We have rented through Padre Escapes over the past 4 years and I can say this experience was by far the worst. First we tried upgrading to a bigger house and that request was denied. Second we arrive and all the units had a garage whether it’s a one car or two car garage along with a designated parking space or two. The size of garage depends on the size of the unit. We had a two car garage, however we didn’t have a designated parking space. I drive a lifted truck so I was unable to park in the garage and the management company told me to park on the street which was unacceptable. Aside from that the dish washer nor the ice maker worked.

Upon looking into the situations, per our Rental Agreement, we cannot make any changes to your reservation (cancel or change units) within 14 days of your arrival date and your request came within this two week period. As for the parking situation, we understand the frustration with your vehicle not being able to fit in the garage, however per HOA rules at this complex, we are not allowed to let guests use other assigned parking spaces and overflow parking is streetside. While we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, we do have to follow the policies put in place. We will have our maintenance technicians take a look at the dishwasher and the ice maker.

My husband and I have rented this lovely, very clean, well equipped condo for 3 months, January-March. This was our 4th year at this condo. The new owners have remodeled it perfectly. It is a block to the beach in a quiet complex. The swimming pool is heated. The kitchen is complete. There is a new Roku TV in the living room plus the bedrooms. Padre Escapes is the very best rental property management team. Zack, Peter, Emily, Kim, and others are wonderful if you have any problems. Thank you new owners and Padre Escape. See you next year.

We loved this place. We’ve been coming down to Padre Island for over 10 years and this was by far our favorite place to stay! We had plenty of space to spread out but also great options for hanging out together.

it was overall a good experiance, if I have a complaint at all is the parking. it looks like a 2 car garage but only my truck fit no 2nd parking spot for the 804 location and minimum guest parking

Great expreience! The dining room glass table had a crack in it and the couch bed upstairs was broken but overall we were very happy with the vacation.

Good location..evenly located between 2 beach entrances. They could do some maintenance work in several areas and would improve the looks 100 %.
Also pics posted of the outdoor patio give you a false hope..table and chairs were busted up even a busted up Foosball table out there. Kitchen table has a huge chunk of glass missing. This place has lots of space compared to others we have stayed but needs some improvements other places.

Padre Escape is the very best rental agency.They have taken great care of us for
3 years. We love BH 804 for 3 months and we will return next Jan.-Mar. at this same condo. It is 2 blocks from the beach, quiet complex, fully equipped kitchen with a big refrigerator. Comfortable furniture and beds. The owners takes good care of it. We are very active in Corpus Christi with golf and tennis. Great dining experience.

The rental was very clean and we were happy with 95% of everything about our stay. The only thing that was not as expected was the outdoor grill was dirty with no utensils to clean it ourselves. The couch had a big tear in the arm. That was our only problems. We were very happy with rental place and employees.

The unit itself is clean and very comfortable. It’s in a good location near the beach and plenty of restaurants. During our stay we did have some power issues due to an accident an the island but the staff was quick to reply with updates on when the power should return. The only issue I have for this particular unit would be the parking.... there seems to be not enough parking spots for guests or extra people in your party.

We so enjoyed the condo and being within walking distance to the beach! Since we had 2 little children we did have to drive a car with the kids and all of our gear. We were disappointed that it was advertised as a "first floor condo", but bedrooms were upstairs - not great for Kids.
