Not Family Friendly
The lack of “No Smoking” signs was a huge turn off for us. We won’t be returning for this very reason. Think of the kids more than accommodating the smokers. Light bulbs were burned out and flickering in the bedrooms. Shower heads were old and almost useless with how little water they put out. Floors were filthy and turned our socks brown, we had to ask housekeeping to mop. Needs better maintenance.

What a great stay!!!
After a change in last minute plans we were able to find this place. It was everything it said it was and more. It was perfect for our family. Very spacious, updated, and clean. The pool is right out your front door with a cozy little porch to sit and enjoy the day. It sits in a nice neighborhood and is a short walk to the beach. We couldn’t have been happier with the place.

Really showing its age
We've been coming here since this complex opened around 2016, was great then however this condo and others like have been beat up
Really not aging well. We did not recive entry code had to call an hour after check in to retrive it, The entry looks nothing like the picture: patio furniture was old mismatched and dirty. The blinds were broken with tape over them AC did not cool was set at 72 just to test and would not get below 77 all night. Housekeeping did a great job it was clean and neat. Biggest issue we had was the pool, which is why the kids used to love coming here: Upon arrive it was packed at least 60 plus people music thumped thru the entire complex so much for rules. We were uncomfortable going as it looked as if it was a private wild party. Scary looking rude drunk people. Dissatisfied with this stay.

I loved the vacation rental it was very convenient and the view in front of the pool was very nice. The rental was very clean and relaxing. Everyone complimented my pick of vacation rental instead of a hotel. I will book again in the near future.

Great location and immaculate condo!
The view of the pool was great! We are allergic to pet dander and we chose this “not pet friendly” condo and it was immaculate and the wood floors were nice. The double size bunk beds in the guest bedroom were just perfect for our 6 foot tall grandson. The master bath was a little warm but they provided a small fan for the bathroom and it helped circulate the air.

Always a great time!
This is our 2nd time using Padre Escapes to stay at Village by the Beach. The house was clean and very accommodating. It had everything we needed for our long weekend getaway. From pots, pans, silverware, all the towels and linens. The only thing I would suggest is giving the fridge a deep cleaning. For instance the water and ice dispenser in the fridge was dirty and the fridge had some broken parts. We loved that our unit had a pool view. The customer service person I spoke with was amazing. From filling out the forms to getting the check in code and info....everything was a breeze. We will definitely stay again.

Awesome bday getaway!
We have stayed at padre escape a couple of times and love it. The villas by the beach are clean, the pool so close clean and fun time with the kids. We even grilled one night we will definitely be back!
