We enjoyed our stay in this very spacious townhome! Even though we were there during New Year's Eve, we didn't experience any excessive partying from any of our surrounding units and maybe my daughter yelling Happy New Year's from the balcony was the most noise all around. Speaking of noise, you can hear the ocean from there, which is always a big plus from us! As always, any units from Padre Escapes are our go to because of the top notch communication and service.

Overall a great place to stay. The property is perfect for children especially the pool. The unit had major AC issues, it was FREEZING, no matter what temperature it was adjusted to, then in the middle of the night the AC would adjust itself to a very hot temperature. The entryway counsel table needs to be bolted to the wall or removed, cant tell you the number of times we stoped it from falling over on a child.

The Best Nest was awesome! We had 3 small kids and 4 adults. It fit our family well. The appliances all worked well and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our own food. The pool was perfect for cooling off and it was an easy 5 min walk to the beach. We hope to return soon!

Very nice condo! Plenty of room for our family of 4 and was very clean/comfortable. The coffee maker seems to have been replaced with a carafe that doesn’t fit the machine. I had to hold it up in order for the coffee to come out. Other than that great time :)

The place was comfortable and as advertised. It was within a reasonable walking distance to the beach, and the pool was great for our six kids.

We had a couple minor maintenance issues, and the management company was swift to respond and get them fixed.

The only catch for us was it was advertised as having beds for 10 I think, but only had seating for 4 at the counter. I should have payed attention to the pictures and noticed the lack of a table in the public space. Our game night plans changed a little, but we made it work.

We did really enjoy our stay overall and the property was very nice and located super close to the beach. There was room for the seven of us to sleep comfortably and have space. We did have problems which were addressed by the management company. First the WiFi wasn’t working and they replaced the router. Then the shower started leaking through the ceiling into the living room. A maintenance worker tried to fix it but it needed work in the pipes. By the time we left, the paint was coming off the ceiling. Also the dryer didn’t work and someone came to fix it as well. We did really enjoy our stay but it would have been better without the issues. I would recommend it if the plumbing problems are take care of.

The house is very nice and well equipped. Loved the location on the end of the row so it is easy to access. The house was very clean. The only complaint was that the futon upstairs is very uncomfortable. We could not sleep on it and had to go buy a little cot.
I do not agree about it being a 3-5 min walk to the beach. We luckily rented a golf cart or we would have never made it as it is not a short walk wh you are carrying things to the beach. Get a golf cart!

Thanks for your feedback! The property is very close to the beach, though the walk can feel longer depending on how you access it. Many guests find the most convenient option is getting a beach pass and even driving right onto the beach, which makes carrying gear much easier. We had a great stay at this condo and would definitely enjoy staying there again. The kids loved the pool. It was a 7-10 minute walk to the beach. There is a small fitness center which we used less than we thought we would because the beach and pools were much more appealing.
The apartment has almost everything we needed. Dishes, cooking and baking equipment, Keurig and regular drip coffee maker, etc. Beds were reasonably comfortable. The kids loved their room upstairs. The downstairs master had all we needed. The master king bed is comfortable, though a bit soft for our liking, but that’s just personal preference on our end.
We did not have a broom or vacuum to clean up the sand that inevitably comes in (even though there is a hose outside the door which is great for getting off the majority of the sand).
There are even a couple of games the kids were delighted to find!
Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

The property was not in the best location for what we were expecting, and that is partially on us.
Stated there was a travel crib, but there was not one.
The door was very hard to open and close.
The couch was very worn and not very comfy.
The Master bed was on the floor with a broken frame.
The AC was rough at first but it cooled down stayed pretty cool in there throughout our stay.
The roll away beds were perfect for our needs.
The shower pressure was awesome.
The patio was cute and great for kids except for mosquitos were rough but that's Texas.
The communication was good with the rental company.

