Comfortable cozy quaint stay. Like that the back door was right outside the community pool, very convenient. The small enclosed yard is perfect for children. If you have small to medium size pets, I believe it would be great for them as well. Plenty of seating outdoors & indoors. Has just about everything you need to cook. The only issue I found was the lock on the gate, it was not aligned with the latch which made it extremely hard to use. Overall the establishment was perfect. We definitely recommend this place for your next stay.

We had a wonderful time. This is a very clean and comfortable rental. The pool was so convenient. People were swimming in the pool, but it was so quiet and peaceful. This was a very nice place to stay. The access to the pool is what I really liked. We opened a door and we were there. The management company was very good at getting us the info on the property prior to us checking in. Padre Escapes made this a very easy trip. I would stay here again.

My parents, myself and my toddler stayed 2 nights and three days at the summer wind condo it was everything you expect from a vacation rental. The condo was clean and very spacious, we loved that the pool was next to us. It was peaceful and just what we needed for a few days to get away. This little place was the PERFECT place to stay. We were close to the beach and RIGHT next door to the pool. There was an adorable little yard perfect to watch a beautiful Texas sun set. This place was decorated so cute and had all the things you needed for a comfortable stay. Only negative was the door to the pool wouldn’t stay shut you had to lock it to keep it closed.

Awesome condo, very nice complex. Cute outside area & shade porch. Backdoor open to the pool was nice. Down side if alot of people are at the pool it was noisy inside. Roof of the other condo next the pool was being replaced & 1/2 pool surrounding was close plus noisy.

This is the 2nd time staying at this property and 3rd time leasing with Padre Escapes. We love the “pink” house! Loved the upgrades to bathroom & new oven is great. The location is central to everything we need. Property description is spot on. As always property was neat & clean. I would definitely recommend this property. We decided to stay in and cook this time and highly recommend Paul’s Seafood. They have delicious fresh seafood. We spent everyday at Padre Island National Seashore which is a short drive and ended the day back at the pool located right outside the kitchen door! I recommend leasing with Padre Escapes their management team is great to work with and their communication the best!

We absolutely loved our stay at Summer Wind #207. This is the 1st location on Padre Island that we have re-booked. The private courtyard and covered patio made this location very special. The kitchen was very well appointed and convenient for prepping meals. The owner had recently updated the cottage, inside and out and it was adorable.

While the cottage is not located directly on the water or have a water view, it has direct access to the pool and is fairly close to White Cap Beach. If I found any flaws it would be the bed in the master bedroom was too high--I needed a step stool to get into bed and the sofas in the living room were too low and difficult to get up.

Padre Escapes, once again, did not disappoint. The couple of small matters we had were quickly and efficiently taken care of. We have been very pleased with their professionalism and immediate action for the 4 years we have been spending our winters in units they manage. We are looking forward to next January when we return.

We love this property! It get 5 stars all around. We did have some problems with ants in the kitchen but someone came right out to address the issue. We also had some problem operating all 3 TVs. The quest bedroom remote would not work until we messed with the batteries. We could not find instructions on how to use the TVs and had to reset the Roku box to watch the living room TV. The TV in the master bedroom couldn't be shut off so we had to unplug it. We love the unit being right next to the pool!

We had a wonderful time staying in the little Summer Cottage! This is our 2nd or 3rd time to stay in one of them and I just love them! They are so cute eith an exposed private patio for morning coffee! The cottage was very neat, clean and tidy...I am a professional Housecleaner and very critical on cleanliness but no negative here! We will definitely be staying in one of these Summer Cottages again next summer!!!

It was my 1st time to Corpus Christi and booking through Padre Escapes and my experience was great! Loved this little cottage with pool access. Padre Escapes was efficient, quick to communicate, and my overall experience was great. The unit was clean & exactly as described and a great central location to beach, shopping and restaurants. Kitchen was stocked adequately, washer & dryer worked great and it was “clean!” There were 3 adults and 2 children and it worked perfect for us. I definitely will booking this cottage again! Great experience overall.

Overall we loved this condo and the rental company. The only complaint we had were the beds. They were not comfortable...this makes a difference when you stay 3 months.

