We had a very nice time during our stay. The condo's location is just minutes to the to the beach. The patio opens to the beautiful pool and the corner unit provided easy access to our assigned parking space.

Staff was awesome! Room was good but needs a couple of improvements. Master bedroom and living room to small for all that furniture . Vent in restroom did not work, also patio light did not work and saw a couple of roaches.

The apartment is clean, has all the necessary kitchen supplies plus more. It is spacious and the location is excellent. A short walk to whitecap beach. There is a small grocery store close by and close to everything. There is also a pool and a laundry room in the premises. Loved it!

Perfect Location, Easy check-in/check out process.
Room was great, had everything we needed for a quick beach getaway; was clean and exactly what we expected. Only small complaint was about the sofa bed. It squeaks a lot when opened up, so every time my son moved at night, it woke him up and everyone else;) My son ended up just sleeping on it as a couch the second night and that was fine.

Although the weather was not cooperating with strong winds, red flags at the beach, water high at the beach most days and not able to enjoy the beach. The pool was great and heated. The amenities throughout were in great condition and the unit we stayed in although small it served us well.

Property in great condition and no issues with check in or check out or the unit itself.

The room was dusty and had the picture with crack in it that had to be removed and it was a studio instead of seperate bedroom was not what I'd hoped for. My mistake for not catching the bedroom sooner.. Other than that it was ok but won't pay that much for a studio again when I found full bedroom for same price.

Everything was as described. Place was clean and nicely stocked for a weekend or even longer get away. The bath rub shower was a little temperamental. I couldn't figure out how to get sufficiently hot water. That could just be operator error. The control nob was iffy.

I brought my three young children for a last minute day camp. It was a great quiet location in the complex and everything we needed. We walked to the beach every night and found it to be pretty calm during the week. I was so happy with this unit and the way it is managed and cleaned.

Hi, thank you for the opportunity for feedback. Interactions with Padre Escape personnel for the rental, info before, during my stay were excellent. Very responsive. A map of where the unit is on the property would be a help. The unit was very clean! I chose the unit for the view and was very pleased. There is some road noise if you sit on the balcony, and some band noise in the evenings; but this worked ok for me. It has some peculiarities in the bathroom (stool and shower mechanism), which could be updated.

This place was very clean and was well laid. We had a couple of issues, but they are easy fixes.

Upstairs mattress were awful.
King bedroom upstairs right wall outlets were not working. Didn’t know that till after our phone died during the night and missed our alarm for our fishing guide.
No kitchen essentials...salt, pepper,...

The home was very clean, comfortable, updated appliances, a home away from home feel. At the most, a one minute walk to the beach or drive onto beach. There's a grill and seating area that's very spacious and good place to eat and talk. Definitely will stay again, we're already looking for new dates!

Super location with an awesome beach view. Loved waking up and having coffee outside steps from the beach. North padre is a gem. Not too busy but just enough action like watching kite surfers in the afternoon. Condo had everything we needed.

So my partner and I stayed at this place in early May for a couple of nights. The state had just started to open up from COVID -19. We wanted a place to go near the Ocean that wasn't a hotel and would allow us to keep to ourselves and away from people. We found this place, it was a short walk to a permit only section of the beach. At the beach club, we only ever came into close contact with a single lady. It was clean and comfortable. We had cable, a full kitchen, and a roomy bathroom. The balcony was nice, you could still look to the right and see the ocean. The A/c worked great, the bed wasn't too soft or firm and I appreciated the studio not being full carpet. The road in front of the studio was super nosy though, you would often hear people speeding or racing down the street with super loud mufflers late at night well after 10 pm and into the early morning around 2 am or so. One morning, with no warning we woke up and had no water for the better part of the day. It took us almost an hour to get ahold to a person to report it to (it turns out no one in the building had water). It would have been nice to receive a message letting us know at some point. In fact, at one point we were prompted to leave a voicemail and did not receive one until the next day asking about our water problem. By that time it had already been fixed and we were about to check out and ended up having a problem with a leaking dishwasher.
All in all the stay could have been much worse. I probably would consider coming back but they really need to work on a better communication system to relay information other than checking out or in. It was very frustrating not to be able to reach someone concerning our issues.

This has been our fourth year at this same condo. We love it so much. Hopefully we will be back next year again. The unit is great for couples, very short walk to the beach. The only complaint I would have about this unit is the sound of the AC unit, it is a little loud. Besides that everything is perfect!

We enjoyed our sunny apartment on Padre Island. We appreciated the great views, especially the herons and the pelicans in the lake in front. The gulf beach was only a 5 minute walk away. For light sleepers, the morning traffic noise was annoying. The kitchen was well equipped.