We love the end unit and the privacy away from the pool. Just a few steps away from our parking spot. The enclosed patio means my toddler can’t roam freely. Love that the pool area is fenced in and there is a toddler pool. The adult pool is heated and has a tanning shelf which my toddler loves to play in. We try to get this unit each time we visit the bedroom downstairs with king bed and bathroom is perfect for my senior parents. The upstairs bedroom with 2 queen beds and bath is perfect for my family of 4. The area is safe for my toddler to run up and down the sideways under our watchful eye to get the zoomies out.

My only negative is the playground area hand a billion mosquitos, during the summer the upstairs bedroom could benefit from a box fan to bring the cooler air from downstairs up.This trip we needed the office to reset the internet and it took them 3 days to do so.

Then there are just a few personal negatives that are probably specific to me: I needed to purchase baby gate so my toddler couldn’t independently navigate the stairs. Also despite being a short walk to the beach you have to buy your own beach towels/toys. I like to ensure the space is clean before leaving but I had to purchase my own supplies to do so. Lastly some throw blankets , extra pillows, liens and towels would have gone a long way.

This is a lovely condo. There was plenty of seating, and a patio with a hose to rinse off from the beach. The beds were all comfortable, and there was a washer/dryer, which is always nice, as well as a few kitchen appliances. I have two suggestions. The condo had some extra pillows, but not pillow cases for them. It advertised having a Keurig, so I brought pods, but when I got there, it was a regular coffee make. The pool is a few steps down the sidewalk, and the beach is about a 5-7 minute walk. We also appreciated that it was pet-friendly, but super clean. I'd definitely stay here again.

Check in and out was super easy. House was clean. We enjoyed the lighted dock for fishing at night. Loved the quiet and calm atmosphere. Our only complaint is we were there for a week and only had one towel and rag each. Would stay there again!

We celebrated our daughter’s 19
Bday this past weekend as well as Father’s Day! We usually stay at the island house every year for the last decade! but we wanted to try something different. You guys didn’t let us down! We couldn’t have asked for anything more! The room was perfect! Everything was more then wonderful! Our entire family fit very comfortably. We had absolutely no complaints! The pool was beautiful the kids loved it! And huge shout out to Emily she was so sweet and went above and beyond! She helped get a bday sign up in the room, as well as a little cake! Emily you are the best! It made her entire day! It was more then appreciated! My daughter was very suprised and she loved it! You guys definitely won us over! Pros: We had a great time at Padre Escapes. The pool was steps away and the adult side was warm. Had a shelf for toddler to play in. The beach was a short walk/drive away. The place was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed with pots, pans and dishes. Loved having a full size washer/dryer in unit.

The only cons we had were: toddler pool was not heated, no extra pillow cases, we have a toddler and the patio gate was awesome but would of been nice to have a baby gate at the top and bottom of steps. This was also the first place we stayed at that didn’t have seasonings stocked in the cabinets.

House was great to stay in, very clean and spacious. We did run into some issues. The Coffee machine was broken and I ended up having to go to Dollar Tree to purchase since they could not have a new one over to us until afternoon. We need coffee :) Also, the AC went out which put a damper on our evening. Padre escapes was super responsive in fixing, but we still had to deal with inconvenience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rental property was clean and nicely furnished. Great location near the pool and where we parked but tucked away in a corner unit so it was very convenient but also private.
One area for improvement would be the patio. It needs a good power washing and cleaning.

This rental has a great floor plan and was just right for our small family. It would even work for a larger family as the sofa bed and hidden bed could certainly accommodate 4 more. The location was perfect, the Village by the Beach complex and unit itself were very clean. The place overall is very accommodating and we were able to bring our dog! I highly recommend this rental.

We rented this condo for a short stay at the beach with our dog. We'd stayed in a adjacent property last year, and this one is just as convenient to the beach, shopping, and restaurants.

Property was very clean and well stocked. (No foods or even spices, but this is standard in beach rentals.) Living area, kitchen, and master were all on the ground floor, so it was easy for people and dog to get around.

I give Padre Escapes highest marks for a property management company. We have stayed at one of their properties before and their communication, friendliness, and professionalism are the best and most consistent I've seen.

