The Queen bed is should be King size and it is very uncomfortable. The bottom bunk mattress is more comfortable to sleep on. The quality of the queen mattress is very disappointing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were spotless, and the location was perfect for us. We would stay there again if we come to Corpus.

Thank you for such a great review! We look forward to your next visit to our Island !

We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint was that the sofa bed and the master bedroom mattress was impossible to sleep on which made for a tired beach goer the next day

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for the feedback. Every guest has a different preference on their bed style, as of now, we have not had any complaints that it is uncomfortable but we will certainly keep an ear out. Thank you and we look forward to your next visit !

Overall a great place, location to the beach, golf cart rentals, and eating. Plenty of kitchen essentials needed to cook etc. Nice oversized bathroom with plenty of room. Our only complaint was the master bedroom bed. It’s a queen and hard as a rock. I overlooked the reviews about it hoping that it would have been up graded. Nice large patio facing west and out of the cold March winds, to watch the beautiful sunset. The condo was on the warm side for us only lowering to 70. The pool and BBQ area is also very nice!

We are glad you enjoyed the unit and location! We will be sure to relay mentioned items to the right departments. We look forward to hosting another great stay!

I stayed here over Christmas and it was a great experience. The location is great being a quick stroll to the beach. Gas station, CVS and some restaurants are all nearby too for essentials. The room layout and bathroom are all good. No noisy neighbors during our stay.
The property management left a Xmas card and 6 nice Xmas cookies - some custom Padre Escapes branded. It was a nice, welcoming touch!
One other reviewer mentioned the bed in the master not being very soft - and that's true, so if you're sensitive to bed comfort be wary of that. It didn't matter to me. The instructions on the TV mention it's a Roku TV...but it is indeed an Apple TV that's hooked up. True a bit of a pain to login and download apps of a weak Wifi - but watching TV was not our primary goal with our stay. If you aren't an iPhone user though, I could see this being somewhat a pain.
The only downside during our stay was the city unfortunately had a pipe burst and had to turn off water - plus issue a boil notice - but that was not the property's fault. I had learned later water boil is not uncommon in the definitely monitor the local news.
On my last day, my access code got reset too early so I had to call to get back in- but operator was friendly and got it resolved very quickly.

Thank you for spending your Christmas with us! Christmas on the beach is always a fun way to celebrate! Your review is appreciated and will help future renters! We do advertise this unit as having an Apple TV and personal login information is required. Thank you for your patience during the water boil notice- I'm happy to know the city repaired the issue in a timely manner. We look forward to hosting another stay, Padre Escapes style!

My girlfriend and I stayed in C101 for 4 nights and while the place looks great from the photos it leaves much to be desired. The couch is old and the material is rough and worn. We had to put a blanket over it when we sat there to make it somewhat more comfortable. The layout of the couch and chairs to the TV do not make sense. The TV does not have an adjustable mount so it cannot be turned to face the couch. The TV options are not great either. You need to log into your own personal Apple ID (which not everybody has) just to download apps to watch anything on TV. It's acceptable to expect someone to log into their own Netflix, etc accounts but there should be some preloaded apps to do so. When all else failed with the tv options we decided to do a screenshare from our iPad but that didn't work for long since the WiFi was not stable and you're constantly getting knocked off of it.
The bed is subpar at best. The towels are small and worn out. The patio furniture was non-existent to the photos we saw online. When we mentioned it to the management company, Padre Escapes, they were surprised and said they would reach out to the owners but by the time the owners responded it was our last day there and they still didn’t have a solution or reasoning for not having anything other than 2 mismatched old cheap plastic chairs. We chose this particular unit mainly for the patio area and furniture in the pics it offered. Everything there is simply no frills. No extra toilet paper, no tissues, etc.
While Padre Escapes were very communicative and responsive, they were limited on assistance to the condo space as they are reliant on the owners. My recommendation is to pick another unit or another rental location altogether. You may have better luck.

Thank you for your feedback. We can see how frustrating these situations can be when you are trying to enjoy your vacation. I see that our guest service department contacted you to adjust the TV/WIFI settings but you denied service and said things were working fine for now. We apologize for the misleading photos of the patio furniture as we were unaware the owner was replacing it all. We have a photographer scheduled so we may update our website. We do supply a starter amenities pack until you have time to shop, as stated in your signed rental agreement. Again, thank you for your feedback and we will be sure to relay mentioned items to the appropriate departments. We look forward to hosting you soon at 1 of 250 units!

