Everything was great except downstairs bedroom stays warm while rest of house is freezing.

The condo is in a great location, especially with side gate to restaurants and a couple of bars. As for the condo itself, the owners need to do a couple of updates with paint and dishware items. For a 3 bedroom condo, there should be more pans to cook with. The main complaint we had was the downstairs bedroom was at least 20 degrees warmer than the upstairs room. The owner or PMC needs to get that hvac checked for sure. Also, when we arrived we had a pillow with a dirty pillowcase next to it. Also, there should be at least 4 towels in each room, not two. The floor plan accommodated all three couples very well and overall the condo worked for us. I would definitely recommend removing the carpet from the stairs or at least updating it.

From the booking until the end of our stay Padre Escapes was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The condo was beautiful and very spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils & dinnerware. We also love the location! Looking forward to our next stay!

The property was very clean. It had everything we needed and then some. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths was amazing so everyone had their own bathroom. The pool was great and my kids liked the little play ground. The only set back was that the downstairs bedroom wasn't getting good airflow so it was a little warm at night, but other than that, it was amazing.

Very comfortable. Good pool area for the kids and bbq pits in the pool area is great. One or two minor issues with the condo but nothing major that would impact the stay negatively. No place will be perfect. Good communication, and condo was close to the beach and other places which was convenient. The condo had everything we needed. Overall a good stay. ����

We have stayed at Nemo Caye resort for several years now. The condos are perfect for our large family group to spread out in and be comfortable. The kids love the pool area and it is just a couple of minutes drive from the beach.

This condo is very spacious and cleaned. It would’ve been perfect if only the washer was working. Call the maintenance but they said they had previous complaints. The swimming pool was very a clean and kids had a blast.
Staff were very kind and took us extra towels.

Everything was pretty comfortable. Pretty clean. Close to the beach. The only was the Bathroom downstairs couldn’t be used due to a hole in the wall. They came to fix it 9 in the morning the day we were leaving. I guess they didn’t know people were still there.

I’m so disappointed to have to give this place a bad review. We stayed here about a year ago at the Sunset Dunes Townhome & it was a solid 10! Which is why, when I decided to book another trip, Padre Escapes was my first choice. We picked a townhouse at the Nemo Cay properties. Booking & payment was easy & went well. When we got to the house Friday night it was about 80° & smelled like raw fish & cigarettes. The first night we slept downstairs, it was hot and sticky the whole night despite the AC being set to 73°. The next morning our friends who stayed upstairs said that it was unbearably cold to the point where my friends son began to wheeze. I put in a work order through their app & they quickly responded. The house felt better initially but after a few hours the downstairs bedroom was humid again. We decided we’d just sleep in the empty bedroom upstairs. The bathroom sink had ash in it that couldn’t even be washed down the drain because the drain was clogged with hair! The second night was more miserable that the first. We bumped the AC up to 75° & continued to raise it but it was still unbearably cold. We all had to sleep with multiple blankets. I was glad to wake up this morning, pack up & get out of there. I don’t know if certain locations run differently but I would at least say don’t stay at the Nemo Cay location.

We had a great stay. We have a large family, 9 of us, and we fit quite comfortably. everyone had a bed and the three bathrooms came in handy. We were there during Thanksgiving and the staff had even left us a pumpkin pie, the kids loved it. The house was super clean and the check-in process was super easy. I would saty here again, for sure.

We had 6 ladies stay for the weekend. Condo was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. Place was clean. Pool area was very nice. Lots of tables to eat by the pool.

The place itself was great! Lots of space, the grill was over by the pool which would have been inconvenient but my husband purchased a cheap charcoal grill so we could grill in the area in the back. Only real issue we had was that we couldn’t check in earlier than 4. We were there about 9 minutes prior, no one was there so I called and they said you would get a text right at 4 which was disappointing because prior they said if the house was ready before, they would let us in.

A guest checked out of the property the same day of your arrival. The property was cleaned and inspected as fast as possible but we want to make sure it is cleaned up to our normal standard before allowing a guest in so this can take some time. The overall experience was amazing. The property was very nice, well stocked, clean and very spacious for the 7 of us. 2 adults 5 kids. The only hiccup was with the cable in the master bedroom. The picture was either blurry to where you could not see faces or the screen was black. Was unable to watch the last basketball game of the finals with Golden State and Toronto. Very upsetting. Contacted the leasing office the next day. They sent someone over to check it out however at that time it was working fine. Problem continued to persist but we made the most of it. We spent time in the community pool and even barbecued. We went to several beaches, enjoyed dinner and Karaoke at Mikel Mays at the Bob pier and spent a day at Schlitterbahn which was in close proximity to the resort. We visited the Texas State Aquarium as well as the U.S.S Lexington. We really enjoyed the experience and will definitely return for another stay. Would recommend staying at the resort to anyone wanting to vacation on S. Padre Island.