Would definitely stay at this property (or another Padre Escapes property) again.

Huge birthday celebration at pool held us from using community pool. Loud and rude people. We thought that was not allowed...we will not stay here again. Place also was not clean as floor needed swept and counters wiped down...beds were uncomfortable.

Enjoyed this condo and location. It is nice to be able to walk to the beach. The closest beach area is blocked off from vehicle access on both sides which I really liked. The pool was clean and nice. There were a few chairs and boogie boards in the garage which was very helpful. The management was friendly and helpful.

Everything was great! We had lots of fun! The only problem we had was the sink upstairs was draining very slow, so everyone upstairs had to go downstairs and brush their teeth. There was also a little problem with ants, but not too bad. The only other thing I would recommend is that if we are to put the trash in the dumpsters out back, we would need a key to get in/out of the pool gate because we have to go through there in order to get over there. Someone had to let us in/out. Otherwise, our experience was great and we really enjoyed everything.

Checkin was super easy. Our condo was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Everything was labeled from light switches to the shelves for plates, bowls, extra linens etc. which makes settling into a vacation rental simple. The location is perfect! Close to the pool, close to parking spot and walking distance to the beach! We give this unit 5 out of 5 stars!!

This adorable pad helped make our time here more enjoyable. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you need. We had one tiny hiccup there were no sheets for the sofa bed, but that was quickly rectified. The pool area was relaxing, and my husband loved being able to grill by the pool with us. Did I mention that the beach was within walking distance? We will definitely being staying here again.

The condo, view is great. Very clean and nicely decorated and updated. Office and maintenance staff very professional/friendly/helpful. Only thing is the Keurig/brewer didn’t work. Last year we stayed in 102 and we were supposed to have a Keurig as listed, but it was a brewer. We were going to bring our own-should have. Only negative.

Nice place, but there were a few problems. There were ants on the counter by the sink and I killed most of them, the water pressure downstairs was bad and every morning the lawn people were out and blowing dirt all over the patio furniture so we couldn't sit outside and enjoy the morning. Overall we did like the place and would go there again. The interior was well maintained.

This property was a great place to stay! Close to the beach, a lot of activities close by, good restaurants, & stores, etc. The property was beautiful & spacious, a good fit for four people & two dogs. Only two minor hiccups the whole time, the garbage disposal did not work the entire time we were there, & we could not figure out the Keurig coffee machine, even though my mother has a similar one for years, & we tried the directions on the coffeemaker & looking them up online. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and had most all of what we needed to cook, wash clothes and feel at home! We didn't want to leave! We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We (wife and I) stayed for the month of February '20 and enjoyed it immensely and would recommend the location to anyone. The pool was awesome when we could use it (about half our days there were suitable for being in the pool). It is within a block of the beach, so I was able to run the beach as often as I wanted. We had visitors and were very comfortable with our kids joining us and some friends (at a different time). The kitchen is a little tight for multiple cooks though. The listing says you can sleep 10 but we, as an older couple, would not have been comfortable with that many people at once. Next time we come back to Padre Island this would be our first choice.

Great condo. Love the location of this condo in the complex, right on the end so somewhat private with parking very close by. Great access to pool. Pool was heated, but could have definitely been a little warmer! Condo has all of the dishes, pots and pans you could need. Games and tv’s with Netflix and Amazon Prime we enjoyed. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, 2 full baths (one with shower, one with tub/shower). King bed downstairs, 2 queen beds upstairs, and full size pull out bed in a dresser in living room. This complex is 1 block back from beach, so easy walk over to beach. Overall, we love Village by the Beach complex and would definitely stay in this unit again!

Very nice place, and we had fun on the beach. The location right next to the beach was a plus! Only thing about the rental property I did. Not like was that I paid for an ocean view which we had off our balcony, however the master bedroom big windows which could've displayed a nice view were so dirty you could barely see out of them. I asked to have them cleaned but they could not do it while we were there. I was a little disappointed on that cause of the money I paid to rent the condo.

