 2 cottages side by side and it worked our really great. Everything was clean and well-equipped. We were told we would have 2 roll-away beds, but sofa beds were being used instead. Management responded to our needs in a very quick manner. Even though Schlitterbaun was not open we still were able to find other activities for the children even though they were farther away. Great pool, nicely decorated, quiet location, but no view of the water. Great place to view the 4th of July fireworks on the island.