Deadbolt would not work on front door, no towels for my daughter, house stunk(my shirt I slept in smelt like the bed when I got home) so I was glad I took Lysol. But I could handle that. We got back from the beach very late Saturday night and my daughter in law washed her towels and they would not dry. Had to put them on the banister. I had to fold mine up damp and wash them when I got home. But of course, when I told them about it on Sunday, it worked, and could not get at least one night refunded! No proof of this problem! Have 7 other people who were with me that know it did not work. We were tired and wanted to go to bed so that’s why we did not call-but that’s cool!

The townhome was in great condition. Space was one of the primary reasons we selected this rental over others closer to the beach, and we weren't disappointed. Each bedroom had a bathroom. The kids room was such a cool space with 2 bunks and an extra full bed. Enough room for the 4 kids in our party. Layout was nice. Only 4 dining room chairs but we pulled over the bar stools when we wanted to gather around. The only negative about the actual unit was the time it took the dryer to dry a load - approximately 3 to 3.5 hours on high, don't bother trying the medium setting.

We found everything we needed in the unit - towels, linens, pillows, plates, utensils, toaster, even a corkscrew. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast and use the oven. The only things we needed to bring besides our personal items and food were our own beach towels. Note that the coffee maker is traditional (bring your own filters and ground coffee).

2 reserved parking spots in front of the unit. There was some street parking but we didn't need it. Pool isn't directly in front of the unit (we thought it might be based on the pictures) but it's a quick 2 minute walk. Kids loved the pool, we went everyday. Can get crowded but we had no issues.

Beach is about a 5 minute drive away. Probably just over a mile or so but it's along a busy street and I wouldn't recommend walking.

The check in and check out were very convenient and so was communication with the agency. We had no complaints and would definitely rent again.

We love Padre Island! The beaches were so clean and clear this year, so we spent every minute we could on the beach. The pool area at Nemo Cay is very nice and clean. Our Townhouse was nice and fit our needs. We had 4 adults and 6 children with us. We were disappointed that there were only 4 forks (quickly taken care of), 6 dinner plates, a broken can opener and worn out skillets and utensils. Otherwise the layout of the townhouse worked great for our family.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, there were things I was disappointed with. First of all, several of the rugs were dirty and stained as it was noticeable on the kitchen mat. Also the coffee pot had old coffee grounds in the water reservoir. Also, on the upstairs bathroom (where bunks are located) the area around toilet handle was dirty. A sign was left that the house was cleaned 6/1/2017. I would expected the house to be cleaned again prior to our visit. Lastly, several of the batteries to the tv remotes were corroded. We did receive new batteries. Again, we enjoyed our stay, but it would have been nice if home had a much more of a thorough clean.

Nice place, however the crew could not get in upon arrival, even though the rental was paid for a few days before. After a long hard day, the crew had to call the answering svc and have a manager paged who then had to re-issue a new code for them to get in, delaying them entry for approximately 45minutes.

You are correct you guys were delayed in getting access to the property due to us mistakenly issuing you a wrong code but it was not 45 minutes. Our office is 150 yards away (at most) and I personally was on the phone with you before you made it to the office and already had a new code issued. Nemo Cay Resorts is a great family getaway. Our three bedroom townhouse was clean and inviting. We had plenty of room for ten people to stay. We would definitely come back and stay for another visit.

The place was very spacious and nicely furnished! Worked out well for two families with kids (we had kids aged 3 to 8). Beds were nice. LOVE the pool (it has a bathroom!). We had a list of small issues: Really wish they had hooks to hang up swim towels/suits outside and the inside; other units had this but not ours. Also would have liked a broom to sweep the floor after meals. The clock didn't work (assume it was a battery issue). We had to slam the front door to get it to close. The dryer took forever to dry any clothes. Also had a theft issue as someone stole the big vehicle roof storage box we had by the back door. We had an AC issue but they fixed it pretty quick. Even with all these issues, the place still worked out nicely. We would stay again.

The house was very good. The beds were comfortable , decently sized rooms & bathrooms. One suggestion is to have barbecue grills in the townhouse patio.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately since the city of Corpus Christi codes do not allow grills of any type to be placed within 10' of any flammable structure we cannot put them on the patios. There are several in the pool area as well as several others throughout the complex.

Wanted to get out of Houston for a while. Initial we went to Corpus to go to the Selena festival but it was sold out. We decided to go to the beach instead, which was only 5 minutes away from our townhouse. The townhome is surrounded by resturants, shops and the beach. It started raining off and on so we went back to our room. We decided to have a bbq, pool side. The pools were nice and heated and there were plenty of picnic areas with grills. So even though our trip was raining and windy we were still able to enjoy ourselves thanks to the great amenities Nemo Cay offered. The décor in the townhome is beautiful and everything was fresh and clean. Thanks Nemo Cay.

The condo we rented was very clean, decorated beautifully. The people at the rental agency were so nice. We would highly recommend this place to our friends and family. We really enjoyed the restaurant Doc's. The food was so good and being right on the water was enjoyed by everyone. Once Schlitterbahn is complete, it will make this an even better place to stay...if that is possible.
