Mini Summer Getaway

It was good overall besides not having enough towels, couldn’t get the living-room tv to function properly until last day before exiting.

Almost like home

We had a wonderful winter away from the snow and cold. Padre Escapes is the best rental agency! Not only was the place clean and ready when we arrived, they were prompt at responding to service calls (leaky faucet). This was our ninth year with Padre Escapes, and our second year at this property. And we have already reserved it for next year.

Perfect Stay

Everything was perfect. The condo is actually very spacious. Cute little balcony, the master bedroom is awesome. 2 families of 4 fit perfectly here. The only thing that was a negative was the dishwasher. I don’t think it worked well and looked in rough shape. But the hat honestly didn’t bother me because everything else was so great.

Great Winter Get-away

We are Winter Texans. We stayed at the property for several months, and found it to be very comfortable and a great location on the island. The owner and Padre Escapes were very helpful and responded quickly with any concerns. We look forward to returning to the same property next winter. The carpets were in need of cleaning, and hope that they are cleaned before our return.

Great place, had issue with dirty sheets in one room but they fixed it right away...very little parking had a problem on last day which we could not find any parking at all

Let's give this a shot:

Is there a gas or charcoal grill available? No

Is there a place nearby to rent beach chairs and umbrella? On the beach

Are there any extra dining area chairs available? The dining chairs shown in the pictures at the breakfast bar and dining table are the only ones available.

We have 8 in our group and want to play some board games at the dining table. Sounds like FUN!

Does Compass Condos allow smoking on the balconies? (we would not like that since we don't smoke.) All Padre Escapes properties are non-smoking however smoking on balconies is allowed. This would be an HOA matter and not something we could regulate.

Are there any umbrellas provided in the pool area? Is there any shade in the pool area? No umbrellas are provided but 2 of the 4 sides of the pool area have 3 story buildings that provide shade to different areas of the pool at different times of the day.

Are there enough tables to accommodate 8 people in the pool area? Negative

24 hour grocery store nearby? I believe the latest a grocery store is open on the weekends is 11:00pm.
