Good location
The condo is in a very good location, can’t get any closer to the beach, however the guests in the condo next to us were very rude by staying up on their balcony talking, screaming and playing music until 4-5 AM every night of our 3 night stay! I called the after hours number all 3 nights but nothing was done about it. They had more than the standard amount of people that could be in a condo—multiple families in one condo. The only positive is the condo was stocked perfectly and the rooms were great for our family of four.

We had problem with 1 of the showers called and they had maintence there in 15 minutes. Staff was kind and caring.

Awesome place
We had a lovely stay. Kids were able to fish on the dock, the outdoor space is lovely. The house was completely clean and with all you can ask for a weekend stay. We didn't walk to the beach, we used the car with the 3 kids and parking is free. I wasn't a fan of the beach because all the cars parked on the sand.

Okay
It was ok. There were several annoying things that made me regret getting this rental over other options of the same price. The WiFi didn’t work for our tv until the day before we left after 4 or 5 different maintenance people came. The back gate was broken as well as the water hose. There was a remote missing in one of the bedrooms. There was a loose piece of siding banging against the wall all night in the lower bedroom. There was no ice maker in the fridge. Too expensive for all these little things that made the stay just ok.

Perfect, we enjoyed it very much. My only suggestion is to remove carpeting on the stairs. Although the place was clean everywhere else.. the carpeting on the stairs was old and dirty. Time to upgrade!

Nice place, but could not accommodate 10.
We booked this place for a short stay while in Corpus for a tournament. Thankfully, we only had 7 people. We planned to use the futon sleeper in the loft area, but quickly found out it would not work to sleep on. There were 2 metals bars that prevented any comfortable sleep. The fan in the bunk room was too loud. It seemed to be stuck on high which made it hard to sleep with the noise. The balcony was not used since it was hard to open the door. The location to the beach was nice. Overall it met our needs. The pictures made it seem bigger then it was.

Great place to stay
This is a great place for fisherman needing a bed for Baffin. I didn’t see it in the description but when planning your stay, if you gonna have a boat and trailer you can keep it on the street and there is plenty of room. We didn’t do the boat slip because we were traveling to Bird Island to launch but slip was in good shape. Overall this was a great place to stay.

Beach vacay
Door lock broke early in stay. The company didn’t listen to my explanation so when they sent someone to fix it, he fixed the door that wasn’t broken. We were unable to lock our front door for a full day. The place has the bare and I mean bare necessities. 1 roll of paper towels for a 4 day stay. 1 towel per person and only 1 laundry detergent. Bare essentials in kitchen. Overall good stay but these little things could have made it better.

King bed was a tad soft but a ok. lots of pillows & blankets available. Sofa was a bit worn down - not real comfy to sit on. Kitchen well equipped. Liked the walk in shower-very convenient & e-z in & out. Great location for pool/beach access. Would stay again

Good Location
Good location and amenities like the pool. Spacious enough for two families with kids. It was thoughtful to include a floor mattress and toys for kids and other things useful for the beach. But some things that were to be included as per the listing were not, for example handwash. We brought everything else like shampoo and beach towels but being expected to supply our own hand wash for 2.5 bathrooms and the kitchen was kind of ridiculous. We were only provided 4 towels for 6 guests on the whole. No extra comforters or blankets. The extra pillows provided had covers on them that had pieces of hair/dust. Some of the utensils and plates that were in the drawers were crusty (with dishwasher pod residue??) and we had to wash everything that we wanted to use again. Some of the light bulbs were burnt out in the dining area. The non stick pots and pans had peeling bottoms and need to be replaced.

Thank you for your detailed review! We do include hand wash bars, however not liquid soap, for each bathroom (2 per bathroom, 1 per half bath). The extra linens are located in the master bedroom closet for the additional sleeping areas, we will post a sign stating such to avoid future confusion. A bit disappointed
The property was what I expected but I was disappointed that the light under the vent/over the stove was not working. One of the kitchen lights was also out. It was hard preparing meals in a dimly lit kitchen. The beds were uncomfortable and loud. If you moved the mattresses made a loud sound. The toilet in the master bedroom was clogged and slow draining. We avoided using it. The blinds in the doors were tricky to use and seem to be breaking down. Given that we were there 5 days/4 nights we did not have enough towels. Thankfully we didn't have the 10 people the unit is advertised to accommodate or we would have been sharing damp towels. I got detergent and washed the towels so not a huge deal. A universal remote control would be easier to use versus the 3 remotes in the living room. I also couldn't figure out how to start the dishwasher but that may have been operator error. The location made up for the inconveniences. Close to the beach but not so close that there is sand everywhere. The reservation process seems to be automated so easy enough.

Perfect!
This unit was rented for the bridal party for my daughters wedding. There was more than enough space for the bride, her 3 bridesmaids and two flower girls- children of 2 of the bridesmaids. Space for all to get ready, sort the flowers on the island and dining table, etc. This unit was lovely, clean, convenient to the wedding location on the beach. Everyone raved about this unit the most. Everyone also loved the view of the water from the bedroom upstairs. Was a perfect choice!

