Surfside 117

Love this condo so much we were able to stay an extra day! We'll rent this unit again in the near future. Upgraded walk in shower a plus. Beds are comfortable. Decor is cute. 5 minutes walk to the beach is always fun.

My family has stayed at Surfside Unit 117 yearly for the last 4 years. We have not had any issues and enjoy its spacious living, fully stocked kitchen(except food) and proximity to the beach. This unit is well maintained so we book the same one each year. We have recommended it to other family members and now we do a group booking at Surfside Condos for a family reunion. All the units have been very comfortable and the pool is a great gathering place. The multiple BBQ pits are a +

This is the 20th year on Padre Island in January and bout the 10th or 11th at Surfside. The property is so well kept and the condos are lovely. The staff is super, especially Sarah, who was so helpful. We'll be back next year!

It’s in a great location but the property is older so there are some common amenities missing. This unit in particular is not really set up for a family of 6 more like 4 and I will pick a unit with 2 bathrooms next time. Also stay on the second level because the walls n floors are thin and you can hear everything

2nd visit to Surfside 117. Once again the unit was clean and had all the extra we needed for our family beach trip. Tv’s in all rooms and the pool was a +. Beach access just across the street.

We had a good two day stay there. The unit was overall great. No wifi at all and remote was missing for a day but office came through. Couldn’t watch Tv because the cable was not working either . Luckily we brought a blue ray player to watch some movies . Bed were very uncomfortable but I like soft not firm . Everything provided was as mentioned so that was great ! Pool was nice and clean . Overall good 2 day stay.

Padre Escapes was one of the easiest to work with management companies we have ever come across! The location is great and the pool yard is beautiful. The furnishing in this condo were just okay, as the chairs and couches were a little sunken in and could be replaced. The bedroom needs a room darkening curtain placed as the security shines right through the blinds. The shower head was set for a person no taller than 5’7”. However, the BIGGEST issue by far is the lack of privacy... the noise from the condo above was ridiculously loud! We heard every word of the gentleman above swearing at the woman, every tap of children’s little feet across the floor and every sound made in the bathroom!!! For six nights we both slept with ear plugs... NOT the relaxing week we had hoped for. There is little fault to be found here, the floors/ ceiling just lack any soundproofing. If you are light sleepers this is not the room for you.

Thank you for the feedback. The shower is the same size for all the units in the complex and is a pretty standard size. Part of being in a multi-family condominium complex is that you will have neighbors that can make some noise from time to time, if it was ever excessive you can just let the front office know and we will be happy to address it. Thank you again for the feedback, as of 2021 this owner has done significant updates and painting to the property, including: New floors, new remodeled bathroom w/shower stall, new King bed & mattress, 2 new mattresses in the 2nd bedroom, new Livingroom furniture, new dining room, new steam-cleaning stove, new microwave, new A/C.