The unit was cozy, with extra beds, nice and clean with a nice view. My only complaint is with the property, at the "car wash", which is only a water hose, the drain was clogged, and probably a million mosquitos attacking. Other than that, the property is beautiful and in a great location.

Location is great. Down the street from the beach and close to various restaurants. Enough room for my entire party. Only cons were the bbq pit was not maintained. It had not been cleaned in what looked like forever. I had to go purchase cleaning tools to be able to use it. Also there were minor maintenance issues which luckily we were able to fix ourselves. Lastly one of the upstairs cable boxes did not work.

The unit was small, but perfect for 1-2 people. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a deadbolt on the door, I wasn’t even sure if the door was locked since there was no lock. The linens and towels were not fresh, and it smelled like it just needed to be cleaned. I’m guessing no one had stayed there in a while. Beautiful views from the balcony! Well worth it.

We brought our golf cart thinking we would be far from the beach, but the condominiums are really close and withthin walking distance. When we weren't at the the beach, we enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The property is close to the main beach entrance road, but traffic does slow down by 10:00pm. We will be back, we loved it. The Condo and the property was really clean.

Property was good except for the bed. Owner was contacted and would not replace. I did a thorough cleaning to make sure no mold was present for allergies. A refresher course in customer service would be appropriate for the on site home owners representative, as many renters I met there would not be returning because of rude and unpleasant experiences. We will be returning to area but not to this condo. Padre Escapes representatives were wonderful to work with.

This is our second time renting this unit for our quick get-a-way from Houston. This unit is clean, the ac works great and it's decorated tastefully. The only negative comment I have is that the caulking around tub is very dirty and Needs to be cleaned/bleached thoroughly. Also, the kitchen drain needs a good cleaning, the buildup is gross.

This is a great little place for two people, maybe a third child on the pullout sofa. The confusion about where the rental is located is easier if you tell people that this unit faces the street and the entrance is on the street side, not in either of the two main entrances to the building.we love the location and the pool, nice workout room and sauna. The staff was very helpful with some minor issues in the condo.

We thought this would be an ideal rental due to the discounted rate offered for the short weekend stay we had planned but this was not the case. The unit was hard to find on the property. The condo is ok but needs to be deep cleaned and touched up. The bathroom was really dirty and needed to be painted. The comforter on the bed was covered in stains and very worn. This condo is right next to the main street where there is lots of new construction and traffic which is pretty noisy day and night. We were also not too happy to see all the additional fees that this rental company asked for such as late check IN ($25), we could understand late check OUT but IN? To top off the rest of the frustrations of this visit, a text message at 8am on Sunday reminding us to check out on time was not necessary we will not be renting with this company again.

Thank you for the feedback. We're certainly disappointed to hear that the property was not clean in anyway, we do have a very high standard for cleanliness and we will address your concerns. As discussed the unit is on the 2nd floor, on the end of the 1st building on your right as you pull into the complex. It's not a hard unit to find, it's pretty simple really. The construction is a few hundred yards away, we have properties that are much closer to it and we've never heard a complaint from anyone about it. We do have a $25 late check-in fee, that is stated in our management agreement but it only applies to after hours check-ins such as yours that was at 11:00pm. The text message on the morning of your check-out is not a reminder to check-out, it's a "One-click check-out" to make the check-out process easier.

I was delightfully surprised at how nice this studio condo was. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It is a one room condo with a small kitchen. The bathroom was full sized with plenty of room. I rented the condo for one person so there was plenty of room.
The bed was very comfortable. Everything works well, including the A/C. There was a little rust in the bathroom sink and the shower had some mold in the tiles but it wasn't a deal breaker. The only con for me was that there is no full size couch, only 2 love seats. The love seat is a sleeper sofa though so it would work great for a party of three. The property is nicely kept as well.

Good location. Rental staff were VERY helpful. Accom could do with some TLC really, especially in checking equipment and utensils, but overall, yes I would recommend this. Check the pricing though. We paid $1500 for 2 weeks while across the hall paid $1200 for 4 weeks.

We have used Padre Escapes 4 or 5 times now and could not be happier. This is the second time we have stayed on this particular property, in a different unit each time. This unit is exactly as the pictures indicate: clean, cute and comfortable. If you are sensitive to traffic sounds this might not be the unit for you especially on weekends when there is more traffic. We were prepared for that with a box fan to hum away the noise. We love the beach in October! The water was warm and weather pleasant.

Overall my family had a great experience. The condo was clean and nice. The only negative issue was with the swimming pool at the condo. The pool was very dirty, the water was extremely cloudy and had hair floating on top. But we would definitely stay at the condo again.
