Loved this unit. Stayed in the one story last time, but this one was a much better match for our family! Definitely staying in this style again in the future!

The condo was perfect for two adult couples to share. Had plenty of room for all to move around and relax. The pool gate is directly across from the condo's front door for easy access. This is the second time to rent from Padre Escapes and I would highly recommend them based on our experience with them versus some other management companies.

We really enjoyed this stay! The condo was very clean, well maintained, and included all the necessities. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The pool was just a few steps out the front door and was always sparkling clean. We will definitely stay here again!

This vacation rental is a spacious well designed unit. Step out the door to the pool. This unit is perfectly positioned to protect you from the wind. The pool is awesome.
There are a few things that need to have some attention, but a note was left in the unit, so I’m sure they’ll be taken care of.

The condo looked just like the pictures and we were happy with the accommodations. The living furniture was a little worn but comfortable to sit on. The unit looked clean on arrival however the floors were very dirty and need to be mopped. The bottoms of my feet were actually black from walking on them. I was very disappointed in the pool area - I have been to Village by the beach on several occasions and the pool is one of the reasons that I like to stay there. The pool water was actually disgusting and no one came and cleaned it during our stay. You could barely see the bottom of the pool because the water was so murky and there was so much sand in the pool. I would not get in it. When I stayed here previously, there was always someone coming in and cleaning the pool every morning, not the case this visit. I did see someone skimming the pool the day we left but this needs to be done on a daily basis.

Usually, our inspectors catch this type of issue. Unfortunately, they must’ve missed it this time. This townhome was awesome. The property was very well maintained. The unit was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated and had all the convinces of home. (The beds were great!) The pool was just a few feet from our door and was surprisingly very quiet. Management company was quick to answer our calls or questions and were very friendly. The property was just a 1-2 minute drive from the beach and close to downtown Corpus as well. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we hope to go back again.

We have been coming by to village by the beach for years and have stayed at many condos in this community. This by far has the best layout ever! The master suite upstairs held the two queen beds and the room was much larger with two walk-in closets which gave the ladies more room. The sofa sleeper in the living room was very comfortable. This condo seemed to have plenty of little areas to put your things so they were out of the way. Plenty of room in the pantry for our food and everything was so comfortable. Highly recommend!!

We were a family of 5. Perfect for our family. It was nice to have 2 levels and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean. Close walk/golf cart ride to the beach. Really nice pool just outside the front door. Convenient place to stay.

The townhome was as described. Clean and well maintained. It has everything you need. Close to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and fishing piers.

These next comments are not complaints just fyi's. One reason we chose this unit was because it had a bedroom downstairs and a walk in shower which was perfect for my elderly mother who has some physical challenges. Well the king size bed was too tall for her to get on and off of so she had to opt for a bed upstairs. The stair case is steep and there are around 20 of them. With assistance she was able to make it up and down. The kids loved the pool. It was clean and right in front of the unit. It was quiet during the day, but a party at night with loud guests and music. This may not be the case all the time, but it was during our stay. Overall we had a great experience and would stay again.

We have stayed here four times and had very few issues. We like the location and the units are nice and clean. We had booked a small unit and were moved to a larger one for no extra cost when the owners decided they wanted to use the smaller one. We liked the larger unit but it was close to the pool, which was noisy. The pool heater broke and we were not able to swim for most of our stay, which was a MAJOR bummer for our kids. The unit furniture also did not match the pictures we were shown online. We were offered a small discount on our next stay to make up for the broken pool heater, but we expected a bit more of a discount for our trouble. Overall this is a nice unit and has everything you’d need. If you have kids and don’t mind the noise, the location by the pool is helpful.

The rental was nice. The instructions for the parking and unit were a little confusing because of an L at the beginning instead of the number but overall it was a nice stay. The unit had some broken lights and cabinets. Our biggest issue was the cleaning. We had old food on the floor in the kitchen and coffee grounds left in the coffee pot so it made us wonder how well it's actually cleaned. The pool was great and it was pretty close to the beach.

This was the perfect condo for our family beach trip. The living room furniture was comfortable & it was great to have recliners to prop our feet up at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked & had plenty of everything we needed for a week. The dishes were even a cute beach theme. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice for the teenagers to have their own beds upstairs. The ac worked great & kept us nice & cool. Enjoyed sitting out on the upper balcony one night, overlooking the pool. Your front door is literally across the sidewalk from the pool gate. You could hear people at the pool in the living room but the security guard shuts the pool area down every night at closing time so there were not any loud groups late into the night. LOVE the pool! And, it's about a two minute drive to the beach. It's the perfect location!

We stay here for our wedding with friends, it was completely perfect, we checked in on Friday, that night our friends kid got sick we tried to run the wash we could get if working, so I emailed them, truly not expecting a reply because it was early Saturday morning and let’s be honest normally on weekend with a thing like this they don’t have anyone available until Monday’s, we I got a response shortly after and they had someone out within a hr! Apparently after a 8 hr drive and trying to get everything worked for our wedding we just couldn’t work a washer lol. But they where very sweet and helpful! And we where able to get the wash going! We will definitely be staying with them in the future! If you want a great price and wonderful helpful people to work with give them a shot you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect accommodations for our family. Pool right out side front door. The only negative is that the rental has a definite strong odor most notably upon entering the door. Not sure if it is prior smoking or something other but definitely noticeable and I called to make the property management aware of it.

The condo was very nicely decorated and well stocked. It was great being so close to the pool. I would bring my own pillow next time. The ones they furnished were not the same quality as the rest of the bedding.

The front entrance was full of leaves, the interior of the rental was fairly clean (except for all the dust and hair under the couches we found looking for a child's toy. The downstairs bed seemed to have an old mattress, and the pillows were the worst I've ever slept on. Good thing we didn't try to sleep in the last day, rental company started texting 8:00 am.

We're sorry to hear you are so disappointed in your stay. We live in one of the windiest cities in the country so we can sweep off the porch and an hour later have a pile of leaves. The first 24 hours we had no Wi-Fi, and the second day there was a water leak, but I understand problems arise and both were taken care of fast - the staff was outstanding. Neither of these 2 issues were a major cause for alarm. Will definitely stay there again.

This was our families second year staying at this complex, different unit. Our unit this year was not nearly as nice or as well equipped. Makes you wonder why all the units are priced the same...anyway. It was an ok stay this year.
