This was a good stay. Location was great, only about a five minute walk to the beach. The property was very clean. Bed was fairly comfortable. The balcony had nice views, but it does face a very busy street, so it is not quiet. The water pressure was poor, especially the shower. The shower head needs to be replaced. The washer and dryer came in handy, but the dryer needs to be updated, it gets stuck in the on setting, so be aware of that. All-in-all, we would stay again.

This condo is perfectly located for quick 5 minute access to Whitecap Beach. The L shaped couch in the living room provided excellent space for our small family of 3.
The bedroom and bath are adequately spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. In addition, the balcony views were beautiful.

Check in and out process super simple. Apartment looked as described online clean area with clean bedding and towels. Parking spot included! I would recommend this property it is close to some souvenir shops and the beach. The outside grass has stickers wear shoes. Pool and gym are great the hot tub did not work during our stay.

My fiance and I decided to spend our 6 year anniversary trip at this property. Overall the photos looked great online. We were mostly interested in the hot tub and pool area and were excited to go.

One complaint we have is that there were a lot of kids (specifically several teenage girls) taking up the entire hot tub and lots of other kids in the pool. We were really wanting a "no kids" type experience and we were frustrated at how many there were.

Unfortunately, due to the upcoming hurricane Beryl, we were unable to really enjoy the property and were instructed to evacuate early. All that said, the property management was very amenable to this and refunded us for the rest of our stay with no questions asked. We appreciate that.

Overall, I would visit this property again but maybe during a weekend that isn't as busy as to avoid all the kids.

We enjoy the Beach Club condos.

The microwave is on top of the refrigerator which is very dangerous. These units should all have microwave above the oven in a vent style installation. We are an retired couple and using the microwave is difficult.

The patio door leaks excessively when it rains. You can definitely see the water damage around the baseboards surrounding the door which means water damage is likely seen in the condo underneath it too.

The toilet runs endlessly.. A maintenance person did come by but did not have the appropriate parts to fix it.

I enjoyed my last stay so much; I booked this condo again. I love the location walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The condo was again super clean. Sitting out on the Balcony drinking coffee and reading was peaceful. The ease of booking was amazing from checking in and out. Another amazing thing is the condo has a washer and dryer in the unit . I will definitely book this condo again in the future.

I can not say enough wonderful things about my stay. The name of my condo was Serenity the name is a perfect analogy of how I felt staying here. This was the first time staying here and using a vacation condo. I normally stay at a hotel. Staying in this condo was way much better than staying at a hotel!!!! The easy of booking;to checking in and checking out was fantastic! The condo was just as the pictures illustrated. The location was perfect! It was in walking distance to the beach. I never had to move my car. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. The condo was so clean and welcoming! I am already looking at my schedule for plans to return to this property again! I highly recommend this condo and Padre Escapes!

The condo was convenient to the beach with great views. It clean and comfortable with all kitchen conveniences.
The only issue we had was the dryer was not tumbling the clothes so drying clothes was not efficient.

This condo has a good location. The unit and the building lacked cleanliness. The unit has a strong mildew smell and the furniture was dated and stained. The outside table was badly rusted.

Very nice room. Clean, comfortable, & roomy. Only negatives were the 3rd floor staircase, a power outage, & no shampoo/toiletries provided. Extra towels would’ve been a bonus!

We are glad you enjoyed the unit! We do advertise this unit as being on the third floor with no elevators because we know stairs can be an issue for guests. We do not supply shampoo as stated in your rental agreement, however, we do offer a small starter amenity pack that will include toiletries (toilet paper, roll of paper towels, makeup wipe removers, dishwashing tab and bar soap) until you have time to shop. Our 2 night stay was very enjoyable. The unit was clean, check in was smooth and location great! We walked to the beach and saved the $12/day for car parking.
The reservation notes did say to bring beach towels which we did but the kitchen is completely stripped! Not even salt!
Otherwise our stay was great!
\One other note, please be sure and check what level the unit is! Ours was on the 3rd floor and no elevator! Also, I know this is not connected to the unit, but the hallways leading to the unit, were dirty and full of pet hair clumps.
The management staff was resposive but at times a bit unprofessional. We received a text from them asking if we bring a boat trailer. No signature, saying who the text is from, no explanation where the trailer boat will go,and the number was unknown to us. We thought it was spam.
The AC maintenance request we had handled ok.

