Rental unit was clean (a few exceptions) well sized and very comfortable.
The location was perfect and the grounds were clean and secure.

We love this area and this was our first time at Seahorse. The homeowners were nice and welcoming. The condo was nice, clean, and spacious. The beach was within walking distance. My only negatives were: The pool was cold (no heater), there wasn't much of a view from the room, and the silverware had small jagged edges on the spoons. All of these are super minor of course. The HOA is currently voting on installing a heater (fingers crossed). We waited for the sun to heat up the water to be able to swim. The pool area is nice and relaxing. Again we enjoyed our stay and will be back if the heater is approved.

This condo was the perfect location for our March getaway. The beach is across the street, and there are restaurants, grocery store, and other necessities within two miles, but conveniences of the larger city of Corpus Christi nearby. Padre Escapes was an excellent company to work with. Check in and out were easy, and when issues arose during our stay, they were prompt and very attentive. Overall, we were pleased and plan on returning to the area.

Condo was a wonderful place to stay for our family. Clean, safe, comfortable and enough space were high on our must haves and this was exactly that. Condo included comfortable living room seating for our family, comfortable dining table we played games at, clean kitchen full of necessities to cook and clean up after. Add to all those amenities and this condo had a nice view of the gulf water from the living room and dining room. We will definitely be making this one a favorite for our future stays.

Took the family to Corpus Christi and found this lovely Beach location. Majestic views of the ocean, nicely decorated condo, and just a few steps away to the beach. Clean, cozy, great amenities, and comfortable atmosphere afforded our family a relaxing stay for the weekend. We will definitely be returning.

Overall, we enjoyed our short stay at the property. We especially liked the comfort of the beds and the ample towels provided. Most of the property was clean, but a few areas needed attention. The check-in / check-out process was easy. The website was useful for finding restaurants and attractions around the property.
1) The coffee maker should have a filter. You should not expect tenants to know what type of filter they are required to bring with them.
2) The dishware tray does not have wheels in the front, making it very hard to push the tray back in when it is full of dishes.
3) All but two pots and pans are usable.
4) heavy mold around the washer needs to be cleaned.

The furniture came apart when the kids sat on it. All sofas and chairs in disrepair. The condo had bright white lights, which felt more institutional than vacational. There were no pillow cases. We had to login our own streaming services bc there was hardly entertainment. The beds were soft and uncomfortable, like achy back the next day, uncomfortable. I won’t stay again, especially not with a family. If yr not gonna do anything but pass out it might be the place for you, but we’re done with Padre Escapes.

Where to begin. Walked in and found a huge brown streak on the white bedspread, don’t even want to know...management did send someone to swap it out. The hideabed/couch should just be thrown away. Couldn’t even sit on it let alone sleep on it, that guest had to sleep in the recliner. The necessities, trash bags, laundry soap, toilet paper etc were inadequate for a four night stay with 3 adults and 2 children. Pantry stunk terrible. Dresser drawers don’t slide easily. Basically the unit is very run down. The residents dogs bark at guests going to and from unit. This is our 2nd stay at the property but first time was in a different unit and the first visit was vastly better. Never again will we choose this location.

Thank you for your review Margie. As our linens are handled by several different people, from our laundry staff to cleaners and inspectors, we are unsure how this stain was missed. I do see we were able to have it addressed in less than 10 minutes. Per our rental agreement, we only supply starter amenities until you have a chance to shop at the store, these amenities are not meant to last the entirety of your stay. We will have our team look into the pantry smell, the sleeper sofa and the dresser drawers. We hope to host you in the future.

I enjoyed my 2 month stay tremendously. It was easy access to the beach and on the 2nd floor I had a view of the ocean. I took quite a few sunrise pictures without leaving the condo. The courtyard was awesome and kept very clean everyday. The winter Texans and residents were very nice and welcomed me into their little community. I can't wait to get back there next winter.

The maintenance gentleman that takes care of the grounds was just awesome and so helpful! He really does a beautiful job at keeping up the place. and was a great help with a small stuck drawer problem in the condo.

