Perfect Location
This condo was the perfect size and perfect location for our family beach trip. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfy and the beach was only a short walk. The condo was very quiet and calm. It was so clean which is hard to do that close to the beach. Couldn’t ask for more.

Texas Hospitality
This condo is at a great location at a very affordable price. Everything we needed was at the condo. Lots of updates and very clean. Beach was easily accessed and restaurants were close by. Would definitely rent again!! Don’t pass up this opportunity for an affordable beach vacation.

Home Away From Home
I love the updated decor and overall atmosphere of this condo! It feels like a home away from home. The kitchen is well equipped with just about anything you could need to enjoy a meal or cup of coffee without having to go anywhere. The beach is right across the parking lot, which is awesome because it saves from having to load the car up with all those sandy items. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower before you go upstairs so you can rinse off which we definitely took advantage of. Each room has a TV which was great for morning and evening entertainment. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay here and are planning to return!

Perfect for our Family
This was the perfect place for our family to stay. We had everything we needed in the condo. The heated pool was great, as it was an exceptionally cool Spring Break. The close proximity to the beach meant we could come and go with ease. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had an amazing time while at Padre Island and the accommodations were beyond our expectations. The condo was clean, fully furnished and being right across the street made us so easy to walk to beach. The pool felt so nice to just swim and relax after a long day at the beach . I would highly recommend this vacation rental.

Perfect Condo
Surfside 202 was the perfect condo for our family! The location had easy access to the beach, it was a quick walk across the street or you could drive on at the end of the road. The interior of the condo is beautiful, beds are comfortable and you are given plenty of kitchenware to use. We also enjoyed the pool. At other resorts the crowds can get rowdy or loud. This wasn't the case at Surfside. We made many new friends and enjoyed the peaceful, family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Condo 202 was one of the best condos we have stayed in, and we have been staying at Surfside for over 10 years. They had a high chair and playpen in the room, which I have not seen before. Everything was up to date and clean. The room included access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. and included a PlayStation. We will definitely stay here again. Only downside was that the king bed was very high and uncomfortable.

Easy walk to the beach with a wagon. Our only complaint is that the AC in the 2nd bedroom was very inconsistent. The rest of the unit was comfortable but this room was often stifling.

The stay was nice considering the weather. I could stay I was really not impressed w/ internet service. Would work off and on on another note there are a lot of winter Texans who stay. So pool is not really kid friendly. Nice view to beach.

Winter Texans are typically just here in Jan. - Feb. but a few stay through March. The pool and complex is usually very family and kid-friendly. I have rented many units in this complex over the years, this unit is one of the nicer ones since it has been updated nicely and not "overdone " with decor and fake plants. The bedrooms are nicely appointed with very comfy beds and updated new furniture. The kitchen was well supplied most things you need if cooking in, cold use a better saute /fry pan ?The one we used was pretty worn and warped. I would stay here again , the only complaint i have is directed to housekeeping, all the tabletops were not very clean , like someone ran over tops with old wet rag , lots of smudges and smears. I did mention this to the front desk office, they were very helpful btw .Water pressure in shower very low could be a complex thing, or maybe new shower head? Overall, would stay here again, very nice location to beach!

Our stay was fun but a little cooler than we had hoped. Fishing was great.
Unit we stayed very nice and clean. Shower in the bathroom needs to be cleaned or adjusted for better water pressure. Took forever to rinse hair .

Loved our condo...super clean, had all the necessities. We have never stayed here before and when we pulled up in all honesty we weren’t quite sure about it...however when we walked into our place we loved it. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities for our stay.

My stay was very nice. Room #202 is very modern and is upgraded, unlike some other rooms in which we stayed. The pool was heated, which was good since a cold front blew through. Friendly tenants and staff.

Beautiful, beach-inspired condo. Both bedrooms offer a beach view. The beach is a short walk across the street and the public parking lot. This was our first condo rental and experienced a few hiccups during check-in due to conflicting information on the property management's office hours, but I believe this was due to incorrect office hours listed in the VRBO agreement.

What a great find!
We took our 2 kids to the ocean for the first time (ages 18months and 3.5 years) and had a wonderful time here! The condo was clean and very spacious. Our kids are at an age that makes it challenging to do restaurant meals so having a full kitchen and dining area was a must for our trip. They had everything we needed. The pool is nice too. The beach is about 100 yards from the condo and there is an outdoor shower/hose area near the pool to get all the sand off before coming back inside. This was a bigger deal we could have imagined. Getting sandy kids in and out of carseats after a beach trip is no fun. It's so easy to walk back to the shower for a rinse. We did take one car trip about 20 minutes south to the National Seashore which was worth the trip. The water down there is a deeper blue and the sand is white. You feel like you're in the middle of know where surrounded by miles of sand dunes down there. A great time was had by the whole family!

My husband and myself brought 3 of our grandchildren here for a few days. It was wonderful. The bedrooms where big a spacious. The kitchen was well stock with everything we needed for cooking. However the best was the beach right across the street. We had an ocean view from our bedroom too. They have a great pool with plenty of grills and seating. In the evening it is pretty busy because people are grilling and enjoying the evening. But we couldn’t hear anything in our condo. They are pretty soundproof I guess. The staff was really friendly. Whatever we needed they were very accommodating. Thanks for the great stay. We will be back.

Upon checking in floor was sandy had to ask to mop again which after was taken care of after much coaxing. Rooms were stuffy and smelled bad. Air conditioning didn’t work properly it was very hot and stuffy couldn’t sleep. Very noisy rowdy guests outside in the pool area until very late. Rusty refrigerator with ugly stains quite an eyesore.

We're certainly disappointed to hear this but we do appreciate the feedback. Housekeeping is priority for us so we will follow up on your concerns with the housekeeper and inspector. Haven't heard any other complaints about pool noise but you guys where there during Memorial Day Weekend so the whole place was sold out and it can be a little noisier then.