We also do mention the floor the unit is located on and that there is no elevators in the complex. We will be sure to notify the HOA of the carpet in the hallways. Home was as described and shown in photos. The beach was a long block from the home. The property was well maintained. The view from the deck was nice with the canals directly across and the ocean could be seen looking east.

Rental was very nice. Clean. Just as shown in the pictures. No complaints from the rental standpoint. It is 3rd floor so just be prepared to climb. And the mosquitoes were insane on the front entry door facing the street. Just don't hang out there long if you are prone to being bitten. But they didn't seem to want to fly up to the 3rd floor balcony to eat so that was good.

Apartment was very clean, air conditioner worked well, bed was comfortable with extra pillows available as needed. We didn't cook but it appeared that the unit had everything we would have needed. Apartment smelled a bit musty at first, but it went away as we used the space. Stairs are a bit tough, especially in the heat, but always need the exercise!

We rented this same condo for our Honeymoon and got to stay here again for our second anniversary. This place is wonderful. When you look off your balcony you can see the beach and it is so pretty. And Padre Island Escapes is always so easy to work with.

Nice cozy condo. Well kept and clean. Porch faces north and towards the main street, but neither noise, nor traffic were bothersome. Also, the porch was protected from the evening sun which made it quite relaxing.

Always on the top of my list is management responsiveness when problems occur -- 'cause you know they will. We had a few issues, including a refrigerator that wasn't cooling. Not good when your plan was to primarily cook in during the COVID-19 days. Notified Padre Escapes and they sent over a mini-fridge temporary. A service tech was scheduled to work on the fridge. So, good response to a potentially critical problem.

Condo is located close to one of the beach access spots, but also a very busy, popular spot. If less crowds are your thing, then it's a quick 5-10 drive to several quieter beach access points.

Overall, a nice place worth recommending.

This place was SO nice. Beautiful. And you could walk to the beach with how close it was. The pool area was also great. Kitchen had everything we needed. They also gave use laundry detergent which was a small gesture but highly appreciated considering we forgot ours. Felt like home.

Rental was very clean and were very lucky that it was ready earlier than expected. It was perfect for a quick trip. Good location, nice complex. The pool area could use some attention. It did not look the cleanest and the jacuzzi was not working but we really come for the beach anyway so it wasn’t that big an inconvenience.

Great Rental and definitely our New Favorite Unit At Beach Gate. The unit was clean, modern and very tastefully decorated. Perfect unit for an Adults needing a getaway as it offers great privacy. 3rd Story and view from the balcony was also a highlight. Wife and I could NOT be happier and we hatred leaving. We will definitely be back soon! Love Beach Gates proximity to: beach, Corpus and even Port A is only 20 minutes away.

We had a good rental experience. This is a beautiful unit decorated in lovely, calming colors. I liked the view of the ocean, the bedroom, and the bathroom especially. Short walk to beach. The unit has quirks which need to be overlooked but were part of the experience. The main room is considerably smaller than photo looks. Heat from microwave on top of refrigerator melted ice cream. Heat from dishwasher adjacent to refrigerator not good for food and cooling. Drafty balcony door. Still, we made unit work for great vacation. Good experience at Brooklyn Pie Company nearby. Pleased with management company Padre Escapes.

Originally booked 2 days but was able to secure an early check in daybat a heavily discounted rate thanks to the staff at a Padre seascapes. Our unit was clean, wonderfully decorated, had all amenities we could have needed and lee. I was especially grateful for the sound machine in our bedroom as I am a light sleeper and forgot mine at home. Morning coffee on the balcony was wonderful as well. Will definitely stay again.
The only downside is the parking accomodations if you are driving a truck. Narrow parking spaces were difficult for every individual driving tricks to maneuver in and out of. While we were able to deal with this in our truck, I am sure that if other guests are unable to - calling the staff would prompt a better space or solution.

All was well until the shower valve had a MAJOR malfunction and maintenance had to be called around midnight to turn the water off. However, they responded right away, and the problem was fixed the next morning.