We had the opportunity to stay at the seahorse in this spectacular unit. Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay. It was cozy, clean, and close to the beach. The beach is literally just across the street. this condo was fully equipped and soooo comfy. I hope you and your family have great, fun, and sandy memories while staying here. Our kids had a blast building sand castles, and then running back to the pool to take a dip and swim. ENJOY!! Minimum 5 stars! Id give them 12 if I could :)

The location of the condo was amazing! Loved being able to walk over to the beach. It was very nice, just a couple of things would have made it better. The beds were all very uncomfortable and 2 of the 3 made noise. Need a smart TV. That's what most people are used to now.
A comfortable sleep would have made the trip better. But overall had a very peaceful experience!

The condo was nice. Upon arrival we were given 6 towels and washcloths not 8 for our party.
We also were not provided extra sheets for the couch only blankets and pillows.

The decorative pillow sham in the master bed is tearing/falling apart.

We attempted to sweep floors but there is not a dust pan.

There were only 5 not 6 dining room chairs. The kitchen pots should probably be replaced due to the Teflon coming off.

To our surprise there was no toaster. That might be something to consider for the condo.

The unit is located close to the pool and across the street from the be h which we loved.

Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The stay was fine with the exception of the dirty floors upon arrival. There is no way anyone mopped the floors before we arrived. My bare feet were full of dirt within a couple hours of walking on the floor.

The apartment is much bigger than I anticipated, the space was perfect! Two bathrooms huge bedrooms and literally a 3 minute walk to the beach!!
We will definitely be back!

I called the day before and requested an early check in I was told it would be available to check in early as nobody was staying the night before. I called the next morning around 10 for the code. I was told they were doing the inspection and to call back around “lunch time” for the code. I called back at noon and was told they were STILL doing the inspection and didn’t have an ETA for me and they would call or text me when it was ready. I called back another 2 hours later and they have me the code. So my “early check in” was 2:00. And the never called me when it was text like they promised. I had to continue to call them. They could have been much more accommodating especially since I called the day before and discussed my need for an early check in. Also all the beds were extremely uncomfortable

This was a good location and place to stay. The rental was clean and well cared for. There was all the essentials that you need to cook and live at the unit, and it was comfortable for a family of five. This was a good time of year (December) to visit the beach which was very close (within walking distance) to the rental. It was not very busy, so we could enjoy the experience with out major crowds, and then return back to the rental for a relaxing evening.

The unit was nice and clean. I liked that there was plenty of seating space in the living room and a large table in the dining room. My only issue was the kitchen. The photo showed a Keurig coffee maker but there was only a two auto drip so I had to return to the store for coffee and filters. There were no large mixing bowls, only 4 small cereal bowls, no colander to drain noodles. There were no books or board games.

Disappointed. Check in process poor. Master bedroom only had a boxspring, lacking a mattress which makes for a poor experience. Master tv does. It work. Floors dirty. Swept up dirt, sand, medical pills, empty wrappers. Lacks a toaster. Wonderful location. Close to the beach. Poor value for the cost.

This is a great location, just a long block away from the public beach, so it is an easy walk, even for small children. If you need a stroller, there is a hard surface to the beach as well. The unit is nice, I believe rated for 8 persons. With two baths, that wouls be entirely workable. The building is probably from the 60s or early 70# but the unit has been upgraded, and the building well maintained. The swimming pool ans the grills are nice features as well. Several tables and chairs are placed around the pool area and grill/eating area. The landscaping is attractive and cared for. The unit itself feels spacious and comfortable. Smaller children could sleep as adults were in the front rooms. If you want to cook, the galley kitchen is handy, with ample counter space for one or two but requires some dancing if three are moving through. The washer/dryer was really handy and nice. The unit appears to have ample parking off the street, and the building gated. The table had 5 chairs (why, since there was room for 8?} but fairly spacious. The couches and living room furniture was comfortable, with a sofa bed which was tolerable to sit on. Supplied kitchen kettles were marginally adequate, but sparse on microwaveable bowls sparse, as well as any bowles in general. Plates, bowls and eating utensils were inadequate and quite crummy. One soup spoon, five or so tea spoons. Definitely, not enough to be feeding a group of 8. There weren’t enough towels provided for use for our group of 7. The unit is clean.