We come to this area just about every summer. This is our 3rd time staying at these condos. However, this unit (C101), is by far the worst unit. Definitely not worth $1700 for 3 nights. Find another unit, because this one was filthy. The balcony was unusable because it was so dirty, hair and dirt everywhere. The outdoor table was rusting and falling apart, my kids couldn’t even sit down. The interior was gross and we killed several roaches. The bathtub didn’t drain. The fridge took an entire day to get cold. Find another unit.
- Anonymous from Fulshear, Posted: 08/18/2021
That is definitely disappointing and should be better. We will address this with the housekeeping and inspection teams and get it fixed.

Initially walking in it was fine. Later on we realized that there were cockroaches pretty bad. It was not cleaned good... look at the vents in the bathroom!!! We ended up leaving a day early because our kids were afraid of the roaches. The location is nice and the kitchen was stocked nicely. Kitchen also seemed clean. Maintenance was great and came right away when our internet wasn’t working.
- Jaclyn H. from Bastrop, Posted: 07/30/2021
Thank you for your feedback! I will relay to maintenance about the roaches so we may get the unit treated. Thank you .

We had a quick vacay with our two littles. The condo was nice and clean. (The shower could have been cleaned better.) The kitchen was fully stocked aside from a colander, which we needed for dinner and prepping fruits for the beach. The bed in the master is rather hard and the pillows are now very full and fluffy. Some may like that style. I do not and didnt sleep well as a result. The bed in the kids room was great. Nice size and comfy. Very short walk to the beach. The pool was nice. There was a group with glass beer bottles one night, the property HOA addressed it, but then the group was loud and belligerent, cursing after he left.

Thank you for the feedback, we'll get colander. We look forward to having you back again soon.

We had an amazing time at Pathway to the Sea. The property is centrally located to restaurants and all major attractions in the Corpus Christi area. From daily walks along the beach, sampling the local cuisine, fishing in multiple sites and by different methods, and interacting with the local community all contributed to a memorable experience, so much so, we will be returning again next year.

We had a great time staying at our rental. The beach wagon loaded with toys was a wonderful surprise too! Everything was clean and just as advertised! Had a great time!

I am not one to leave many reviews, but I have to say that the folks at Padre Escapes went out of their way to accommodate our stay when a death in the family happened the week prior to our trip which as you can imagine caused a big change in our plans.
Padre Escapes are great people to work with! The stay although shorter than originally planned was still great - condo C101 was clean and just as described - quick walk to the beach. Thanks!
- Jason S. from Rockwall, Posted: 08/14/2019
Clean, convenient and fairly priced. Smaller than appears in the photos. A/C struggled to keep up with afternoon heat but evenings were comfortable and did not interfere with sleep.
Overall, a solid rental.
- Scot A. from Coppell, Posted: 07/31/2019
We had a great time. This is a nice beach house, with the water close by. A couple suggestions: add an outdoor shower and include a spatula in the kitchen. Otherwise the kitchen was complete.
- David W. , Posted: 06/06/2019
Our family of 3 had a great experience. Everything was clean when we arrived and the condo is in good condition. This unit is on the ground floor and parking is just outside the entrance way. The beach couldn’t be more convenient - very quick walk, and the condo has a nice wagon you can use. Also, they have several games for families (Operation, Sorry, Uno...). The pool is just on the other side of the condo and is nice and clean. We had a great stay, and I would recommend this spot to a family.
- Heather S. , Posted: 05/12/2019
Property was beautiful. Easy access to the beach & local attractions. Rental company was SUPER easy to work with & genuinely cared about our stay.
- Sonja R. from Oklahoma City, Posted: 11/14/2018
we had the most enjoyable stay. Love the way the condo was set up, the location to the beach. The pool was amazing, best way to build a pool. Grand children played while we got to sat in lawn chair inside the water, being only one foot deep. Got a lot of sun and was able to relax. The other guest were very friendly and nice. Enjoyed location of everything around us.
- Karen S. from Liberty Hill, Posted: 09/05/2018
My family of four plus grandparents spent the weekend here and it was perfect for our short getaway. We enjoyed relaxing in the room and at the pool. It is very close to the beach access which was just what we need with our little ones. We would definitely stay here again. This was our second time reserving with this rental management company and both times have been great!
- Regina O. from San Antonio, Posted: 08/21/2018
The condo was extremely comfortable and close to the beach. It was just what we needed after a week of sightseeing in the Texas sun.

