The property was very clean. Everything looked as the pictures show. The location is closed to the beach. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the bonfire pit didn't work and we had eveverything to do s'mores

We loved room 205. The beach view was perfect. The house was clean. We have been staying at El Constante for years and never seen the pool so rowdy and honestly scary. There is no code from the parking lot to the pool so people are coming in off the streets. We counted 22 people Saturday and 21 on Sunday with out wrist bands between 3 and 6. They were blaring music on both days extremely loud so it was hard to talk to the family around us. The night guard looked so stressed when he got there both nights at 9 and tried to enforce people in the pool wearing wrist bands they got very hostile with him. If the gate had a code like GulfStream does next door this could help prevent this problem.

We have stayed in this unit 3 different times and have had a comfortable experience. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a few supplies for washing dishes and laundry.
It is right by the pool yet quiet enough inside.
The best feature is this is the only unit that has 2 full sized beds in the second bedroom. This is perfect for adults.
It is a short drive - like 1/2 mile from the beach. Well maintained property and PadreEscapes does a great job to make sure your experience is good!

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean. There were plenty of pots, pans, plates, and glasses in the unit. The unit had the typical amount of trash bags and toilet paper that come with vacation rentals. There were only some minor issues during our stay that kept me from giving a 5 star review. The Master Bathroom shower would not get hot. The Roku in the 2nd bedroom would not connect to the network, even after multiple attempts and restarts. In my book, very minor issues. The pool is AMAZING, but the images are somewhat misleading. The pool with the kid splash pad is at the other property, but the pool in front of the unit has a kiddie pool, so it evens out in my book. The location isn't far from the beach, and the local DG and Circle K's are just a short drive away. The place is relatively inexpensive for the area, and there's no 3-5 night minimum like a lot of places. I would definitely recommend to a friend and I wouldn't mind staying there again next summer.

We had a few issues and kind of felt like complainers but everything was taken care of almost immediately so that was good...
1. Toilet seat was broken (should have been noticed when cleaning)
2. drains clogged with long dark hair (which should have been noticed when cleaning when the water in the tub wouldn't go down)
3. Floor was discusting and really needs to be updated
4. had several dog walkers walk by the patio and let their little dogs pee on the sidewalks where you have to walk...
Every single issue was fixed right away and so pleasantly we were very happy with management

I’d give it 3 stars. The patio had trash left in the bushes when we got there. Also many of the dishes in the cupboard still had food stuck to them. And they really only give you the barest of necessities when it comes to soaps, detergents, and toilet paper, and such. The beds and pillows were okay. The couch and chairs in the living space looked okay but had springs poking in places that were kind of uncomfortable. They also provided you only one towel and wash rag per guest and no pool or beach towels. The place as a whole was fairly tidy and appeared clean. And it was fun to have the pool just right outside the door. The pools are very nice and heated. And the beach is like five minutes from the unit, so very convenient. All in all, it was a good place to stay but nothing that really set it apart from other. We stayed here because the unit we usually like to stay in was booked for this time. We might stay here again but probably only if our other first choices were not available.

We ( my husband & I ) have visited White Cap Beach numerous times- this time we took my brother in law & his family ( there very 1st time) they loved it , they wanna come back already, soon. We spent Friday at the pool & then went to eat dinner for the birthday girl. Saturday we were at the beach all day, then returned to the pool at the rental. We REALLY enjoyed our stay, we plan to in the future to try & only rent at Village on The Beach. Excellent condo, close to the beach.

We had a good stay. The check in and check out procedure was very easy! The unit does need some work. One chair in the living room has a broken spring. It’s not able to sit on it. The more I can get him the TVs to work with a little issue, but the maintenance man showed up and took care of that for us. is Annette could use a little work as far as they were light bulbs out, some of the Fossetts are loose, and the floor could use a good painting. The master bedroom bathroom never got hot water very hot. The pool was a delight, but the weather was not great that week, so we only got to use it Monday. I think we expected more things to do. But overall our stay was good

This is our 5th year as Winter Texans, renting at the same property - Village by the Beach - managed by Padre Escapes. The staff at Padre Escapes are wonderful!! Always willing to address any issue in a timely and professional manner. This was our first year in this unit. Overall the unit is nice. It is poolside and within walking distance to the beach. The unit is well equipped.
As Winter Texans, we are in the unit for a long period of time. With this in mind, we would say that the the concrete floors are very hard to walk on over a long period of time and never quite look/feel clean. The couch is nice but the chairs are uncomfortable and are showing wear, as is the area rug. The lighting is terrible in all the bathrooms and in this unit, also in the bedrooms. (Don't plan on reading in bed!)
Overall, we love Village by the Beach and we do look forward to renting next year!

We've stayed at this location a few times and like how convenient it is to walk to the beach. Also the onsite pool is really nice! You can tell that these units have been rented out a lot though because they are starting to show some wear and are in need of a deep cleaning. The surface is clean for everything, but there were little things that we noticed (like the urine smell around each toilet) that shows that the deep cleanings aren't happening like they need to be.