It's a good hike to the beach. Definitely bring a wagon for coolers, towels etc or buy a parking pass at the Stripes and drive/park on the beach. Go to Docs for great food sunsets.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! I would stay here again and did not want to leave this time. There were six of us - 3 adults/3 kids. We were all very comfortable and there was room to spare. This condo is extremely relaxing, peaceful, and spacious. The ambiance is amazingly beachy and fun. Everything is modern and new. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware. The floors are also very nice. The porch is fabulous for any ages to sit and enjoy the breeze, or for the kids to sit and lounge. The condo is steps away from the pool and the parking is close. The pool is gorgeous and was perfect for all ages as well as great for little swimmers as there are multiple kiddie pools as well as a shallow area at both ends of the pool. We also used the bbq pit by the pool to grill hotdogs and sausage. I think this condo is great for families, girls trips, or couples. You will have a great time! We sure did!

We stayed at the Village by the beach for 3 nights. The property and the condo by itself are very clean. Access to the beach (walking) is not as convenient as we thought but manageable.
It is the parking that we disliked. Spaces between car to car are limited. When most tenants have trucks and minivans, it made getting in/out of the parking impossible.
Overall we had a great stay and will recommend this property.

This vacation was very memorable. It was our first vacation as a family of 4 and the house condo was very nice. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends. My only complaint is that I called on Saturday around 1 because the door bell chime was stuck so the sound kept going off. They said they would come out and fix it and never did. We ended up having to disconnect it at 10pm that night because there was no way we could sleep with that noise going off especially with kids.

We provide you with a starter supply of toilet paper of two rolls per bathroom. You were there a total of 3 nights so it would seem that would be an ample amount of toilet paper for your stay. The first 24 hours we had no Wi-Fi, and the second day there was a water leak, but I understand problems arise and both were taken care of fast - the staff was outstanding. Neither of these 2 issues were a major cause for alarm. Will definitely stay there again.

Our family had a great time at this property. Overall well kept and clean and very close to beach. Kids loved the pool and it was nice to be able to keep eye on them from inside condo that's pool side. Only issue is that trash that is pool side needs to be taken daily. Couple of days had trash with bad smell that was at pool and near our condo.

We had 3 things - dryer took a while to dry , wifi wouldn't connect, and couldn't find a broom. I'm sure if we would of called someone would of taken care of it. we were too busy at the pool, beach, and schillterbaun so wasn't a big deal for us. Plenty of room for my family with enough towels and blankets. Highly recommend for a large family.

We stay in this unit every year, coffee table was still broke from last year, no broom and internet was very slow and went in and out. There was power outage on the island, with little to no communication from the management, our unit came on again after 4 hours of outage but went back off 3 hours in the middle of the night, however other members of our party were with out power from 4 pm until 1 am and had a hard time getting in touch with property management.

This was a family get away to let the in-laws meet the ne Great Grandbaby, and it could not have been a more perfect place. This unit was maybe a 5 minute walk to beach, and the pool(which was amazing) was just around the corner, including an area for the little one. This condo is very nice. It is located on the end of the building and you do not hear a lot of noise. The property was clean and well maintained. The person who helped me with the condo was very friendly and attentive. The only difficulty we encountered was the two parking spaces assigned for this condo. Both parties were driving large trucks so parking in the spaces was not easy. We will definitely rent another condo in the future at this location. Thanks.

We stayed in a nice little studio condo. It was very modern and the decor was perfect. The place was fully stocked with towels, kitchen ware, and appliances. The laundry facilities worked great. This made our stay so convenient. The pool, sauna, and hot tub were clean and well kept. There were a few little things that needed attention. The ceiling fan seemed loose and wobbly so we didn't dare run it. The mattress wasn't very good and I don't think we could have tolerated for more than the week. Otherwise, the property was great. The location was wonderful. The price was competitive. I had a great experience with Padre Escapes and will utilize them again.