We have been renting condo's on Padre & Port A for 15+ years. This was the first condo where we felt like the place "cheaped out", made me think the owners can barely afford the place due to little put into it. Beds, pillows, couch, couch pillows, all need to be replaced. There were no coffee filters so I had to use napkins to filter the coffee. On a positive side, the pool being out the back door is SUPER convenient. Should consider updating some of that stuff, things as simple as "beachy" kitchen towels...spruce it up make it feel like what it looks like on the outside. People like that stuff :)

Good location. No beach access but we like Malaquite Beach anyway, which is a short drive. Right next to the pool, which is nice and then not. Loud group of people first night we were there up till 2AM. Space is big enough. Floors were dirty when we arrived, kids spilled water and I went to clean up with a towel and it was pretty gross. It was just okay. Have stayed here before but not sure we would again.

Our ages ranged from 6 to 72 and everyone was happy with the stay. The direct access to the pool was AMAZING. We did not make a trip to the beach as we were there for a birthday party, but the location is great for beach goers. You still have to drive, but not far. And they even have a stash of beach toys to take with you for the little ones. Will definitely stay here again

On first dat of arrival found roofing nails in our parking spaces. Waited for the contractors to pick up the nails. They did not. On 2nd day on Sunday Found nails on the parking lot of the place. So on Sunday the nails were still there. We picked up them up. On Monday we heard so much pounding contractors arrived at 7:00 am till 6:00pm due to them working on the roof we could not rest or have a peaceful
time. Seeing the roofing materials still on the roof, that told us they would be back early Tuesday morning, we left at 0530 before their return. We are not happy about spending the amount of money for that experience. And to be offered a discount for our next stay, is truly an insult and not caring. IF we never make it back that way, then yall won...

We love the charm and easy access to the pool at this rental! It is our "go to" place now for traveling to CC. It's only a mile or so to the beach and it's super quiet at night. We love it here and so does my son, who is about to turn 4! It's truly one of our favorite weeks of the year!

The cottage was nice the washer has mold on the rubber seal. The pool area wasn't clean and it hadn't been cleaned since July 7/15/21. I have pictures to prove it. My granddaughter ended up with swimmers itch from the pool that's how dirty the pool was. Not likely to ever stay there again. I stayed there in 2013 and the place was amazing and I bragged and recommend this area to everyone I could. Now I'm gonna tell everyone just how nasty it was and suggest they never stay there. I belong to Google Map Guide's. Believe me you will be getting a review where I will be totally honest. Whoever you want to blame for the pool area it is still your place to make sure whoever you have controlling it takes care of it. Especially if the pool comes with the rental
You are obligated to be certain things are done up to standards. I rented from you I completely hold your company accountable. You would've held me accountable had one of my grandkids broke something so you can surely hold the maintenance accountable.

However, I see that we reached out several times to their HOA via email and phone in hopes to get the pool cleaned and up to standard. The cottage is in a great location, close enough to all beaches in North Padre. Contactless check-in and check-out was perfect. It was quiet and had all the amenities needed. Could use a little more detailed cleaning in some areas, such as underneath the furniture and beds, and there were a lot of mosquitos on the patio which made it hard to enjoy time out there. Other than that we were very happy with it.

Location was great, grocery store, restaurants and beach close by. Parking was tight if you don’t have a small vehicle. Enjoyed being right next to pool. Cottage could use some new paint on inside and new chair cushions. We loved having an in unit washer, dryer and had a very nice covered patio. Sand toys in a closet on patio was a nice added touch. All things considered, we would definitely come back.

Spring Break trip with 3 stormy days and 2 sunny days. Cute vacation home with everything you need. Only complaint is that the pool was COLD. The home is situated near a neighborhood with sidewalks that was great for dog walks. Weather was mild for us so we walked to Starbucks, but the area was not set up for pedestrians and did not feel safe walking next to main busy thouroughfare. Plan to drive to all activities. So cool to drive onto Whitecaps beach in the afternoon. Kids went in the water and we had a bonfire and roasted marshmallows. Get an annual beach parking permit from Stripes.

This is the 2nd year for my family to stay in this cottage and we absolutely love it. It's starting to feel like home. The pool is in the back yard and I have to admit, it's my favorite part of this cottage. It's clean and spacious and has everything that we need to make our vacation as enjoyable and effortless as possible. It's 10 minutes from everything you need in Corpus, 2 minutes from the beach and right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants on the island.

Great Condo. Short drive to the beach. Quiet, nicely layer out floor plan with rooms on either side of the condo and private hot tub. Open the door and you have direct pool access. My only complaint is that there were so many mosquitos. I mean BIG ones. I don’t know if there is anything that they can do about that? Maybe fog? Get some mosquitos repelling plants? Throw some of those donuts in standing water? If we walked outside for a second we’d get attacked. Then they’d follow us back in and attack us in our sleep. Definitely don’t forget the Cutter.