The beds are comfortable and there are enough towels provided for the length of our stays. We'll be back because of the location, ease of booking, and customer service from the property management company.

We were in town to celebrate my daughter's graduation from TAMCC!!
We loved the location and the pools.

The only thing I was very disappointed with was the cleanliness or lack there of in our unit. I had to wash the small bathroom carpets because they were filthy and I washed them twice because they did not smell clean after 1st wash. The kitchen mat was so dirty it seemed like it had never been wiped clean. Since we didn't spend much time inside the unit I didn't make a fuss. I did however take pictures.

There were 8 of us on vacation this time. The space was great, spacious and clean. We had a couple of issues, one being one side of the condo lost power and it took several hours for someone to fix it. The pool key did not work. Not just ours. Several guests could not access it so we blocked it open. We have stayed there 4 times in the last year and it has never worked. It is still a great place to stay. Close to the beach, town and activities.

This condo is just as described. We loved the location to the beach (just a short walk), the first floor layout of the condo (made it so easy to load/unload), and the accessibility of the pool to our condo. This condo looks just like it does in the pics - such a fun beachy theme! The washer and dryer is an added bonus you don't find in all vacation rentals. We will definitely be booking this condo again!

Great location by pool and beachside. Only had a 5 min drive to park on the beach. Apartment layout was good for us, with 2 twin beds for kids and larger bedroom for us. Apartment was well equipped and we loved the stay.

Two areas that could have been better. When we checked the living/entry room floor had not been cleaned and there was food debris. I called the front desk but there was not immediate help so I found a vacuum and cleaned up it. The next day someone showed up to clean. The second minor issue was the guest bathtub did not drain well, likely due to all the sand build-up over time, but this was not a big concern.

Very well kept rental with a nice location to the beach. The place was clean and had plenty of space for up to 8 people although there was only 2 of us. We got lucky and found a last minute deal on it since the state was just opening up from the pandemic. We are from New Mexico wnere the state was still pretty much shut down still. Very private setting with the entrance facing the private pools that is also included with the rental. Would return again for the location and the privacy.

The property was in a very convenient location. The kids really enjoyed the pool and proximity to the beach. However, the condition of the furniture was not good. The bed spread in the master had many many stains. You could tell there were old blood stains. I understand that these bed spreads are used over and over, however there is definitely room for improvement in washing them properly. I even found hair under the pillows. The beds we're very uncomfortable and need updating. I felt uneasy letting my kids sleep on these beds.
If it weren't for those two items, the dirty sheets and uncomfortable beds, I would have given a 5 star review all around.

We loved the two bedroom two bath apartment! We had 5 people and we were all very comfortable. Full kitchen worked great for snacks and quick meals. We were also poolside which was very convenient.Beach is a short walk. Very nice overall. Clean too!

Loved that it was a one story (no baby gates needed) and the color scheme/the floor! It was clean and had everything we needed (minus food items, which we knew we needed to bring). Only thing I wish it had was a gate on the patio like some of the others (we have little kids who like to run any chance they get haha).

I have stayed at this complex previously and think it is a great place. The unit I most recently stayed in was not as comfortable unfortunately. One of the dining chairs was broken and my son sat in it and fell. Overall all the furniture was uncomfortable! Some upgraded furnishing would make the unit ideal to stay in. So, while I would recommend the condo complex I would not recommend this unit.

I did not stay at this property because there was a tropical storm headed to the coast and I chose not to put my family in danger. I bought cancellation insurance that was provided through the website to only find it is really not a cancellation insurance. It only covers if roads are blocked or the area is evacuated! Beware when using the VRBO website !

We enjoyed our month long visit. The condo was well appointed and nicely decorated.

When we discovered that there was no hair dryer on site as expected one was quickly brought over.

Pool side unit was nice. Seemed to have a lot of weekend visitors - card/key pool access might be nice.

All in all a great visit - Thanks and we'll definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed here for Christmas holidays. The condo was easy to find and in a great location. It was very clean and welcoming. Kitchen was very well stocked with what we needed to cook dinner. I rented this two bedroom unit for my parents who are in their 80's while they visited us on the Island. It was great. Close to beach access with parking and Ramps for them to access the beach. The only issue they had was that the front door was difficult to open from the inside for my mothers grip. It would benefit from a lever instead of a knob that you have to pull and turn. Otherwise we loved the beautiful coastal deco condo.

We will be staying here again. Front faces the pool and is just minutes from the beach. The grand kids and adults all had a blast. The unit was excellent and exceeded promises and expectations. It was quiet with no noise from the pool or ajoining units. It was clean and well set up. Check in and check out can't get any easier. Just bring food and your swim wear! Unit is located off of White Cap which has a stop light so you can safely get on and off the main road on the island. Everyone wanted to stay longer.