Great Place to Stay
This was our fifth trip back to El Constante and booking with Padre Escapes. I have never been disappointed with a visit. The staff is always friendly and the condos are in a great location. Great stay
We had a great stay at this rental. It was clean, enough space, & we especially appreciated the big dining table. Location is just a 2 minute drive to the beach. There is a boardwalk, but we had small children so we drove. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Can't beat the view
We had a lovely stay. We were a short walk to the beach. The condo was well appointed. Lines were comfortable. The master bedroom mattress was very loud and not very comfortable but the other beds were fine. The living and dining furniture were comfortable and in good condition. The pool was refreshing and in good shape except the day it was green but was resolved the next day. We did discover the master bath shower was leaking and the management company indicated they would have it fixed after we left due to the depth of work. The kitchen was well appointed with all of the usual things needed for meal prep and cooking. We did have to wash a few items before using as they had not been well cleaned. A warning of you have kids and they run around upstairs it is loud. It did not bother us as we saw it mentioned prior to our stay. Overall this is a nice property and management company was responsive and communicated well.

Great property, but with some issues
The property is well located, very comfortable. But one of bedrooms had no lights. A guy was sent to fix it, with no success. Apparently it was a big problem, because the guy never came back and my daughter had to stay in a bedroom with no light. Also, they should give more attention to the cleanliness. The fans were full of black dust, which was not good to our allergy. The drain of the kitchen sink was really dirty.

Great trip!
Everything went so smoothly and the townhouse was great! Padre Escapes was organized and made this rental so smooth. The townhouse was perfect - two tv areas (one for kids and one for adults!), beautiful view off the top deck, easy access to the beach, and a great pool. We’ll definitely book here again.

Great location (especially for families)
This was such a great location! We were able to walk to the beach, the pool was only 5 feet at the deepest (which is great for our kids who are still working on mastering swimming), and the property was filled with friendly families. We would definitely recommend and will likely be back to this property!

Great location! Could be a little more comfortable
The property location was great! The space was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking all of our meals. The addition of curtains in the bedrooms would have made the WORLD of difference. There are security lights outside ball bedrooms that kept the kids and grownups awake all night. Overall, we had a great stay. It was nice to be able to log into Netflix downstairs and let the kids unwind with their favorite movies.

Horrible maintenance
So me and my family didn’t end up enjoying our vacation that much, on the first day we walked in and it looked nice but beds were dirty and not enough towels for each person and we got locked out from the house and we called to get someone to open the door and nobody came until about an hr but the maintenance finally came he was super rude. Also the cable, internet and living room power were out for 2/3 of our days stayed there so we had nothing to do when we were resting there and we called a couple times to send someone and we waited a couple hrs and a person showed up but had to end up sending someone else so the job never got done for that and we checked out early.

We apologize for these inconveniences. The beds you're refering to weren't dirty, it was the trundle bed which didn't have a sheet on it yet. We put the sheets for trundle and sleeper sofas in the master bedroom closet along with the extra towels for those guests as well. You guys locked yourselves out after hours (despite the signs we have posted). We got someone there as soon as possible, if they were rude we certainly apologize for that. There is no excuse for rudeness. Cable and wifi can be problematic here on the island. We live in secluded location and have no control over these type of issues, we do our best to handle them when they came up. Again we apologize for these inconveniences but we do appreciate your feedback.

Beautiful house rental
Three bedrooms were beautifully decorated and spotless every convenience was available for cooking up your meals. Right across the street from a beautiful sandy beach with a noardwalk. Throughly enjoyed the home and I would give it a five star rating.

Good location
Our townhouse was very nice. We liked the open floor plan. It was located close to the beach. The unit was clean except for the stairs that were filthy. The outside doors on the side of the unit by the road we’re difficult to open making it difficult to enjoy the balcony and patio.

Home away from home!
The pictures do no justice! We rented out the place for a few days for my husband and I and our children and grandkids. Loved the open space and how cozy it felt. The balcony overlooking the water was a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed and even things we didn’t even know we needed. Will definitely be renting here again!

Enjoyable
First time renting in Port A area... it was a nice enough townhome. Seemed clean and common area was spacious. Some of the door locks seemed stuck so patio access was tough. It was conveniently walking distance to the beach access area but about 20-30 mins from the more touristic shops and restaurants of Port A. Had TWO NIGHTS with noisy neighbors playing music and making lots of noise on their patio til 3 a.m. BUT it's summertime, I guess. Overall, not a bad experience.

Our Stay at S Padre Island Dr. Corpus Christi, Tx.
We would definitely rent this particular unit again or floor plan again. We found the kitchen/living room space to be much more comfortable than the 4 bedroom unit we rented last October. Both were a great experience. The 3 bedroom fit our needs better because of the added space in not having a bedroom down stairs. You can also rent a covered boat storage unit that is very close by.

We would have liked the extra sheet sets to be marked for sizing. Being late to arrive and tired, it would have been great to automatically know what sheets fits on the couch bed and what set fits the futon. The sheets and extra blankets were not together in one closet. Please put them in the same spot. So much easier for tired exhausted eyes to find. Bed pillows would have been appreciated for both.

The beach was rough. The water was full of seaweed and “hardly could see baby crabs or crab larvae”. The little crabs will either sting or make a pinch but don’t seem to leave a mark. As soon as you dry off, you don’t even know they were on you. We have been going to this beach for years and have never seen them before. They were a pest and curtailed our “play in the surf time”. As a result, we used the pool area every day. All the guest were respectful. Pool was kept clean and beautiful.

Padre Escapes is also near the Padre Island National Seashore where there are two boat ramps. The fishing is usually good.

The staff at Padre Escapes is friendly and will answer silly questions with ease. We will return.

Absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend!
The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Perfect location to the beach and a beautiful pool to enjoy. It was even nicer in person than the pictures! And so many beds! There was plenty of room to be comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is instruction on the parking because that was weird and for staying 3 days we definitely needed more than the 2 trash bags and 2 dishwasher pods that were left. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again!