Great place walking distance to the beach.! Had a great time with the family. Kids loved the pool. I would recommend this property to all my friends.
- Juana C. from Austin, Posted: 08/11/2018
The property was nice, as expected. But the pictures of the property are misleading. It is an active construction site with the other buildings being built as of 8/1/2018. I was very disappointed with the quality of service. For example, the property is toted as having a pool and being within walking distance to the beach. Both were correct. However, per the rental agreement "Do not remove anything from the property. This includes bath towels provided by Padre Escapes. These are not to be used at the pool or beach either." So they expect people traveling, often flying, to bring their own beach towels or buy new ones there. Also, they provide exactly one bath towel per person "One bath towel and one wash cloth will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the unit. One hand towel will be provided in each bathroom." which again, is super inconvenient. They even mention keeping an accurate inventory so it would not be difficult to provide beach towels/extra towels and account for them. Finally, it was expected that you shop for your own consumables to include toilet paper. In the agreement, it states "Complimentary amenities will be provided in the property as a convenience until you have time to shop. These items include a sponge, bath soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and make-up remover wipes. These items will not be replenished during your stay." When we arrived, there was one roll of paper towels, two rolls of thin toilet paper, one individual packet of laundry detergent, and two packets dishwasher detergent. The only reason there were even two packets of dishwasher detergent was because they require you to run the dishwasher the day you leave. I understand if someone is renting for weeks or months, but most of the time it is a long weekend or a week vacation. It is too expensive of a property to have to go buy your own toilet paper and pool towels. This property was overpriced.

We hate to hear that you were disappointed in your experience but everything you mentioned is made clear ahead of time. There is also a washer and dryer in every property for your convenience and if you'd called for additional towels, hand towels, etc. we would've gladly provided them. We do provide a full brand new roll of paper towels and two brand new rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. We also communicate all of this information very clearly through our website, rental agreement and arrival text messages, such as "Things to Bring: Beach/Pool towels, Sunscreen, Beach gear, Shampoo & conditioner, Food, condiments, coffee, etc." and "Padre Escapes supplies: Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths & bed linens, A starter supply of bath soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, and trash bags." It also states very clearly on each property, "THIS IS A BRAND NEW BEACHSIDE COMPLEX THAT DOES HAVE SOME CONSTRUCTION STILL GOING ON HOWEVER, THIS BUILDING IS COMPLETED. THIS CONSTRUCTION IS FACTORED INTO THE CURRENT PRICING. BOOK THIS BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY NOW BEFORE RATES GO UP!" We appreciate your feedback.

HAD AN AWESOME TIME
- Anonymous from SAN ANTONIO, Posted: 08/05/2018
The property is in an excellent location, well manicured with a very nice pool. Our condo slept 7 easily and comfortably and had everything we needed! The only issue we had was with the community grill, that never seemed to be available. I recommend a sign up sheet so that guests don't have to check on the status every 30 min, and to avoid prolonged use of the grill when other families are waiting.
Definitely would stay again!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Pathway to the Sea. The location was great and close to Padre Island National Seashore. When we weren't spending our time at the beach you could find us unwinding by the pool at the condo. The property is new and very clean and well maintained. When we had a question the manager was very easy to get a hold of. One evening we made our way down Whitecap Beach for dinner at Mikel May's Beachside Bar and Grill on the Bob Hall Pier which has a great view of the ocean. We would definitely recommend this property for your stay.
- Launa E. from Pflugerville, Posted: 07/13/2018
The condo was very nice inside--very new and clean. Rating it 4 stars because there was a mosqito problem around condo and lots of road noise in C101.
- Anonymous from College Station, Posted: 07/09/2018
We apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. We had heavy rains before your arrival so mosquitoes were at an extreme and it was during 4th of July so road traffic was the worst you'll get all year. Thank you for your feedback.
